Whataburger

What can you say — it’s Whataburger, when your craving one, you gotta have it! This is the friendliest burger place i have frequented. They don’t always get it right but they make up for it with coupons, credit or a smile and a do-​over. GREAT food, service and always smiling. Takes awhile to make, but hey it’s fresh and HOT! Will be going here for a few more decades, so keep up the good work!

Love whataburger! The food is always good and the staff is very friendly! The drive thru at this location can get slammed, but the management has proven to be willing to make it up to you if it’s bad. Came here a little under a month ago and the wait was pretty long, so the manager signed our receipt for a free meal. I was happy with the idea of getting even one free meal, but when we redeemed it, they not only gave us two meals for free, but threw in free Apple pies! Great customer service! Now to slip into a food coma and digest!

Pretty good location, they open multiple lines to get through the crowds. They always get our order right and are really nice through the drive thru. This is the main location we go to!

Jalapeño cheddar biscuit!!! I don’t eat pork, more so than not I have sausage on my biscuit and have to go back. That’s why there’s 4 stars!!! There are non breakfast meat eating people out there… LOL.

It’s the W… not much else you can say. It takes a long time as the food is not sitting underneath a light, but if you are from Tx, you know this.
It’s fast food, so not sure if anyone needs to be looking for stellar table service, high school kids work here and most of the times they get it right and lots of them do have smiles.

STOP DOING 2 LANES!!! It does not help. Slowest drive through I’ve ever been in. Rude little high school girl taking orders, confused food runner. Just no. Live right across the street but will choose somewhere else in the future. I’m gunna go ahead and say you’ve lost like $ 1000 of business a year from this Whataburger loving family.

Doesn’t matter what time you come here this Whataburger has a line around the building. It takes over 10 minutes to get one car moved. They need to learn how to properly staff this location. I come from a college town where our Whataburger has seen some serious lines, yet still get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. This one can’t even keep up with Pflugerville. Pathetic.

I grew up eating whataburger as most texans so I am a little biased, there have been very few WB that I have not enjoyed. This location is great, even when it’s crowded, as it usually is during the weekends, there’s plenty of seating and staff is courteous.
I always customize my order and never had any problems at this location, clean place, well maintained and good food.

Whoever designed the drive thru here was not very smart. Making 3 windows and 2 lanes for pickup is not going to make the service any faster. I just went there and ordered 3 milkshakes, pulled up to the window, got my stuff and was done. Or so I thought. I had to wait at least 15 minutes behind the car in front of me because they had not gotten their stuff yet from the 3^rd window. I was blocked in because the car in the 2^nd lane was either parked right there or had not gotten their stuff either. A three minute trip took at least 20 all together. Ridiculous over something that could be fixed easily.

I love Whataburger like nobody’s business. I’m a true Austinite and it’s my favorite late night stop. Don’t stop here, keep moving. The service was awful and my burger looks like it’s been stepped on. I give 1 star because I’m so hungry, and because it makes me. Whatadisappointment. :(

It gets busy but at times but it’s Whataburger… worth it. I will drive to this one rather than the one in my town and literally two miles from my house.

So this location is new has all the nice upgraded equpment etc. However there guest service is rude. Got my order wrong and it was kids meal? had to go back no apologies… Not even wasting my time talking about it. The Round Rock location mush better and I should have never strayed that far from home. I will end with“Lets see if this guest knows we were out of gravy and dosent notice”? Uh … Really… Other reviewers here are most likely correct!

Breakfast and good service just don’t get any better than this Whataburger. Good job.

Received friendly customer service. However, we had a rather lengthy wait time at the drive-​thru but my husband loved his burger combo. The fries were crisp and seasoned nicely. My sandwich was also delicious but had one serious flaw. I ordered the avocado bacon burger which contained no avocado. Other than that, everything else was fine.

So, I want to update you guys on this situation. I call corporate and give them all this information (receipt #, name, and number). They apologize and have the store manager call me. So, the manager calls me and apologizes and tells me to come back and they will make it right. Ok fine, I’m in the area and I stop by. The manager tells me he cannot do anything for me without the receipt. I’m thinking (corporate gave you my receipt number, name, and phone number) but ok, I’m tired of dealing with you guys! I’m done!!!

Me and the wife’s guiltiest pleasure, Whataburger breakfast in Pflugerville about once a month.
My favorite thing about it is how everything we get is always piping hot. Emphasis on always!
I have a hard time getting anything other than the biscuits and gravy. Sausage gravy without skimping on the sausage.
The breakfast on a bun is a very close second. If it’s a contest I’d pick the sausage, egg and cheese taquito third.
Place is always well staffed and clean. Sometimes it takes longer to get your food than other days, but it’s never been more than 10 minutes.
Price is right, too.
I’ll go as far as to say I think Whataburger has the best fast food breakfast around.
So while my arteries do not thank you Whataburger, my stomach and wallet always do.

Recovering from food poisoning isn’t that bad said no one EVER! This location plummets to a 1 star rating from me because the past 24 HRS have been pure-​D-​hell! I didn’t take the time to check out the most recent Unilocal ratings before I came which was my first mistake.
We popped into this Whataburger last night for dinner which is pretty typical for us on a Friday. The line inside was crazy long (almost to the door) and it took forever to get our food. Whoever said the best things come to those who wait has obviously never eaten here because that dinner came back with a vengeance by 2am. I was so mad; this was not a good return on my investment of time and money.
I know that it was food poisoning because my husband and I both got sick… veeeeeerrry sick. Instead of enjoying a great night of sleep I was stuck bleaching the walls and floors of my bathroom after my interpretation of the scene from The Exorcist movie.
You’ve only got to poison me once before I write you off of my list. Just ask Taco Bell (aka Taco Hell); we haven’t eaten there in 10+ years. You can keep taking your chances with this establishment if you choose, but me and mines are out!

This is perhaps consistently the WORST Whataburger I’ve ever been to, and I don’t even have high expectations of Whataburger. I’ve always considered them somewhat the bottom of the barrel, but this location has found a new bottom.
Our several attempts at dining in over the course of the last year have been unimpressive– the kitchen seems to be struggling constantly to produce orders and get them across the counter. Someone said they «get slammed» — it’s not the customer load, it’s that they can’t get anything done. I’ve been in there when the dining room was FULL of people waiting for their orders, but nothing’s coming out of the kitchen.
Last night was the last straw — we made a futile attempt to go through the drive through. Ordered one combo meal, nothing special. Just however they make it. Should have a mustard burger, fries, and a drink. Then one additional Whataburger, with Mayo no onions, and a large fries. Not that difficult, right?
Wrong. Got home to find two burgers, both mayo no onions, one drink, and one small fries. Got screwed out of the ridiculously priced $ 2.19 large fries, and got my burger made wrong. The girlfriend says «We should call them right now, and tell them!» For what? So I can let the rest of my food turn into a stone cold greasy mess while I drive 5 miles back to get what never should have been missing? There’s no solution to this that works for me.
Oh, and to add the icing on the cake — the burgers were in typical Whataburger fashion — as if someone had stood on them before wrapping them up. Squished like ½ inch thick. Yummy.
ZERO stars. Sorry Unilocal,this one doesn’t deserve even the obligatory one star.

Yes, Im a fan. BUT, I also guess because back in the day Whataburger meant 2am breakfast tacos, I just assumed that Whataburger made breakfast all day.
Not.
I rolled up at 11:01 for a delicious honey butter chicken biscuit, only to be told we stop serving at 11:00. My exact words were, «its 11:01, are you serious??». and the girl replies with «yes, Im sorry». F**k ME! I really wanted that honey butter chicken biscuit too. Sigh.
BUT, they have great onion rings and next to Chick Fila and Sonic, some DAMN good ice!

Probably one of the best Whataburger locations I’ve ever been to. Clean, full of employees willing to help and extremely friendly. It’s sit-​down service at a fast food location, it doesn’t get much better than that. Just be prepared for your food to take a little longer than other fast food places, as they do make it fresh.
