Overall not a bad place for what it is. Everything is fried and the service is friendly enough. The décor and ambience is pretty nice. Several TVs which I don’t care for but most people seem to. It’s not a bad place but will unlikely be one I return to.

Been here on two separate occasions. And both times I got the popcorn shrimp and catfish combo. The food was top level and the service was impeccable. I intend on frequenting this location at every opportunity. Ask for extra hush puppies!

Hands down the best hush puppies I have ever had. Patrice was our server and very attentive. The menu is short but when you do something that well… who needs more. The catfish was excellent. I am not a fan of peel and eat shrimp BUT these are so good I intend on having it again on our next dinner there. For fresh seafood, the price is reasonable. It will become a family favorite go to!!!

Ezell’s Catfish Cabin in Phenix City was on point. There is another location over the border in Columbus, GA, and I can’t wait to try it. Our waitress got to the table with steaming hot hushpuppies and they were some of the best hushpuppies I have ever tried! Outstanding and you are able to have them replenished! Both myself and the hubby got the catfish filets and they were SO good. Perfectly battered and fried. We had the collard greens as a side and they were also nicely seasoned and perfectly made. The catfish filets were not the ¨size of fish sticks¨, in fact, they were were three normal sized filets, which I devoured. I haven’t tried the appetizers yet, but the fried pickles are calling my name. The fried shrimp also looked amazing. They also have desserts – the waitress kept telling us about the peach cobbler. I think I will take advantage of the M-Thurs $ 6.99 select entrée dinners and try some appetizers and sneak in a dessert in the future! Ezell’s was definitely worth it. Darn good catfish and a nice family environment.

Really, well done. The catfish was perfect, the shrimp was actually clean. Fried tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had. You don’t feel rushed, the wait staff is very nice. Price isn’t bad for seafood either.

There is a huge difference between this location and the one in Columbus. First off, for $ 10.99 I didn’t expect catfish filets the size of fish sticks! I would’ve been better off going to Shark’s! Then, the taste of the food was subpar. We were highly disappointed. From now on if we want to eat out for fish we’ll make the drive to the Columbus location or just bite the bullet and go to Shark’s. A friend warned us that this location sucks and that we should drive the extra miles to the other. However, we decided to give them a chance anyway. Big mistake! You’ll be better off getting some Gorton’s fish filets from the grocery store!

ordered food to go. wasn’t impressed. she repeated my order to me when I picked it up so I didn’t think to check it(dumb me). my husband had blackened catfish. it was okay. I hate the shrimp and chicken tenders. food was alright. we will give it another try, the one in Columbus this time.

This place has been busy since the day it opened. I haven’t been to the one in Columbus, but I’m told they’re similar. The food here was great. I had the Fried Catfish, which was very, very good. The Fried Pickles are a must have appetizer. The have a good staff and the kids love going here for the fun of the experience. Its one of the few good places to eat in Phenix City outside of your normal fast food chains.
