Very friendly. Furniture a little worn. Nice dinner since we were going business class. Enjoyed the nice wines. Employees very friendly. Only thing I didn’t like was that we could not carry out our food from the dining room. All of our stuff was already on chairs in the lounge. Oh well. Nothing else to complain about. Would stay here again for sure. Loved it.

Very impressive considering BA’s limited presence in PHL. They offer the standard lounge treatments — free wifi, liquor, and lunch. They have a friendly desk attendant. They aren’t afraid you might walk out with too many snack bars(unlike an experience I had elsewhere). You can get an entire meal if you’d like, or you can option for the on-flight meal. I think you could probably do both if you really wanted. Downside — while the seats are comfortable, I had trouble finding open outlets. They had power strips run from the outlets, but it was difficult to access if someone was already in their spot.

This is my first time visiting the BA lounge, but it is quite nice from an ambiance perspective. It’s quiet, the alcohol and snack selection is quite good, but the food is very much lacking. I was disappointed after having booked a sleeper class ticket that my dinner option in the lounge would be limited to mediocre finger foods. Also, there are VERYFEW outlets, which resulted in me having to go on a hunt and site by the booze bar, one of the busier parts of the lounge. All in all, it’s still far better than other domestic lounges, but could be improved quite dramatically with relatively little effort.

A great lounge. It only opens at 1600 so if you are in the area prior to that head down past the BA lounge and take the lifts upstairs to the US Envoy lounge. The BA Lounge is small, but nicely decorated and comfortable. There are coffee/alcohol/juice bars and small packaged food options in the main lounge. At 1630 the restaurant opens however and business class passengers can eat for free. There is a full dinner buffet designed so you can eat before your trip and sleep on the way to London on your long-hual since it is so short. The food was really good and had a big variety — including hot options, cold salads, and dessert. There was also a chef tended station which on the night I went was Indian dosas. This lounge if for the dinner alone is really worth a detour. The only negative, and it seems to be a BA theme, is lack of electric outlets. At least Club World seats have electric outlets and 2USB ports so having your battery drained here isn’t a long-term problem.

The SETTING: Weekly Thursday afternoon visits here for the past 3 months The VIBE: 2.5 Stars — I’m a bit surprised with how many reviewers liked the vibe here! It’s small and the power outlets are only in one part of the lounge, making charging a veritable nightmare. Obviously I’m there at the worst possible time with all of the other Exec Platinum’s so we all have the same mindset, but I’m sure the investment would be minimal to add outlets… The furniture is modern and comfortable, but its limited size means only one unisex restroom(and one handicapped) and no designated quiet areas. The SERVICE: 4.5 Stars — Kudos to the staff here! They are extremely helpful with flight changes, standby requests, and overall friendliness. They keep the lounge very clean. The FOOD: 4 Stars(Free quality booze!), 2 Stars(everything else) — Free liquor in domestic lounges is very rare these days, so that is a huge plus if you need a sleeping primer for the flight home. That being said, I really wish for something, anything, other then veggie stix and cruddy tuna salad sandwiches. If you like convenient unhealthy options, there are plenty of bagged chips and cookies, but no cooked options at all, even for sale. The Bottom Line — If you have complimentary entry(via Amex Plat), I encourage using this for a couple quick cocktails and that’s it. If your delay/layover is longer than 1.5 hours, I would use of the rentable suites near Terminal B.

I admit, it’s weird to review an airport lounge. Just wanted to acknowledge that. With that said, like many previous reviewers said, this is a really nice lounge for the US. Free booze, contemporary décor, and pretty good food… for a lounge, not for le bec fin ;) An all-around great experience!

This places is what most US clubs are not: modern and clean. This BA lounge is shared with the Admirals club so even domestic travelers can enjoy enjoy it. This BA lounge is similar to layout as other BA lounges with its open-kitchen/snack area layout.

This lounge is typically overcrowded with tired, hungry travelers but I always appreciate how clean and well-staffed it is along with the free goodies and free WiFi.

The BA Club Lounge in Philadelphia’s Terminal A is a relatively small yet efficient space with lots of amenities, from complimentary WiFi(get a password at the entrance) and complimentary alcoholic beverages as well as snacks. A separate partition serves a full complimentary dinner before flight. The entryway is just steps from the TSA gauntlet, so you could even wait to put yourself together at the lounge. Although small, it is efficient and courteous, besides keeping you away from the loud masses obsessively talking about the Phillies’ latest loss this season, taking place in the coach areas. Every few minutes, uniformed servers go around offering sliders, fruit glazed with Grand Marnier, and other sundry items. Makes US flag carrier lounges seem quite plebeian…
