This is part of my ritual when I come back home from LA — along with my Wawa stop. 99% of the time, I’ve come here straight from a red-eye flight with red eyes, anywhere from 5−7am. Usually, I am the only customer there sometimes, a few early birds will crawl in — but there’s no wait time. I always order a half dozen to go wtih a regular size coffee. I love them all. All of them are favorites but one that is always near and dear to me is the old fashion plain donut. No other donut place in this world can mimic this taste. Munchkins(donut holes) can be bought in boxes(48 pieces, 96 pieces, etc) — when I was growing up, these were usually served at birthday parties or school parties I remember. Their bagels — super soft and chewy — just the way I like ‘em. Their breakfast sandwiches — all so very good. Although, the croissant sandwiches are a bit on the oily side. But eat one of these with a cup of joe on a fall or winter morning — ahhh, you feel like you are in the city. Their iced drinks — sweet & refreshing. There isn’t one thing on the DD menu that isn’t ridiculously addicting. This location is small. You pick up and you leave. Small parking lot. Have I been to better Dunkin Donuts? Sure, but I don’t have the heart to give any DD anything less than a 4. Peep the pix. Note: Honestly, I’m not a donut person, but I will forever be a DD lifer. Ask me if you have questions or are confused.
