I too am surprised by the low cumulative rating of this place. We’ve eaten here about 5 times, and have always been very pleased with our meals, the friendly and capable service, and the dining room atmosphere. Food has always been fresh, hot, and nicely prepared. Portions always generous as well (the large 3-​entrée meal is easily enough for 2 people). our favorites are orange chicken and the walnut shrimp, but we’ve also really liked the broccoli and beef, and the Angus steak and mushroom. Rice has always been cooked perfectly.
If there is better Chinese fast food in the Pflugerville/​Round Rock area, I’m certainly not aware of it.
Looking at some of the low reviews, many focus on drive thru issues. How about getting off your fat asses and walking inside? problem solved.

There is no sense to order online and your food is not ready at pickup. Not just one time but this has happened the last four times. When I tried to talk to the manager she walked away. Now I going to the new Chinese restaurant right across rom the Mexican restaurant in town center. The food is delicious. They have lo mein and they offer free delivery to falcon ridge and black hawk. The dining room appears to be clean and comfortable. They serve beer /​alcohol.

Great Chinese fast food. Not sure why it’s rated so low. I eat here on a regular basis. The restaurant is clean, the food is cooked properly, and the staff is friendly. Love the chow mein noodles and the teriyaki chicken. Panda Express isn’t 5 star Chinese food but it is 5 star fast food. Dig it.

Not sure about the bad reviews but my experiences here have always been great. It does get busy during lunch and dinner hours so there might be a line or not enough tables insides, but that probably also means people like eating here. Driive thru seems to take longer so I always just walk in and order to go if I want to eat at home. They give you generous servings, obviously not overflowing because it is not a buffet.

It is hit or miss w/​this location, you never know what your going get. I agree, avoid the drive thru because the wait is long and you never know what your going to get.

It’s fast food, but is very good. The food is fresh and consistent from visit to visit. The orange chicken is the best!

I don’t know what everyone is saying with the bad reviews. It is a fast food Chinese place so of course you will have your hits… Good and bad days. Luckily I’ve had all good hits of all the times I’ve gone. Food is good and it is your typical simple entrees. Yummmm… Addicted to their orange chicken. Sorry for those that had bad experience during their visit. They sure missed out hence the bad reviews that were given.

I love the food especially the new ribs, Shanghai beef, honey walnut shrimp and if you want pure good protein, order the teriyaki chicken without the sauce. UMMMMMHHHH good! For a balanced meal. ask for half steam veggies and rice.
Check your order before leaving the drive through because they forget stuff. Great, affordable and nutrious food. The service leaves a lot to be desired.

We are regulars at this location. The food is good and they used to stuff your plate full, but we’ve noticed lately they are getting skimpy on things. We suspect it’s new management. It usually happens when the same manager-​looking guy is there. It’s a disappointment now when we walk in and see him there. Maybe we’ll try another location next time.

We’ve visited this location many times and never had any issues. They usually over stuff your plate which is good for taking home. You wouldn’t think that it’s associated to the Tech Ridge location which seems to set their own hours at times.

I just can’t with this Panda anymore. I’ve had some decent food during the day, but the night food is just atrocious! Two visits ago, my bf comes home and my bf broccoli was suddenly this sweet beef with peppers that tasted like sweet fried donkey ass smothered in sauce. Straight in the trash. Last visit, I had to make them cook some string bean chicken as I refused to eat string beans with no chicken. Tonight’s visit was a waste of gas. My bf had to make them cook string bean chicken because it looked gross. He requested double teriyaki bc everything looked bad. I get home and the only thing edible was the bf broccoli. The string beans were basically raw making me wary of eating the chicken and getting food poisoning. The mixed veggies… straight up raw. Like off the veggie plate and warmed up in the microwave for 45 seconds raw. I’m literally going to have to stir fry them myself in my wok for them to be edible… meaning that I could have just stayed my black ass home and made stir fry myself! All I can say is: #disrespectful

Again with the drive thru …16 minutes before my fat ass got out walked In and got my order… its full of pimply kids … no adult supervision… my last time at this location. im done… food is still good but not fast food

Stay away!!! Can I give zero stars on account of me getting sick from here! I am positive that my food poisoning is due to this place. I did not have breakfast and only can soup for dinner last night. Ever since I had my lunch, a few hours later, I have EVERY food poisoning symptom. And yes I’m in the rest room on and off all day. Horrible painful stomach cramps and very nauseous. I used to like coming here. The staff is very nice and always have a smile on their face, but I’m sorry my pain from this whole day is not worth it. I work from home and when I don’t work, I don’t get paid! I have to say that this has convinced me to eat more healthier from now on!

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go to the drive thru, as it was designed by a sadist. You’ll be on the road with your food faster if you just park your car and walk inside for takeout. If someone pulls in behind you and you change your mind about waiting 15 minutes for your food, too bad, buster! There’s no way out but forward and your lunch break is shot!
The staff is quite friendly and they’re really doing their best, but they all seem so spread thin and exhausted. I feel like this place would be a lot better if they’d just hire a few more folks, both because I like fast service, and also so I don’t get this weird guilty feeling about making my server’s day harder than it already is.
The food’s good enough, this is panda express, after all. It’s fast food that’s tasty, and I don’t expect more than that.

Very slow drive through on this one compared to others… but this time I ordered the 2 entrée with orange chicken and then paid extra for surf and turf… got home and the Surf and Turf was completely BURNT! I mean even the green beans were black as could be! Yuck! Called to let them know… they took my name and said they would give me a new one… that is why the 2 stars… other than that… a one! Why can’t they be more like the Panda on 290 east in Austin… that one rocks and does it right!

This is second or third time I have been to this location. It’s close to home and quick. This one was the last time. I quit!
Every time I come here they are out of food! Not just one or two items, but almost everything. No, they are not making anymore of it. Or if they are they don’t feel the need to say anything. In fact the staff doesn’t feel the need to provide average customer service.
I have been at other locations that will run out, but they are making more it will be a few minutes ma’am.

Food is good but the people their have no idea about the concept of FAST food. Drive thru takes forever and 9 times out of 10 there is something wrong or missing. I thought maybe going in us faster but noooo! It’s just as long! In fact worse because the girl just stood there waiting for chow mein to cook. Evidently the concept of multitasking is missing as so. The customer in front suggest she take my order because I may not be ordering chow mein, then a light bulb went off and she said «oh you’re right» ugh I would never go to this place if my husband and daughter didn’t like it so much. Be prepared to be frustrated beyond words

Food is decent for a chain. However the drive-​thru wait time is atrocious.

Worst PandEx EVER! The person in the speaker can barely speak English (usually I’m lax on this front, but it’s hella-​frustrating when that interferes w/​getting my order right!) which brings me to… THEY NEVER GET MY ORDER RIGHT!?! I have given this place a chance cuz I Luv me some PandEx and it’s the closest one to my house, but this is the last time… I have had it!!! And to top it off… there is always an ungodly wait time in both the drive thru and inside. The worst part about the drive thru, once you are in there is NO RETURN… seriously, you are trapped as you can literally not get out of the line until after the window! Hopefully management or someone will see this and by some random act of business savvy correct the wrongs. Until then, I am driving the 15mins out of my way to go the the PandEx off 79 where their drive thru does not hold you hostage, the person at the speaker understands your order, and the order is correct! This is just another perfect example of why I harbor self-​loathing for eating at sub-​par corporate franchises such as this, but dammit til there is someplace local that can rock some orange chicken & chow mien fast to feed my insta-​cravings, I will continue to be a fast food franchise sucker :(

I enjoy eating at Panda Express because always nice to have an option that is not hamburgers or chicken. The food seems fresh, good and full of flavor.
