Too early to rate it. I just rented a unit the other day. It is the first time I have ever rented a storage unit. The staff was very accommodating and professional. Ron explained everything very well. The place is clean and well organized. I feel comfortable putting my furniture and other things there. I just recently moved and didn’t have enough room this time around. I will check back with Unilocal later to update my comments.

DO NOT rent from this place. For multiple reasons:
1. They will suck you in with their low rates
2. Once your stuff is in there, they will raise the rates every 4 – 6 months
3. When you attempt to close your unit, you will not be able to reach them by phone, e-​mail, or any other means. T
4. They will continue to bill you even though you have vacated the unit
5. The most rude local office staff and corporate call center, neither of which is helpful

The end of March, I received a call from John, a manager at Devon Self Storage informing me that he was closing my account because I had moved out of my unit. Imagine my surprise because I had not moved out of my unit. It was after their business hours when I received this message. I was in a terrible state. I was across the country and unable to do anything about it. I couldn’t imagine how someone could have broken into my unit and cleaned it out. I couldn’t sleep that night because I was so upset. My personal belongings, everything gone… stolen. I cried myself to sleep.
I informed friends and family in the city to check in with the facility in person for me. I was looking into flight information as i telephoned the facility again. No one returned my frantic calls from the night before. Finally, the woman who answered the phone said John, the manager, was not there. I told her about his call and asked if she would check my unit number again. She came back on the line to tell me John had erred and the unit next to mine was empty. I was so relieved, I cried again.
They reduced the rental fee of $ 144.00 by $ 20.00 for my troubles the next month. WOW
No one ever returned my calls, no response to the emails sent. Still.
