I love Main Event. They have laser tag, pool tables, bowling, games and more. The food is good and service is great. Every time we go I have so much fun, the kids have fun. Place is great. I really recommend it.

Absolutely a horrible place for a birthday party! They took and threw away food we paid for and the manager promised to us that we can take it home but completely screwed us over and lied to us, everything felt completely rushed we got there at 610 and they said we only have 50 minutes left to eat before they throw it away, you don’t ever hear about having to be timed on food you bought for and then it gets thrown away?! leave it out there for the people that show up late! THISPLACEJUSTCARESABOUTYOURMONEY ITISNOTWORTHIT!!! go somewhere else to throw a party! If you wanna go somewhere that rushes you on every event, has managers that lie and throws away food you bought for because you have a time limit on, then this is the place for you.

The food is not good anymore. Pizza dripping with sauce and very small and few toppings. We paid extra for green peppers and the pizza maybe had 8 tiny pieces at most. Salad was blah. Gave a star for nice waiter. The worst part was the extremely loud music and offensive music videos playing on all the tv screens. Total trash. Not a good family place. This place lost my respect and patronage.

Very disappointed with their service, and knowledge on their food or drink specials, and manager did not want to talk to me, he/she did not want to honor their advertisement on the coasters. I was upset with their lack of customer service. I do not recommend this place. Main Event corporate office needs to retrain their personnel.

Wish we had this in New York! So much fun. We spoke to the hostess(Brittany?) as soon as we walked in and she was kind enough to explain how everything works. She then went the extra mile and even walked us up to sign in, and then even walked us to our lane! So cool. While bowling, one of us went back and got in line to buy access for unlimited video gaming. Then went and signed up for laser tag. All of the lines are separate — buying tickets, getting bowling shoes, and signing up for lasertag/gravity ropes are three separate lines. They move pretty fast and sometimes are shorter than others, so we just kept an eye on the line while bowling until we saw the line was short. All in all this place is incredible, and they clearly try their best to provide good customer service. We’ll be back!

This is the best looking bowling alley I’ve seen or been to. They made it to where you have a small VIP area all to yourself. We didn’t feel too crammed next to other people while we played. We went in on a Wednesday evening(around 7) and left right before midnight. It wasn’t too crowded, and there was no wait for bowling, laser tag wait wasn’t long at all. We enjoyed putting up funny pictures for bowling, and getting to play about 2 matches.(You get an hour for play time) and if you purchase the summerpass, all you’ll have to do is go to the front desk and add more time. We got in a total of 3 ½ rounds. As for laser tag, we had a bit of an issue! Our 6 year old was a half inch short of 48 inches — you cannot play laser tag or the gravity ropes if you’re not 48″. We spoke with a manager, Tracie, and she said the little one looked good to her, but to keep her close by & was able to get us in for the night. She was very friendly and took our«complaint» very lightly and was super helpful. Got that settled in less than 5 minutes. Once we got in the doors though, it was pretty cool. We did have to wait for the lights on the vests to come on before we could strap on since they don’t sort them out and hang them in the proper color sections. We were green team both times, and we enjoyed it. I wasn’t the top but I did get most accurate lol. My wife achieved most accurate the second time around. Be aware though, kids are all over the place and when people on a team know each other, they stay together and they follow. We were circled by a group the entire second round. We didn’t eat here, as we ate before we came so I can’t include that… but they have a pretty decent menu. Drink menu looked nice as well. *unfortunately no organic beer* Overall, for $ 70, I feel it was pretty worth it.

Not a good value at all. I took 3 teens to hang out there and spent $ 60.00 on the unlimited wristbands. They got in line for laser tag and the next available game was in 45 minutes. They signed up for the gravity ropes and the next available time was in 1 and ½ hours. Same thing for bowling. We went early in the morning(10:30 am) and on a Wednesday. Big waste of money. They played one game of laser tag and the next available time to play was 2 hours later. They were not that even that crowded. I won’t waste my money on this place again. For $ 60 they played one game of pool and one game of laser tag and had to wait around for over an hour to do that. NEVERAGAIN. Video game prices are($ 1– $ 2.50) and kids have nothing to do while they are waiting except play the video games. These kids were ready to leave as soon as they finished they bowling game.

The place is cool. To start off they have a bowling alley but sometimes it is full. They also have laser tag which is sometimes almost full. To be honest this place gets really packed sometimes which practically means you have to wait about 3 hours to do something. Sometimes. They also have these ropes where you can climb on and walk in the roof. They have pool tables and a full bar for all the adults to get drunk on beer drafts, which people say are really good. The games are fun and come in variety. Just one problem, playing one game costs a fortune. Each game is about 1 – 3 dollars and since some of the sort of cheat you, you will spend about 10 minutes in games because of how much they cost. The place is loud with music and sometimes it is packed, but it is a nice place to come with your family and spend a few dollars on the everything combo!

I visited this place because I went on a school field trip with our 10&8 year old kids. Excellent, new installations. Big, loud place full of children. Pizza was just ok but their customer service was great. Awesome first impression. Pricey.

The idea of this place is awesome, although I wish it were for adults only… that aside the the laser tag and gravity were fun only because I was with a large group of friends, we couldn’t get over how the staff was treating us. It’s as if the staff get used to yelling and bossing children around they seem to want to do the same with adults. They literally YELLED at us, I was not impressed! Upon buying our Gravity tickets, NOBODY told us we needed to be standing in line 15 minutes before our scheduled activity. So here we are 8 people standing in line 10 minutes before our activity and since we weren’t there 5 minutes before they told us we couldn’t go, that we lost our chance as well as our money. Especially because these little 18 yr old kids that work there were speaking to us completely disrespectfully. We had to call a manager, he refunded our money finally after complaining to him for 15 minutes. Oh and beware with laser tag, the boys that work that one will yell and scream at you from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave. It was the worst experience I’ve EVER had at an establishment of this nature. I WILLNEVERGOBACK! The entire staff needs an attitude adjustment, I wish the owners of this place would send people in secretly to see how their staff actually treats people. The only reason I have this place 2 stars is because if for one second we forgot the fact that these«children/staff» were yelling, bitching, scolding us we would actually have fun. I’m not the type to EVER call management on an employee, but I felt the need to do so at Main Event at every activity we did. Absolutely disgusting customer service… Also, I think anyone under 18 shouldn’t be allowed after 11pm.

Two kids, no money. So we came on Monday to get the Everything Package for $ 20 a kid and it worked out. Got drunk on $ 5 drafts and was able to soak my sorrows at a table near a power outlet as I tried not to dwell too much on the absolute meaningless of life and the universe. Time slips away without warning and I’m left here watching all spinning colors and sounds of video game machines and overpriced pizza as children scream from all around me in a horrorscope of both uncontrollable joy and blind terror. Good time. Would recommend. Bring a phone charger.

I love coming here! The price is good for all day unlimited bowling, gravity ropes, and laser tag. But it’s got some cons also. The service is EXTREMELY slow and it’s hard to get the servers attention probably because they’re all over the place. They don’t serve trechas for your drinks which probably doesn’t matter to most people but it bothers me haha idk. Oh and it tends to get really hot in there so dress lightly, try not to bring a jacket. The food is great especially the pizza! It’s expensive but SOGOOD. Try not to bring a purse either if you’re gonna play laser tag or go on gravity ropes. Arcades are damn expensive also. Like a dollar a game which lasts less than 5 minutes. Don’t get me wrong, I love the place, just those few things would be nice if they were improved.

I don’t typically expose myself to places like Main Event Entertainment because I haven’t yet spawned(but one day I might, WATCHOUTWORLD!), and as such, I try to avoid open space massive places populated by screaming children. But I have super awesome nephews and niece through marriage, and they love these kind of places. Plus it was the day after Christmas, so we agreed that coming here right at opening would probably be a nice treat for the kiddos and well might as well acquaint myself with my possible future. So we promptly arrived at opening(to beat any potential rush) and it was gloriously empty. We opted for the all access pass, which seemed like a great deal at the time. .. We managed to sneak in a game of laser tag amongst ourselves wherein I ended up the lowest scorer(woo hoo!), but the walking around in circles was probably beneficial for my old person’s morning circulatory flow? We bowled next and shocker, I am a terrible bowler. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable and by that I mean, somewhat comedic. But everyone survived unscathed and it was nice that Main Event provided a little bowling ball slide for the barely walking niece to participate in the merriment. I should mention that the service wasn’t terrible for us, as it seemed to have been for several other reviewers, but again, it wasn’t very crowded at this point and we didn’t submit any complicated orders or requests. Then came the gravity ropes. I was a slightly adventurous child, always coming home with bumps, bruises, and bleeding wounds, but climbing up to the top of the gravity ropes, I most certainly started feeling queasy and woozy. So yeah, I sheepishly climbed right back down, with my six year old nephew and my sister-in-law, because we have nothing to prove. All I can say is the arcade games are quite expensive. Of course I don’t expect the $.25 and $.50 games of my childhood, but man, $ 3 for one game? I’m sure there’s a huge disincentive for parents to stay here more than a couple of hours because a trip here could easily equate to spending a small fortune. We hopped on to the billiards next, which was of course mostly kids-free. I took this opportunity to order and consume a glass of wine, because anti-oxidants(white wine might indeed have anti-oxidants after all, I read it somewhere!). And by this time, being lunch time, Main Event had started swelling with noticeably more and more people, in that there were winding lines at the cashier line. We decided to mosey on out before things got too sticky and rowdy and overall, it wasn’t completely terrible. Not that I would ever voluntarily come here again without my own hyper child to throw into the mix.

Will never come back. Everything had a 2 hour wait. Decided to play a few video games instead and some games were $ 3 for one play. Beer was hot, pizza was cold, staff was rude and unknowing. Would rather drive to San Antonio and go to D&B then ever come back to this place again.

We had a blast at this place but there were some pros and cons to this all in one gaming place. Our group of 6 arrived around 6pm on Monday and it took us almost 2 hours just to get through the first initial line to receive wrist bands which totally sucked. We then had to place our names on a wait list for a bowling lane. After spending all that time in line we once again had to go to another counter and wait in line to be placed on the wait list for laser tag and the gravity ropes. By this time we were already tired of the lines so In the mean time we ate some food which was actually pretty good for a place like this. After an hour of waiting from the time we placed our names on the wait list for bowling, our buzzer thing finally went off. FINALLY!!! Bowling was awesome!!! We had a great time. The little kiosk to start the games had a cool little feature where you can take a selfie and place it up on the screen next to your score card. I also liked the fact that you could order anything on the menu from your bowling area. After our hour was up we went to laser tag. It was fun and it had a pretty large area to run and hide. Wait, NORUNNING!!! Haha… How do you play laser tag without running, really? Anyways, it’s two stories and we had a great time working up a sweat. Scores are given to you at the end to rate against your buddies. After laser tag we had to wait another HOUR for the gravity ropes. By far this was my favorite. Not sure about others but I challenged myself by not using my hands which made it much more fun. It felt like I was on American ninja warrior!!! Until I looked back and saw a little 6 year old kid telling me to hurry up. Overall it was a great time. I know it’s new so they are probably working out all the kinks but the only downer was all the waiting and standing in line. If you plan on going here make sure you wear some comfy standing shoes.
