I really like the concept of this sub shop, I always get the original Italian«mikes way» or a sub in a tub(no bread). Always great sandwiches, the subs on the grill take a while to make and I would recommend getting a size bigger because they seem smaller when they wrap them up. The parking lot is not very big and it can be very hard to park especially if you drive a bigger vehicle. Also it can get very busy and take some time to get your sandwich.

I tried this place twice and twice was enough. This may be unfair because I typically eat Thundercloud Subs, so I have high standards. I tried the Italian and found it bland and ordinary. I guess Thundercloud is the only sub place for me!

Great sub spot… they have crushed cherry peppers which is hard to find here in Texas and whoever is the franchise owner of this particular Pflugerville TX one has a great staff on right now. If you can search who the crew is by dating and timing this post, please reward them for exceptional customer service.

Great subs every time! The meat is done in-house and every sandwich is made to order. Friendy staff with attention to every customer, every time. Their special relish is a real plus and they have the best pickles of any sub shop in town.

Super impressed with the staff at this location. I went in today during their lunch rush. The place was very busy, almost no empty tables and there was a decent sized line. The guy in front of me ordered philly steak which left a bloody residue on the meat slicer. I asked for vegetarian and without being prompted or asked, the staff member pulled apart the slicer and cleaned off all the meat residue before slicing my cheese. This was a huge deal to me because while he was slicing the meat from the previous guy I was contemplating not even getting cheese because I didn’t want any meat on it. The next guy that assembled my sandwich, listened to all my special requests like radish on only this half and pickles on only that. He assembled it perfectly and with care. Up to this point this has been the best experience in a place like this. The last employee seemed less than happy to be there and dampened the experience slightly. But I was so impressed with the other guys it didn’t bother me all that much. The employees at this location really take time and care in their job.

I’ve been going to this place for a while, but I’ve only had one sandwich there. The #6 roast beef and provolone is so good I never order anything else. I take that back, one time they were out of roast beef, so I got a club, which was also fresh and tasty, but just no #6.

Great subs. I had the Meatball sub and it was excellent. The wife had a Cheesesteak and it was very good, too. Need to try some more options. The bread was notably fresh. Only complaints was that my wife ordered the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak so she could get mushrooms and she asked for no Jalapeño’s. Well, they left them on there and she can’t stand them. It was a pain to pick them out. Anyway, I’m not bashing them too hard for that, as the food was really good and we’ll live. We will be back!

I’m glad one opened up near my neighborhood. My first time experience was a pleasant one. I continue to stop by their location because I enjoy their subs a bunch. Their service has been good. Each time I have encountered respectful and nice employees.

They always have friendly staff to great you when you walk in. Great little sub shop, ingredients are always fresh and the make tables are always clean. Great lower carb option is to get your sub in a tub rather than on bread, costs the same as a regular and is as filling as a giant in my opinion. My standby is a #13 original Italian in a tub Mikes way add bacon and avocado.

Jersey Mike’s provides a good amount of meat on their subs. Compared to Subway it is better, but Jimmy John’s is still better in my mind. I had cold sandwich, which was tasty. It had a lot of meat, but the sauce was a bit much. Based on the price $ 7.25, I would still choose something like Jimmy John’s.

Ordered a Roast Beef hot! Manager says«We don’t do hot Roast Beef». I was the only customer at the counter and because of some BS about corporate policy bla bla bla… they won’t do hot Roast Beef. I’ll be going to back to Jersey Mike’s on 183 near 360… they do hot Roast Beef. So until the Pflugerville manager decides to put on his big boy pants and make a decision for himself… my approximately $ 500 a year will go to Austin Jersey Mikes not Pflugerville Jersey Mikes. Really surprised by the low stars. I have been there many times and love the freshness. They are my go to sandwich place when the mood hits!

Hey there are a lot of «Sub» shops these days. These guys do it right and how you want it. The stuff is fresh and decent prices. My last visit was a bit off in that the crew seemed to be a little confused and scrambling to keep up. It might have just been that the location was new. The Pastrami is pretty frickin’ fabulous if you like grilled Pas. Not the best certainly but very good. Daughter loves the Roast Beef so that’s prolly a good choice as well.

I have been here several times, mostly because it’s convenient. The service is always a little slow. The sandwiches are all starting to taste the same to me. It’s just a step up from subway and a step down from Jimmy John’s.

Meh. We’ve eaten at JM’s in Chicago and were really impressed. Figured we’d have the same experience at this one. I mean, they weren’t BAD but they weren’t all that great. Just… sandwiches. Sandwiches that maybe cost more than they should? We went in for lunch about a week ago during the weekend. They were busy-ish. Kept the line moving. I think the guys behind the counter who were tossing condiment bottles back and forth in an attempt to shave seconds off the task thought they looked cool, but dropping a bottle of mustard on the ground, picking it up with your gloved hand, then putting the bottle into the fridge to be used was less than impressive. In fact, it was gross and unsanitary. I got the California Club, which is turkey with avocado. I’ll give them this: they didn’t hold back on the avocado. That shit was oozing out all over the place. Other than that the sandwich just wasn’t all that impressive. I’ll stick to Thundercloud any day. They may be a bit further away, but it is worth the drive.

I hate when reviews start off with«I really wanted to like this place», but dang man, I really wanted to like this place… Up here in Burb’ville, we don’t have many options, so anything we get, we automatically pray its good! Ugh. It did NOT do it for me. I ordered the Philly Cheese-steak. and while it did have a decent amount of cheese and meat, it was _very_boring. It ended up going thin with each bite, and just a bore to finish. I ended my sandwich saying 1. Its NOT Hoodys, 2. Its NOT Texadelphia &3. I wont get the Philly Cheese-steak ever again. Ill try out their cold cut sandwiches, and then decide if I cross them off the list or not. Employees were wonderfully friendly, so that’s always a plus!

I have been to this location several times since it opened. Usually I hit it up right after the lunch rush. Today I happened to walk in right in the smack middle of lunch. Now look, I understand that this is a busy time of day, and that you can only do so much to speed a line along… but do something. there is no reason why the guy slicing the meats, should be taking orders and slicing meats. There are like 8 guys back there working… someone with a pad and pen can walk into the line, take the orders and leave the slicing guy to do his thing… you would think that for a place that has opened operations around the country since 1956 would see that and do something about it. The order for today was not made to order, and even though I called in a third of my order, somehow the managed to mess it up, and didnt have it complete when I got to the register 30 minutes after I called it in. I will probably still go to this location, but I hope I dont go during lunch rush. but even if I do, I expect they would be just as slow…
