We live pretty close to this joint and finally tried it out for a late Sunday lunch. This place will give you mixed feelings. Ambiance: We were sat in the corner and my view throughout lunch was a counter with a random bucket and bins with dirty dishes in it. There were obviously better tables in the restaurant, but nothing about the inside of the place was spectacular. Drinks: Corina Rita was good and the regular Marg was excellent. Smooth and you could easily drink a pitcher. So dangerously good :) Food: Guac needed salt and lime which we added ourselves at the table. You can get a really good amount of food for a cheap price. The combination plate was good and it was $ 8 bucks. Could easily be shared too if you were not super hungry. Service: Our server was very sweet and helpful. She originally forgot we ordered guac, but we reminder her and it was at the table right away. Other than that, service was fine. With drinks, an app, two meals and tip, we paid $ 40. That is not terrible. Convenient location if you live in Pflugerville.

Phoned in order but was not ready when I arrived, actually had no record I even called. Got home with my sausage and egg tacos to find out there was no sausage. Bill Millers tacos are a world above El Rincon.

This restaurant is amazing! The food was delicious! My whole family loved it; from appetizers, drinks, main dish and dessert… Yum! He service was outstanding. Our server was was so attentive and kind. He was fantastic. He owner Rogelio is wonderful! No wonder why everything is so delicious! You can tell he is passionate about what he does! You MUST eat here! We were visiting from San Antonio and this is on our list to come and eat at every time we are in the area! Can’t say enough great things about our experience!

This is the first time I have been here for in Sunday, and boy it is a far cry from other visits. The techno music when you walk makes you think your a night club that has people eating instead of dancing. While sitting down we were listening to loud techno music and hockey playing on the tv. The menu that was given to us had dried tomato seeds on the menu. The food was good, but not going back on Sunday’s.

Good food. Great for take out. Not my favourite salsa. But the enchiladas are amazing. The fajitas are amazing. The staff could be more friendly, but that’s why I do «to go»

I ate here off a co-worker’s suggestion. The first thing I noticed was the parking lot. Several vehicles were out front. I got in and was immediately greeted and seated. I went and washed my hands and the restroom was pretty clean(nice air freshener too). I will admit that restroom was a little closer to the kitchen than I expected. I ended up choosing the mixed fajitas with beef and chicken. It took about fifteen minutes or so before my meal arrived. I was surprised because I counted two people coming in behind me and more people leaving. My meal was good to say I enjoyed enjoyed it mostly. I liked the beans because they were similar in flavor to my grandfather’s. The homemade tortilla and chicken did it for me. I really appreciate the flavor of both. The rice was meh but wasn’t a priority on the plate. I may go back but it won’t be a top priority for me.

I wish i could have given more stars because their fish tacos and enchiladas are excellent but snotty service ruined an otherwise great meal. We may try them again if we want Mexican and don’t want to drive a long way to enjoy a margarita.

This would be the second time we went here. The first time, food was good and the service was good. Second time, everything from service, to the food to the wait time was horrible and after sitting there waiting for food, watching table after table come and go, we noticed how dirty and nasty the place is. The restaurant desperately needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. So, if you don’t mind crappy food, crappy service and dust everywhere, go ahead and go, but not for me anymore…

First time visit and probably last time visit. Went for lunch and honestly I was not very impressed by the service here. As part of a small group, the margaritas ordered had a very limited amount of tequila in them, if any at all, and the bottled beer was barely cold. I ordered Green Enchiladas… the rice did not seem fresh, more crunchy/firm than soft. Almost makes you think you got served yesterdays rice… wasn’t even really that warm. Two sauce choices for enchiladas, either tomatillo like I had, or standard red sauce. I’m more of a sour crème sauce kinda guy for my enchiladas. No real lunch menu, so you’re stuck with a large plate of food. I’ve had better enchiladas as a microwave TV dinner As a group, splitting up the ticket is a nightmare, having to stand at the cashier and tell what you ordered… seems that the restaurant would lose money doing this. But overall doesn’t seem very well run. The waitress we had was slow, no real personality and hard to undertstand.

Food is disgusting. The restaurant is dirty. Its pretty much the worst Mexican joint in PF. I will not be returning.

First time noob. It’ll be awhile before I get dragged back here. You’ll know when I’m back, I’ll be the grown man kicking and screaming and holding onto the bottom of the door, as I get pulled in. From the initial seating that took the girl extra time because she got distracted by another customer. Ordered our food. Was told by the waitress to get corn tortillas. Food brought out by a different person. Flour tortillas. Never saw our waitress til she came for the $$. Would’ve been nice to get a refill. Thanks. Overrated local dive. Why can’t more places worry about quality instead of quantity of patrons.

2 words. Menudo. Tortillas. I can not find menudo this good or homemade tortillas anywhere in Georgetown or Round Rock.

Have been going here for years, but won’t be back again. Worst horchata I’ve ever had. Extremely slow service, even though they weren’t very full. In the past, the wait for a seat for Sunday would have been considerable. Now, there were many empty tables and I can see why. The beans were dry and lumpy, the migas a greasy pile of cheese. And the person who rang me up didn’t say a single word to me-just reached out to take my card, then handed it back without so much as a «thanks”-“kiss my a**”-or anything else, not even eye contact. When my kids were 15, working their first job at Dairy Queen, they never would have dreamed of treating a customer like that. I said, «you never said one word to me!» and she still didn’t respond. Wow. Bad food, bad service, and bad hospitality. I will be certain to warn everyone I know not to come here anymore!

El Rincon is THEBUSINESS. I’ve been coming here for years, mostly for their b-tacs, but lately we’ve been mixing in some dinner action as well. Don’t get me wrong — it’s definitely your typical hole in the wall Mexi Rest with poor décor and slightly dirty atmosphere. The service is always great and atmosphere a little sub-par, but it’s as expected. It’s pretty difficult to screw up different combos of meat, cheese, beans and flour. I also cater b-tacs from these cats, and I highly recommend it! They were on time, tacos hot, and everything delish. Their homemade flour tortillas are enough to keep me coming back time and time again. One small tip — Friday nights they have a guy«singing.» It’s like going to a Karaōke bar where your drunk tone-deaf uncle has dominated the stage and keeps forgetting the words. It’s horribly fantastic and a bit like watching a train wreck, but order a couple of frozens and let tequila take the wheel on this ride.

I like a restaurant that gives you chips and queso(is like nachos with cheese). I was not impressed. The cheese used for the queso had to have been Velveeta, at least add some spice to the cheese. I felt like I was at the movies, eating their bag of chips and the little container of cheese. That did it for me. I was so disappointed that I can’t even described the food. I won’t waste my money here again

Seriously don’t know what people are excited about. We had heard great things about this place so when we moved from Round Rock to PVille we figured it was time we check it out. Plus we had a coupon for free queso so that just sweetened the deal. The place was pretty packed so we figured it must be good. Looking around though, I noticed that the only hispanics were the employees. That should have been a red flag. When 30% of the population is hispanic but none of them eat at your mexican restaurant, it’s probably not good mexican food. Our server showed up about 5 min after we were seated. Since they were busy I overlooked this. In the meantime we snacked on the chips and tomato paste(I don’t think it qualifies as salsa). He took our drink and food order all at once since we had plenty of time to look at the menu. The queso was so-so. Not great but also not bad. The enchiladas were pretty tasteless and the margarita was super sweet. In all, we paid $ 46(before tip) for two adult entrees, two kids meals, a corona and a margarita. I’m pretty sure they charged us for the queso also but I didn’t really look at it until we got home and it wasn’t worth going back for. Considering the service was mediocre, food was bad, atmosphere left a lot to be desired, and an overpriced check, I won’t be going back.

In all honesty I was hesitant to try El Rincon based on the average rating of three stars but we were wanting Mexican and were wanting to try something new a couple weeks back. We were there on a Thursday night.(I believe) right at the beginning of dinnertime. There was no wait to be seated, and the hostess was friendly. We where given the option to sit inside or outside… which was also kind of inside. Maybe the windows are opened during good weather? I don’t know. There were several tables already occupied that I noticed, so we took that as a decent sign. The place itself isn’t anything special. In fact, I would almost describe the inside as dingy. Our waitress came by almost immediately to take our drink order and drop off chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and very good. The salsa was also very good, if not too spicy for my liking. I ordered the cheese enchilada meal(2 enchiladas, rice, and beans), and I really don’t remember what my husband ordered, it was a combo plate of some sort. I do know that their was a chicken chalupa involved though because the chicken on that thing was freakin’ amazing. I want a bowl of the chicken by itself. Anyway, my food was really, really good! These enchiladas has chili sauce on them, and they were so good. The rice and beans weren’t anything amazing, but they were good. In total we spent $ 22.69 before tip. We will definitely be back, and will probably automatically opt for the outside seating area, lol. I’d recommend them.
