Academy Cafe

on weekend mornings, try brunch at the Academy café at the Ave of the Arts Hilton-​Doubletree. May be pricey, but it’s also Pretty Darn Good! Academy Café has plenty of accessible all-​you-​can-​devour options, with delicious scrambled eggs, french toast, muffins, etc. and desserts. Their service is impeccable and worth the price of admission, which is roughly $ 17. I do miss their dinners, but this facility is no longer open during evenings except for special events/​circumstances. I believe they hope to someday reopen for regular dinner if demand warrants it, but for now the demand is funnelled into the lobby bar, which stays busy. The lobby bar, for its own right, will get good reviews from me later, but I won’t frequent the bar like I did the Academy Café because it doesn’t have the same special dinner excitement.
