I’ve been going to Blanca (owner of Stylin’) for 12 years. She always takes amazing care of me! I change my hair a LOT (crazy colors, natural colors, ombré, etc) and I always LOVE how it turns out. She makes sure that what we’re doing makes sense and had never damaged my hair. And trust me, with as much as I change my hair, it was a real risk. Lol
Ive gone from black hair to blonde to red and never had any problems. Some stylists will do whatever without regard to how your hair will react, but not Blanca. She makes sure your hair is ON POINT, and that it stays healthy.
Not only does Blanca take pride in making your hair look great, but she’s a sweetheart as well. And the staff are all really great here, too! They always are so nice and friendly.
You won’t be disappointed with any of the service at Stylin’. I’ve always loved how my hair ends up!

I finally found my stylist! I found the salon on Unilocal and also my dentist is right next door. So, i walked over and made an appointment. When I went for my appointment, Blanca was my stylist. I’m always nervous when I go to salons, just because I have very curly thick hispanic hair and some stylists just don’t have the gift of working with my kind of hair. Then, I met Blanca. She was amazingly friendly as soon I walked in. After my hair got washed in this calm room in the back. They play music and it’s relaxing I almost fell asleep, we talked about my hair, and before I even said anything, she saw my curls and let me know she specializes in curly hair so, I’m in good hands. This made me feel relaxed. We then talked about what kind of hair cut I want and she went to work right away. The salon is clean, fun and very stylish. They not only do hair cuts and styling, but also facials, nails, make up, coloring. You could spend the whole day here for a spa day if you wanted to. Blanca said they even do children, so I plan on taking my daughter here as well for her cuts. When I went in my hair was very dull and my ends were dead from so much styling. When I walked out my hair was literally like silk. I can’t keep my hands off my own hair! LOL. Everyone was so friendly and I will definitely be back for my hair cuts here! And trust me, I don’t just trust my hair to anyone. Usually when I go to salons, the stylist sees my hair and constantly makes comments about the thickness and the curliness. All Blanca kept saying was how much she loved my curl over and over. I did get it straightened but that’s because it’s the way I wear it all the time. Again, I loved this salon and will be back every time. Thanks Blanca!

I give them 2 stars only because the place has some potential. My personal experience — I would give them a MINUS. I requested and was given an appointment with Rhianna, but when I arrived, they told me she was busy and Gabby would be taking care of me. That should have been my first clue — I told her very specifically what I wanted for a haircut. She got «kinda — sorta» close and said she would tweak the haircut when I returned next week for highlights. We discussed EXACTLY the 2 colors of highlights I wanted. Stupid me, I thought she was listening. Gabby gave me the highlight — only 1 color, way too blonde that she wanted me to have, not what we discussed or what I wanted. I specifically said NO to a toner. Then she attempted to cover up her «handiwork» by applying a toner. She didn’t mix enough toner and remixed it. Once the color part was over, she finally gave me the haircut I had told her I wanted last week. Ok, mistakes happen — but the worst part is that she got mad when I told her I was unhappy — you can tell when brushes and curling irons start getting slammed down and she stomped around. An hour appointment turned into 3 hours — and — here is the best part — she charged me for highlights, she charged me for toner, she charged me for remix of toner and she charged me for a new haircut. I left in tears and finally through much discussion and very firm negotiation — I did receive a refund for Gabby’s overcharges. I went to another salon to have the color «fixed» — she took pictures and it still hurts to look at the decent haircut, with 3 different colors of base color hair — none of which I wanted. Bottom line — select a stylist who has experience, who actually listens to what YOU want, not what SHE wants to give you — total disaster — should have walked out when the stylist was changed on me last minute and the second visit — when Gabby walked in late for my appointment — I should have escaped then.

I’m so glad that I had my hair done few months ago with Victoria, she’s amazing, she had to do a lot of work on my hair since the previous hairdresser I had, basically ruined my hair and it looked so unhealthy!
I was at the salon for good 6 hours, if not more, she had so much patience and everyone was so friendly and nice too. Victoria really has great skills and talent and I’m actually going to see her tomorrow so I can make some new changes (: I definitely recommend her !

I used to feel unsure about getting my Asian hair colored. Obviously I cannot be a blonde but yet sticking to super dark brown is a tad boring. Anyway, I decided to take a plunge (again) and this time I super love the result. Victoria did my color and she is super sweet! I love how she kept me in the loop on every steps she took, she explain, asking questions and making sure that I will get the hair I want. She also did a great job trimming my hair. I already got a couple of compliments so far (and it’s only been 2 days!). I will definitely see Victoria when I do my touch up in a couple of months. Ladies – you won’t be sorry!

Now I’m back today and going totally Blonde! Haha will post pics later :)

They take good care of you at Stylin. Rihanna is the only person my daughter and I have seen and we’ve received great service each time!

My experience w/​this salon was not good at all. My hair is awful and don’t by their products, because if you do not like them after purchase they will not give you your money back. Bad customer service.

Dislike! Wanted to get a lighter color for my hair and my hair color turned out to be ORANGE! I had never had such a bad experience with a salon until then. Couldn’t believe that she didn’t offer to fix it before I left the salon. Went home to see that it was even more orange than it appeared in the salon. And to think I just spent $ 130 on that? Decided to go back in high hopes that they could fix it… negative. All the stylist did was take a little of the red out. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. If you do go here, don’t book with a stylist named Angie.

Blanca has been doing my hair for years now. I won’t trust any other salon with my beauty-anything’s. From waxing, hair, nails, eyelashes… anything.
They have always been very accommodating to my schedule.

. Decided to check it out, so I did a walk in today. Staff was absolutely friendly and helpful! I walked in the salon not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair. A girl name Faith took the time to give me some ideas. Unfortunately there was no appointments available today but fit me in the very next day (I did walk in later in the day, so totally understandable)!!! So excited to see the new me =))) Will keep you folks posted!!!
UPDATE: OMG, Faith did a fantastic job with my Ombré today! It is totally unbelievable, what a transformation! You guys really need to give this Salon a try, seriously you don’t know what your missing out on! Highlyyyyyyy recommend

Lisa did a great job with my daughter’s hair! Cut and flat ironed on an 8 year old. Only $ 25! Sweet!

I have been going there for the last ten years. There’s a reason I haven’t left yet because they are so AWESOME! Do yourself a favor & go get pampered while getting an amazing hair cut, color, wax, facial, spray tan, ect… You will not regret it!

Talk about a hidden jem! This place is wonderful. I was able to get a same day appointment and my hair looks amazing! Loving this place!

Stylin took me in as a walk-​in at the last minute.
I wanted to cut my hair today because I heard that cutting by the moon cycles encourages growth.
They hooked me up with Rhiana, a bubbly, knowledgeable beacon of style! I told her that I wanted to encourage hair growth, that I wanted to keep my length, but I needed an update to my «look,» which at that point was an homage to soccer moms across America.
The shampoo and condition session was nothing short of magical. She used organic products that smelled delish and massage my scalp in deliberate circular motions. It was like I returned to my mother’s womb.
Rhiana was very friendly and a great conversationalist! She lightly trimmed my baseline and added some mid-​level layers. Then she professionally blew out my ‘do with a round brush.
Thank you for transforming me from geek to chic!
