There’s a $ 5 cover and a $ 20 minimum for credit cards. Bartenders are gross with bad attitudes. This place is just hella ratchet. Just walk down to Morgan’s Pier…

Great view of the river and bridge. Drink specials are pretty good. Their big bucket drink is pretty nice and better then buying 2 – 3 drinks. However– mine wasn’t that strong. Dance floor and outside area are nice but can get crowded. Music selection is nice but seems to play on repeat every hour or so. I like the private walkway area by the side of the stage. Nice little escape from the noise. I didn’t get the food so I can’t comment on that.

The scenery was nice but they need better music. The drinks were weak and overpriced.

I had a birthday open bar here this past weekend and booking it through one of the girls over the phone was a pleasant experience, she was super friendly and helpful. When I got to the actual bar on Saturday, the girls in the front were super catty to my friends and when one of them didn’t want to do open bar and just pay cover she rolled her eyes and gave her attitude. UMWHAT? I brought about 35 people to their open bar that’s almost a thousand dollars including tip I’m bringing to their venue, no need to be catty. They seemed young, so maybe they’re just immature but that’s no excuse for the attitude. The bartenders at the bar we posted up all night were also catty until I started tipping them $ 5 a drink I got. I expected friendlier services and for people to be more helpful.

This isn’t the best bar in Philly but it’s overlooking the river and I always have a great time with my friends. We always do an open bar here, you can set one up through their website. $ 25 for a 3 hour open bar? Why not?! It’s only a $ 1 charge to add red bull and you usually get a free app coupon and $ 20 «Cav’s Cash» you can use the same night. Great deals!!! The DJ is usually the typical Top 40, EDM, Boy Band, Hip Hop Music. No complaints there. My friends and I just love going here to get drunk within 3 hours and dance a lot. The best night to go is definitely Saturday nights. We typically go on Saturday nights but this past weekend, we did Friday night. It wasn’t as crowded. Which I guess is good. The bathrooms are medicore and very hot and usually there’s a line past midnight. But, you get what you pay for.

Workers must get paid to be rude on spite. 10 – 15 minute wait everytime you shimmy your way up to get a drink. And absolutely the grossest crowd I have come in contact with in Philly. Seriously walk down the street to Morgan’s Pier. Have been to both 3+ times and the crowd is much better and the works a bit friendlier!!!

No room to stand at all, and the security was very, very pushy. If you want to dance here on a Saturday night, there will not even be close to enough room. A security guy was pushing me around when I was completely sober(designated driver), instead of telling me where the line for the bathroom was supposed to be. there were also no signs, so there is no way that I would know. Very weak and tacky, Cav’s riverdeck. I won’t be coming back.

I lost my phone while I was here and the staff was super helpful and patient and went out do their way to help me find it. By the strike of a miracle, I ended up finding it when they let me back in after closing. Thanks so much!

Just went there on for my 26th birthday, had a great time with a lot of friends, the bartender Reed was providing great service to us all night. The location is great, and the ambiance is pretty sweet especially with views of the lit up bridge. I got there early so we could establish space before it got crowded, and it definitely allowed us to enjoy our time to the fullest, I recommend this for a great time!

Had so much fun!!! Best birthday ever! Everyone there was nice and made me feel special! Security at the door was professional and the bartender was funny and cool! My girlfriend is already planning her birthday there next month!

Listen, I know your bouncers don’t have higher than a 5th grade education but that doesn’t excuse the rude and barbaric behavior they showed to us tonight. My friend has an out of state(NH) drivers license but instead of scanning it if they had any doubts about its legitimacy, they just said«No.» When we tried to get other bouncers to look at it, they either ignored us or just said no and that they couldn’t help us because they didn’t want to question the first bouncer. What kind of legitimate alcohol-serving establishment doesn’t have a scanner or another way to verify IDs? They were extremely dismissive and hostile so we demanded to speak to a manager. The manager was just as stupid as he told us to try again next week(which makes no sense) but he finally let us, not without the original bouncers telling us to «check our attitudes» and«you’re lucky we let you in.» we will never be coming here again.

I attended the Roots Picnic at Penns Landing. It’s a 12 hour concert and they had a rule of no re entry back into the park after your ticket is scanned. Most people started leaving half way through the concert after getting tired of standing in the 90 degree heat with no seating and headed here. We couldn’t see the performers(which was fine cause you really couldn’t see them at the concert anyway) but you were still able to enjoy the music at this outdoor bar. We sat at a table by the water, ate, and enjoyed the rest of the concert. Food was mediocre, service was slow, but hearing the concert we paid for here was awesome.

Oh dive bar in the river. Circa 1980s. Outdated. Strange crowd. Outdoor space thought which is in good weather.

First off let me write full disclosure that I have only been here for lunch and cannot comment on the night life aspect. Ate on the deck during a cool fall day. Very spread out and spacious. We took the kids and it seemed to work out cause the two year old could run around a bit without interfering with other tables. We ended up getting the nachos… the massive ones which were all that was needed. Descent but huge. Great view of the sun setting. Beer list is mainly bottles and nothing fancy. Great view and close to the pier music venue.

Ok so I came here to celebrate my younger friends 21st b’day, they put you on a party list and you get«open bar» with a $ 10 cover for 2 hours. Of course no too shelf liquor and the drinks they do provide are extremely watered down. I was there for 3hrs and here is my experience: Young crowd with I expected, everyone was early to mid 20s, most people put no effort into they attire. The bartenders were rude and inattentive, i first thought it was because we had open bar wristbands but quickly realized when I saw others that this was across the board. The area where you could have space to yourself you could barely hear the music and the bartenders were especially miserable, even as paying customers wanting to order shots. There is a $ 20 minimum for credit cards and I witnessed someone getting thrown out for arguing with that. The bathroom was surprisingly clean towards the end of the night, but the attendant is serious about her job I witnessed her hollering at a drink patron to fish her beer bottle out of the toilet… Classic. Also durning my time escorting a drunk friend to the restroom I witnessed a brawl outside were glass was shattered. I must say the security is pretty attentive as they darted to contain the situation. I would hate to be security in a night club they are pretty stern as part of their job but once they realize you are not a belligerent drink they can be pretty friendly and laugh along with you. There are def some downsides but I wasn’t going in expecting much, I can’t say I was dying to go it was more for the celebratory aspect of things why I stepped foot in there, I can’t say honestly that I would go back by choice. But it served it’s purpose although I think the pregaming got the birthday girl right more than those watered down drinks.

I went on a weeknight. This might be why my review is so good. I booked a work party for a Weds night. The party planner was nice and friendly, she gave us a good special and comped me for free drinks the entire night. We got $ 1 beers and $ 1 mixed drinks, which was fantastic. It was pouring for most of the night, but the staff was friendly. Both bartenders we had were nice. A little over 30 of my coworkers showed up. They had a good DJ, an adult sized moon bounce and a pool on the deck itself. The crowd was fine, a little rowdy, but their excellent security kept it under control. My only gripe was the food situation, I just wish their kitchen stayed open later. I will gladly book seasonal work parties here, especially after our awful time at Morgan’s Pier.

This place is really hit or miss depending on your mood for the night. Of course the location is nice overlooking the water and the bridge. Perfect for a summer night. But everyone in the area has that mentality, so in the summer, this place gets packed. And particularly with not so classy large groups of underdressed belligerently drunk friends. There’s a $ 5 cover and drinks are pretty cheap. Cavs is really big too so you can reasonably find some place to stand with your friends. The music is Top 40 so gets the crowd going which I like. IIf you’re in that type of mood, go ahead but it’s not my go-to unless someone is really pushing me to go.

Having been at this location when it was owned by KatManDu, I was interested to see how it changed. It was a beautiful night on the Delaware. The weather was warm with a light breeze coming into the deck from the river. We were here for a Unilocal Elite party and the place was packed. Before the crowd arrived we had the opportunity to sit at the back outside bar and talk with some of the employees, both new and old, and enjoy the view of the NJ shoreline. Of course, after a long drive it was good to knock back a few tall cold ones. Things have not changed dramatically. The one thing that detracted from the visual appeal were the many old deck pilings sticking up above the water line beyond the deck. I’m not sure if the deck stretched out further at one point. Even so, one day they should trim the pilings to below the surface and mark them out to avoid having boats run into them. The atmosphere is still electric, the food is still good, and the place was decked out for summer. I can only imagine that it gets crazy there on Friday and Saturday nights, but the 4 bars seem to be enough to accommodate a packed house. Fortunately for us, Arlene lost her smart phone in the ladies room, but it was turned in to the lost and found.

This place was pretty cool! I went for the Dance Party on the Delaware event and I had a blast. The event was on a Tuesday, so I imagine this bar on Friday/Saturdays is absolutely packed, but I loved the vibe. Very beachy and made me wanna sip margaritas in my bathing suit all day. They had corn hole and pretty great 90s throwbacks playing, which I loved. Drinks were pretty great(only bottled beer cause they couldn’t keep the kegs cold enough outside, but their bottle selection was top notch). Food was typical, burgers, fries, wings. But i enjoyed it. The fries with jalapenos and onions were the best. I’d like to come back to this bar on a day when it’s not just a Unilocal event. Really had fun though!
