[7/20/09 Update] — Fastframe folded and have been replaced by another framing company. This national chain frame shop came through for me quite nicely. I had printed a digital photo next door at the Ritz or whatever, then walked in here for a frame. They had several smaller frames made from leftover, high-end materials that worked well for my application. The frame was 50% off because they were leftover mats, but I was treated really well, as opposed to vulture of convenience I actually was. They miscut the mat the first time around, but the service never faltered, and they hooked me up with new matting, a hinge, acid free backing, paper backing and mounting hardware really, really quickly. It didn’t hurt that they were absolutely dead the day before thanksgiving and I didn’t have to compete with, how do you say?, other customers, when I was asking for near-same day service. In my previous searches for good framers, these guys did not come up(perhaps because they are a chain or have a lame name), but I was really pleased with the product and level or service. Would go back again.
