Dominican Beauty Salon

I like the way the hairdressers there make my hair look. I been going there for 3 yrs. They r nice and hard wrking women. u come out from there looking like a star! Sometimes they r rude cause alot ppl r very rude to them cause they dont know english!

I was taking my daughter to another salon and always a problem with getting an appointment. Also her previous hairstylist never got there until 11 am… my whole day was always ruined due to the stylist talked alot and stopped alot so it took extra long to for my baby to get her completed. I decided to take her to a Dominican salon because I heard they were great with doing natural hair… I do not know the stylist name… but she was great. We got there around 11:40 and was out by 1pm… She will be going back for her 3^rd time… we have found a great place!

I would give this place a zero but it’s not an option. I first called Maria’s to get a price for Relaxers last Sat, specifically told her, I wanted to come in next Sat (today) to get a relaxer, how much. She responded «$ 45». I said I’ll be there. I came in & requested the relaxer, something told me to ask how much plus my man was paying for it. Maria responses $ 55 so I go in about giving wrong info over the phn & start calling other Dominican salon just to find out that they all charge the same price smh. I’m not used to this, I’m from NY where you can go to any Dominican salon & pay $ 35 for a relaxer. This was very hard for me to stomach. At least now I know & will never get a relaxer in PA again. They making a killing. Wash & set w/​deep condition is $ 20 in NYC.
I walked out of Maria’s because I called this salon on Leigh. The person that took my call said relaxers are $ 45. I said I’m coming now. I get here & now they telling me $ 55. I’m going back & forth w/​them trying to figure out what makes my hair 55 opposed to 45. They had no answer for my question. I told the girl on the phn I had shoulder length hair. I did not like their additudes or their demeanor. I walked out of there & went back to Maria’s.
