Firestone Complete Auto Care

I’ve been a customer from time to time through the years. The most recent was to buy another set of tires to replace the one that I also bought from them. The last set they screwed up on what tire I wanted as a spare. It had obvious tread separation and they tossed a good tire.
So come to the present and it was deja vue but worse. Again they put an obviously defective tire back in the car as a spare. We found the tire that I wanted and they remounted it. Then when I get home, I see a hub cap missing. Fortunately they found that. So the next day I go to work. First time on the expressway since the new tires. It shakes so bad I can’t go over 50. Take it back again and yes the balance was way off.
Almost forgot. I had an oil change too and when home there was oil dripping in my driveway. My car has a shield by the filter and it must be removed to change it. They didn’t and they spilled oil in it and never cleaned it up.
So never again will I go there. You don’t know if the mechanic is competent or a fricking careless idiot. Management made NO EFFORT to make my bad experiences right by offering SOMETHING beyond redoing the mistakes and an apology. Not good enough guys. Time is money and I wasted too much with you.
Valvoline next door will give you a free oil change if they mess up like that. The new car dealerships may be a bit more expensive, but at least they include a car wash. You could have bought me one at the Mobil Station and that would have soothed my opinion of you. But no, you just don’t care.
Firestone also sends out surveys. I pretty much said the same thing. So far all I’ve heard back are crickets.

Bob and his service crew are the best. I have been going to Firestone for over 7 years and they have always been honest and fair with the repairs needed on both vehicles I own.
Once again Bob did not fail me on my latest repair.

First time coming to the Firestone company to get tires done+oil change I asked to have my battery tested as well during service, at the end the mechanic comes out and says my battery is bad and needs replacing he asked if he could replace it, I said no I want to get it replaced myself, I take my car to advanced auto parts and oreilly auto parts to check my battery they both said it was good. I did not appreciate being lied to about my battery considering how much I was paying them! I will not go to this store again!!!

We usually go here without any problem whatsoever and have typical auto maintenance done. Once I was in another town and needed a tire pronto, as I had a flat. The guy at that place said my tires didn’t match. I’m not sure why Firestone has tires on my car that don’t match and I intend to ask them if/​when I go back again.
