I know my family has came here for all of our airfare needs way before the internet ticketing age. Always great service, we always go to Lelly who is very detailed and always finds the best deals.

Aileen was hands down the savior of my honeymoon! My now husband and I were planning a trip to Thailand for about 10 months. We did months and months of research, dozens of emails back and forth with Aileen picking the best hotels in the best areas all throughout the country. Aileen gave us high medium and low end options, and never pushed any on us. She always offered to get us honeymoon packages whenever available. Fast forward to 3 days before our wedding, we learn of a military coup in Thailand, and after many tears (mostly by me) decide to cancel our trip! Luckily, Aileen had encouraged us to book travel insurance through an agency she works through frequently. After canceling, Aileen worked with us for basically 48 hours straight to rebook a trip to Bali & Tokyo for our honeymoon. I don’t think she worked with anyone else on those two days. She got us on new flights, found us new hotels and transportation and made what could have been a HUGE disaster in to a small little blip in our planning. She was really outstanding in making sure everything was set up and confirmed so that we did not have to worry about things right before our big day. During our trip, everything went great! If we ever travel to Asia again, we will definitely be using Aileen and Discover Travel!

You will not be disappointed. They do honest work and aren’t looking to rip people off. Aileen is awesome.

I normally don’t use travel agents at all — but I was losing patience trying to find flights that matched with my mother coming from Tampa and us going over to Sicily on the same transatlantic flight and connecting flight together into Palermo and then back from Catania. It just wasn’t working for me so I decided to turn to a professional to coordinate this complicated itinerary.
After a short phone call and an email, they emailed me back several options that were pretty much exactly what I was looking for, at a price that seemed to match up with what I saw on the internet. Booking was fast and easy and I was able to email in or fax in my documentation. The best part about using a travel agent is that they can hold the reservations for 48 hours while you get it together.
I would use Discover Travel again because they were so easy to work with.

I use Discover Travel to help book a vacation in China in three different cities for my family and myself. Overall I am very disappointed by my experience here. I see the other reviews and they all mention the travel agent Aileen who was not the one that I worked with. So maybe your experience will depend on which travel agent you have.
I am a Cantonese speaker and can’t understand Mandarin or read Chinese. As a result I was very adamant that the tour guides that we book should speak Cantonese. The travel agent I worked with assured that was not a problem. If I was told this was an issue, then I could have made an informed decision on whether to try and book an English tour guide or just find a private tour guide. We couldn’t understand any useful historical information that the tour guide give as well as basic instructions on let’s say, tonight is the night you need to pack up because we’re moving to a different hotel tomorrow. It completely ruined our vacation.
I emailed my travel agent mid way through to inform her that the tour guide was not speaking Cantonese. I received responses that she talked to the tour agency and I would be given a Cantonese tour guide. it never happened. I’m not sure which end the problem resides in but overall it doesn’t really matter to me. If a travel agent assumes that so and so is not going to be a problem even though she has no control or knowledge of it, then there’s really no point in relying on her. It was especially upsetting since it took effort and money to coordinate 2+ weeks off for myself and 5 other people in my family. We will probably never have an opportunity to go on such a vacation again.

Yes, agreed. Aileen and Discover Travel are really terrific. She’s helped me book several trips to Asia. Very helpful and terrific with details.

Aileen is the best travel agent period. She knows how to get me that last minute ticket for business at a reasonable price and a bulkhead seat without some crazy routing. Most of her business is by word of mouth. I have been using Discover Travel for fifteen years and running.

Been doing business with Discover Travel for over 15 years. Aileen and Joseph and their team always come through with the best accomdations. I am always confident the itinerary is going to work.

There are nor reviews for this place but mine… Let me tell you that Aileen is the best. I am going to the Maldives and she took care of everything for me. I am quite busy and just did not have the time to search for flights, hotel stays, all inclusive etc. etc. I just gave her my info, my price range and said go to work. In less than two days she came up with several options for me. I recommend going there.
