I must say that since your company has come to Phila I’ve enjoyed not just the supplies but the service of the staff. Your staff are very knowledgeable and friendly as well warm feels like you are hanging with old friends. I’ve particularly liked the service of Jarred his knowledge of firearms as well as various equipment in the store is outstanding. He will not only fit with the right firearms but also equipment on a duty rig. I’ve spent 20 years in the restaurant business before I’ve become a cop and the one thing I noticed in that line of work was the care to details. I must say I see nothing but caring of details from Jarred and it’s a rare gem these days in all walks of life. I strongly wished we had more people like Jarred as well as the rest of your staff you all should be proud for picking this group of people to represent your company. Keith

Today was my first and last visit to this facility. I work over night so it’s hard for me to make store hours so I camped out in the parking lot after work for 3 hours to wait for the store to open before heading home to Jersey because I needed additional uniform items. I expressed to the the gentleman in there I was looking for a particular item I couldn’t find in the store. He stated it was not in the store and needed to be ordered. I waited. I then asked him can I order it here? He responded yes and walked away. I waited. He came back saw me still standing there and at no point instructed me on how, where, or who I had to talk to to place the order. Thanks! 3 hours waiting for store to open to have a terrible first and last experience!

Shopped at Alantical Tactical the Philadelphia location and the staff were pleasant and extremely helpful, expecially Heather who made sure that everything l needed was available and met the department’s criteria. Excellent job.

Top notch service. The place is always very clean and organized. Best prices on firearms for law enforcement. I won’t shop anywhere else. This is the place to go.

I don’t want to say it’s the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, but they are definitely in the top 5. The brunette with the bobbed hair seemed utterly annoyed by my attempt to purchase something. Gee, sorry to bother you. Skip this place.

oddly enough, having lived in philadelphia all my life and being an avid gun owner, i’d never heard of atlantic tactical until last year. apparently its the fav spot to purchase firearms for a few friends of mine but ironically enough, a few other friends had bad experiences here with a cocky salesperson so i pretty much decided not to even try it because there are so many alternatives. so, one day i decided to just browse their website and i saw they had an item available for pre-​order that i wanted and their price was super low so i called their number which i didnt realize actually put me through to their main location in new cumberland, pa. i was greeted by a gentleman named hilton who was super helpful. he informed me that i could simply pre-​order my item on the phone and just pick it up at the philly location when it became available. man, does it get any easier than that? nope, sure doesnt.
because hilton was so friendly, i explained to him that i’d heard alot of negative things about a particular salesperson at the philly location and i told him i really wanted to limit my dealing with the store itself and he understood that. so, weeks later, my item finally came in and i had to physically go to the store to pick it up. the store is pretty big as far as gun shops go. they carry alot of apparel and accessories. prices are above average on most items. i wouldnt shop there for much else. when i got to the counter i was greeted by a friendly young lady who gave me some paperwork to fill out while i waited for jarrod to finish with another customer. when jarrod was done, he called my name and greeted me. he gave me more paperwork to fill out and engaged us in idle chit chat as i did so. i cant say i experienced any of the negativity that others i know have at his store. the process was straightforward and fast. i dont have any complaints whatsoever. i will definitely shop here for certain items due to the fact that their prices are extremely low on those specific items. due to their location and somewhat high prices i cant really give them a 5 star rating as it may not be the best option for everyone. they also have certain requirements in order to purchase certain items there. theyre okay with me.

The 3 staff members that helped me today were extremely helpful and polite. I could not have asked for better experience. Thank you.

I stopped here on a whim while driving through the area. The parking lot is chaotic, but inside I found a great selection of supplies, gear, apparel, and other random stuff. If rather buy in person than offline, because I like to actually see and touch the products. I ended up buying a Velcro trouser belt and the prices were very reasonable. I’d come back if I were in the area. Living in Virginia, I declined the mailing list — but it was offered to me. The girl at checkout was friendly — I had a good experience.

Please be aware that if you place an order, your credit card will be charged and we place your order into a Back Order status. Orders will ship in a first come first served basis.
I contacted them multiple times and encouraged them to stop charging for items they dont have. I got «lip service» each time and gave up.
There are plenty of reputable on-​line dealers out there that care about the customer.

I left a review about this store seven months ago, which was not a positive one. I have been in contact with with management since my review. I thought it was nice that they reached out to me and tried rectify the problem. They wanted to send me a gift card, but I declined.
Today 07−26−13 I thought I would give them a second chance. Everything I said in my previous review still stands true. This time I was with two other officers to purchase items that were needed. This time I’m fine with this store.
The same employee that I had the issue with last time still works there.
His name is Bob, he has a mustache and glasses and appears to be in his early 50’s. The man may be the most rude, ignorant, and arrogant person I’ve ever dealt with.
One of my fellow employees stated he had the same issues with this man. He said he is done with this store as well. If anyone reads this. Go up to Walker Street they don’t have the best prices, but the greet you when you walk in and ask if you need any help. They also don’t sigh when you ask for assistance.

They have a VERY low standard for customer service on their website. Their website listed 9 mm ammo for sale at a good price and allowed me to purchase 500 rounds. It made no mention that it was a heavily back ordered product. Although I’m not surprised given the current ammo shortages nationwide, Atlantic Tactical did not mention the back order at checkout, nor did they ever send me an email notice of a back order. They simply took my money, then I never heard from them again for 1.5 months. Using the website’s «track my order feature» simply showed my order as pending. When I called to cancel, she then informed me it was back ordered and did cancel my order and refund my money at my request. Very poor customer service though to take customers’ money and never notify them of the backorder, or even apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. Nope, she refunded my order and hung up immediately, no apology for the delay. Folks at this store should take a customer service 101 course. I won’t be shopping here again and I do not recommend you do either.
