While I really appreciated the included therapeutic massage at the end of each visit(Michelle, the massage therapist, is totally kick-ass) and the variety of techniques and machines available, the doctor himself was just too much for me and the gal at the front desk seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else in the world. On multiple occasions Dr. Craig Valarik took advantage of my prone and immobile state on the table to talk to me about scientology. Offensive and completely unprofessional. On one memorable occasion, he ranted about the evils of mental health care(not knowing that I was, at the time, a counseling student). Also, at one point, he tried to sell me on some hokey weight loss cleanse program. Which, by the way, is completely unrelated to the initial reason for my visit(car accident). The doctor, whose name I honestly cannot remember, strung me along and kept me coming back multiple times a week even after I was feeling better. In hindsight, knowing good chiropractic care now, it was unnecessary. I decreased the frequency of my visits. I finally quit going for good after he placed a couple calls to me from his personal cell phone and left me voicemails asking me where I’d been. Nope. No, thank you. Admittedly, I haven’t been here in a few years. The name on the(weird, sketchy) website is unfamiliar to me, so perhaps it’s under new management. After I got totally creeped out, I started going to Atlas Chiropractic in Queen Village. I highly recommend it. Tempted to give more stars only because Michelle is fabulous. But everything else was horrifying.

Their massage therapist is very good. Very skilled, and does a really really good deep tissue massage! Definitely good for sore muscles and for restorative bodywork. I was impressed with how quickly they got back to me when I called about an appointment. The chiropractor seems very knowledgeable and seems very caring. I will be back at some other point for a chiropractic adjustment and will update my review then!

Just had massage from Michelle today. She was great. One of the best massages I’ve had. My lower back has been sore and I walked out of there pain free.

Ask for Michelle. She gives the best therapeutic massages in Philadelphia. She focuses on the trigger points(acupressure points), and you will feel so much better once you stand up at the end of the massage.
