We use take out a few times a month. the meat and sauce both are awesome and the customer service is always great.
The bad reviews may just be as the result of everyone’s different tastes in BBQ.
I’ve never had a bad experience at 13^th street in Ladonia.

Huge disappointment in choosing to have dinner here. Coming from the northeast, I was looking forward to southern bbg. The smell from the smoker was so enticing. Couldn’t decide what to have so ordered the combo platter: 2 dry pork chops albeit with a nice smoke ring. No knife for the chops, so took 2 bites caveman style. Very little meat on the ribs, also dry. Tried saturating the chopped pork with sauce but could not help the dry meat. Maybe a pan of water would help inside the smoker. Beans were bland; vinegar based cole slaw had nice cabbage texture, unremarkable flavor; potato salad… dry, no flavor. Lots of leftovers. Not sure why I bothered to take them home.

Only been here twice. Once was for a scrambled dog that was decent and the second time was for a plate of ribs that was above average.
