Counter sales staff were lazy, sleepy, high or otherwise Stupid. I will never return. A slap in the face of adidas. Avoid this dump

I went there to buy a Sixers hat to support my team which is currently the worst team in the NBA, but has a plan. Adidas has the NBA licensing contract so you would think that the Adidas store in Phila would have a 76ers hat. Nope! They had tons of Brooklyn Nets shirts, shorts and apparel, but no Sixers hat. How pathetic.

I love this store! On Friday, January 4th(2013), before closing I came in to check out the goods. I made a decent purchase but forgot my wallet and scarf in the store. The two cuties working; a guy with long hair partially braided and a girl with long straight black hair, were AWESOME! They remembered the name of the hotel we were staying at from a previous conversation and tracked us down to let us know they secured my stuff. We came back Saturday morning(the 5th) and they were both working again. Thanks guys! You rock! Of course I had to buy a couple more things after retrieving my stuff. I’m addicted to Adidas and cool employees at the Adidas store make it that much better. One love.

Yet another Philly business where the salespeople think their sh! t doesn’t stink. Yeah, I felt the same way when I was twelve but I grew out of it. It’s Adidas clothing. Get a grip.

This store on South Street is wack. I love Adidas as much as the next person but the reason I gave it one star was for the customer service. I walked in hoping to come out of the store with a few track jackets but left empty handed because I was so annoyed at how rude the salespeople were. They didn’t even welcome and greet me into their store. They just stood around, looked«busy» and did not assist me in trying to get a size for me or check if they had my size in the stockroom. WACKNESS!

Recently, I was washing my hands in the Mens Room at Webster Hall in New York, and I said to myself, «This looks a lot like the Adidas store.» Yes, save for urinals filled with ice and glow sticks, Adidas has really outdone themselves with this well-designed space using fermica squares to display their three-striped glory. At night, there’s neon and purple lighting, which always make shoe buying a rave-ing good time, especially when it comes to seeing what color is what. I’m being a jerk. This store is very cool, and frequently has a proper live DJ — like many Philly boutiques. Like its Puma sister on Walnut, I’ve always found the clothes too be way too Euro-trashy, and the shoes to be at premium costs. Out of towners love it, and I’m always down to browse. But you won’t see me carrying too many blue flowered bags out of here, though I always have three pairs of Stan Smiths size 12 on deck for whatever may come.

The Adidas boutique has really set itself up for success here at it’s South St. location. The vibe they put out can be felt from across the street and seems to draw consumers in like magnet. While the clothes here are not exactly my style, I can appreciate what they do have and what they offer for those who do wear it. They have a nice selection of the Adidas ‘warm-up’ jackets, t-shirts and shoes. If you catch it at the right time you can get some great deals on the footwear…50% off at times! Adidas is worth a stop in next time you are on South St.
