The food is always fresh and hot. I love going here for breakfast! Their breakfast tacos are excellent, the pancakes are nice and fluffy, and they make perfect hashbrowns. They also make an excellent cheeseburger! The prices are good, the staff is friendly(though mostly teenagers) and the service is reasonable. Definitely recommend!

I love this place! The food is great! Lot’s of stuff to choose from hamburgers to salad bar. The staff is so nice, it’s clean and inviting. They have a nice dinning room and a patio and a drive thru. Have I mentioned the hamburgers? YUM!!!

I am most impressed by their large and mind-blowing salad bar. I mean, if you like a salad, then this is your place! If you can dream it, you can put it on a salad at this place! But, if you get a salad, don’t you dare share it! There are signs! HAHA. I wouldn’t share my salad with anyone ;). They also have your typical American style fare and milk shakes that can put you into a sugar coma. We usually come here as a family and eat dinner. Ambiance is casual and prices for dinner are reasonable. Portions are large and leftovers are usually taken home. Service has been excellent every time I have been.

Why is this place always out of everything? They actually have pretty good onion rings, if you can get them. Seems like every time I come here they’re out of what I want. 6:50 pm, I order a burger and onion rings. «Oh, were out of onion rings.» Sigh. OK, give me Tater Tots, then. «Oh, we’re out of Tater Tots.» «What DO you have then?» «I think we have French fries…» So I take my third choice… AGAIN. I just don’t understand why everything I want to order on the menu is unavailable. The food is usually pretty good — when you can get what you want.

I’m a fan of the Philly and Club. I’ve been going to this place when it was still in its original location in the portable down the road. The taste has become more bland as time has passed and there’s never any seating when I tend to go(morning or afternoon), so I end up taking my food to go. Service varies on the day. Sometimes, I get great and speedy service. Sometimes, I wait as long for my food as I would at a place like Chili’s. My order has been«forgotten» more than once. Overall, it’s an OK experience, but it really is up to chance to see what kind of experience you will get.

The Philly steak Sammy was very good, the only one better would be Hoody’s, my wife’s loaded baked tater was really good… she got it taco style, they have four different ways you can get it. She shared a stellar frozen coffee drink with me, nice to have another place she can get these. They had a very nice looking salad bar laid out that i’ll have to try on our next visit.

I have to give 5 stars. My first visit. It will not be my last visit. Why? Glad you asked. The meat was larger than my bun. OMG. Pinch me. Who does this? Any burger company that want me as a repeat loyal customer. Bar with regular or jalapeño ranch dressing self served. I love that. I got two try both dressings on my onion rings. The onion rings are very good. Coating is very good and they are fried just right.

So lesbehonest… this place does not scream culinary genius, however it would be unfair to compare it to a five star bistro. Keep that in mind. First off, the interior place seems pretty standard with a Denny’s look alike«charm». Definently not a place to take ur bae on a Friday night OR Saturday lunch date. Just saying. Looking past that let’s look into the service/staff. Fast, friendly staff with an almost an impressive responses time from the kitchen when ordering your food. No waiting here. Staff were hospitable, however a little undereducated about the business. I asked a simple question, «Do you guys do catering?» And a befuddled look came over the face of 4 staff members. Diving in further to the food. I ordered the jalapeño burger and what came to my table was hot, fresh, and exactly what I wasn’t expecting from a joint with a drive through. You could tell the meet was fresh and not frozen. And the lettuce and tomatoes were nice and crunchy(evidence) it wasn’t sitting over a heat lamp for a while). I definitely will be returning.

Our first time to eat here. I was very impressed how delicious the food was. To tell you the truth, I thought it will be blah and greasy but wow it was amazing. It felt like I was eating at home. Fresh homemade food! My son had the special day meal(3 tacos with chips and quedo). He said it was yummy! He only ate 2 and took the last one home. He was full! My husband and other son ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwiches with fries. They said it’s very good! I ordered grilled chicken sandwich — it was great!!’ I got full too quickly. The food is NOT greasy at all! This is the place people should go there to have good homemade meal! It’s worth the time and money to go there. No regrets! Go there and check it! I’ll go back there for breakfast. Thank you for great meals and I’m still full! Haha!

The salad bar is always fresh. If they could add some bacon bits, and maybe some low carb options to the menu and salad bar. These are not really complaints but just some hopefuls. I wish you could get this kinda good food at the drive ins. They always have courteous service, a good staple of Pflugerville hospitality.

Not a bad place at all for the money. My friend Dave said it reminds me of Arby’s and then said he loves arbys. I had the hot ham and cheese and it was great. Seems most of the ingredients are purchased, but they do a good job putting it all together. I’ll be back.

Serviceable restaurant for your basic burger/sandwich/soup/salad fix. If you live in P-ville, it’s a solid standby restaurant. Decent prices, clean and fast service. I like that they offer a drive-through, too, just in case you need to grab a quick dinner on the way home. I am usually a bit underwhelmed by their soups and soup selection and wish they had chicken noodle more regularly — I need a chicken noodle place for when I’m feeling under the weather! I also wish they were a bit more generous with their salad bar. The standard salad is just one trip — why make me pile everything up on my plate at one time?

Hmmm. 3 or 4 stars? Had a good experience but wouldn’t say outstanding. The queso and chips and salad were good… shared a pineapple sundae with my friend Amanda. The kids working there were nice. Maybe I’d order something to-go in the future but probably won’t hang out cafeteria-style anytime soon ;) But this is a popular family-friendly establishment for the locals.

Club was tasty but my mouth is feeling the amount of salt in the food. It’s a nice place to eat, lots of choices. Staff was super friendly! The salad bar looks particularly excellent I probably should of gotten that instead. Definitely come back here again try something else :)

Any street named Pecan gives me a nostalgic feeling. I grew up in the country surrounded by Pecan trees, flowers, and sunshine. Good times! Kind of felt that feeling when I came to the Pecan Café for brunch. I relied on my trusty Unilocal app and Unilocaler reviews to lead my stomach to the right direction. I easily found this spacious joint that includes a drive thru and patio. I arrived right around noon on a weekday, so I was expecting a wait, but the line was moving with a swiftness as local patrons rattled off their favorite entrees to dine in or carryout. Since this was my first time here, I let other patrons order while I solidified my decision. No paper menus-just a big sign behind the order counter. A tv is on the side advertising the Daily Specials. I guess it works, but reading the details from a distance and above your head is a small inconvenience. Just pull out your phone and read the menu details there. However, such details as the double dipped ice cream onion rings SHOULDBEHIGHLIGHTED! How could you not advertise such a genious idea?! I only discovered this as I asked about the fries(which come from a bag– can’t spend $ 2 for store bought fries– Sorry) and then asked about the coating of the onion rings. The cashier didn’t know so he asked the manager who explained the creative creation. I was sold! When it was all said and done, I spent nearly $ 12. Why? Because the items are pretty much al la carte. You purchase the sandwich, hamburger, or other entrée then you can add on a side and drink for an extra cost which ranges vary. Kids meals are around $ 5 but a hearty adult will spend an average of $ 10 unless you purchase the daily special which includes the side and drink. Tempted to go the frugal route, I decided to stick with my gut feeling and taste the Flaming Philly. Using a toasted baguette filled with either grilled chicken or shredded prime rib eye this hunger busting philly packed a punch with jalepanos and homemade queso. In one bite, you experience cheesy, gooey meaty spicniness– my favorite four adjectives in the world! As a result, I had no choice but to devour the entire thing(it went towards a great cause)! I would definetly recommend this pretty philly when you stop by this place(in fact its the daily special on Fridays)! As far as the before mentioned onion rings– Meh. Great concept but coating is thin despite the double dipping ice cream process. Its worth a try just to say you ate them, but not worth buying again. Atmosphere is a solid 5 stars! Warm palette of gold and café brown. Spacious seating for small groups, but only one area that could accomodate 8 people. The patio may be a better option for a big group. While waiting for my food, I visited the bathroom. They could have made two stalls with a sink, but its definely handicapped accessible, which I respect, so if the door is not locked, be aware that someone may be using the restroom. Finally, the people make this place so inviting and friendly. Smiling employees and satisfied customers. I’m sure this place has no problem with customer retention. If you’re in the area, bypass the chain fast food and enjoy some comfort food on Pecan Street and get that great FULL feeling!
