Brian K is the best PT I have dealt with, and I have been through several in Philly and New York. He has extraordinary training. His approach is totally strategic. This means he knows when a symptom is a reflection of some other issue, and focuses on the source. Brian listens, intelligently interprets what you tell him, quickly narrows his diagnosis with a few competent probes, and gets to work with a plan. He has both a profound knowledge of anatomy and an experienced appreciation of the individual, so his treatment is tailored, efficient, and effective. Brian always knows exactly what he needs to do next to make you better. But he also emphasizes building strength and learning better ways to self-​treat to stay healthy. If you have had PT you may know that lesser PTs waste time massaging the pain away, which does not actually fix anything and runs up the bill. That is not Brian. He delivers. I have been through two periods of treatment with him a year apart. First he fixed my elbow. I had been afraid it would never stop aching, but once he got it unkinked he taught me exercises to keep it that way. Then I hurt my back a year later. Brian had transferred to a distant location so I saw someone else. My orthopedist pulled the plug on that after a few visits, telling me I would do better on my own. That was harsh, but I saw his point, because things were just getting worse. Then I found Brian had set up on Washington Square, and I finagled a new Rx. Now I’m making rapid progress. It is a great location with views and nice atmosphere, too, better than others I have been to by far, and of course the highest standards of equipment and conditions. It’s not huge like some places where the activity is distracting, but I have never had to wait. I’ve had a chance to watch Brian work the full range from sports injuries to people recovering from surgery, young and old, and everyone seems to thrive with him. I think this is what he was born to do, loves the work, and is a master at it. He has earned my sincere respect.
