After reading some reviews we decided to give it a try. We had one made in the morning and baked it for supper. It is thin crust but the picture I took makes it look like pan pizza because of bare edge was larger than I think it should be. After we baked it, the toppings looked a bit skimpy. However, the pizza did taste good, aided by the provolone cheese they use wth mozzarella. So, I think the question is if a Grumpy’s pizza is better than Papa Murphy down the street. I’m anxious to hear what others think.

I thought the pizza was pretty good. I really like thin crust pizza so I was excited to try some new thin crust pizza. t was better than I thought it would be. The garlic bread was just ok. It seemed like it was just a hot dog bun cut in half with some garlic and seasoning. Nothing spectacular there. Although the food was decent, I thought it was pretty pricey for being gas station pizza.

If you want the best pizza in Waukesha then you have to go to Dave’s Mobil. Completely rebuilt from the ground up a few years ago, they have plenty of snack and beverage choices as all gas stations do, but along with that they have«real» hot food including homemade pizza’s. The pizza will be made and cooked right in front of you. Sure you can go to Kwik Trip for cheap tasteless food, go to Dave’s for the best!

Grumpy’s Pizza is one of the best pizza’s around. Don’t let the location fool you… it may be out of a gas station but this is by far one of the best pizza’s you’ll ever have. It’s thin crust and the sauce is fantastic. Loads of cheese and spectacular toppings. Don’t hesitate to give it a try… I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
