Get quarter water or bag of lays chips. But there is Insomnia.
Insomnia cookies is a closeted fat persons dream.
I like to order a dozen cookies online and remember you can get coupon codes on
It comes to my door within 45 min piping hot… Even though I live two blocks away, the shame of my gluttonous fat self is too much to bear.
Get the ice cream too!

There is not a bad aspect… don’t go in thinking diet, waistline etc etc… just walk in saying I am going to enjoy the heck out of these cookies! They are served very warm gooey and utterly delicious. Not shy on sweet are they! There are tons of flavors and there are always at least a dozen different flavors to pick from. They run a little more than a dollar a piece which is awesome for the city! Ordering is quick and easy. There’s always a bunch made and in the warmer. You will want to come back over and over and over and over. There are several locations in the city of Philadelphia. They also serve ice cream. And they are open very late night so convenient for after a night life scene. It is a perfect stop instead of coffee for a late night drive home!

Lets party the night away with special S’mores Deluxe Cookie from Insomnia Cookies in Philadelphia. We are super excited to try Philly’s famous bakery that is well known for their late into the night clientele. One of the best cookies we’ve ever had! Amazing sweetness in every bite. Its like a thick gooey soft brownie in a cookie form with s’mores and gram crackers throughout. Wow it tasted so good that made us one very happy nomster. Make sure to enjoy it slowly to savor every little bit of it. Perfect sweet treat after a nice dinner and a few drinks. Its pretty heavy cookie so maybe we should only eat half? No way, the whole thing is going into our mouth!

Best cookies ever! Warm and soft and available when you have late night cravings. Don’t expect anything fancy in terms of service and décor. This location has a few chairs if you want to stay.
You can get cookies, brownies, ice cream as well as water and milk.

If you come to Philly you have to try this! Soo goood! Best part is that they deliver! You can get delivery up to 3 AM, this definitely made long nights in the library easier to get through. You also should try the ice cream sandwiches, pretty good! Sign up for the emails to receive deals.

This review is for Cyrus, our cashier. We came into the store at 9:29:56 PM (I’m looking at my receipt). He was eating, and looked extremely bothered that a group of 10 of us came in. BTW, this place is open until 3 A. M so it’s not like we came in right before close.
Our group is from Hawaii so we’re all super excited to try our first Insomnia cookie. But we were running up against a brick wall. I asked a question about cookie selection and the answer I received gave me the impression that it wasn’t going to happen.
When it was time to pay for my cookie, I tried to use my credit card and was told anything under $ 3 was not possible. When I took out a $ 100 bill I was told that wouldn’t work either. I’m traveling and I don’t carry a lot of cash.
In the end, it doesn’t matter how delicious my double chocolate mint cookie (that tasted like a Girl Scout Thin Mint but better) was because all I will remember is my customer service experience and how Insomnia cookie doesn’t want my money.

I made a stop at Insomnia cookies for a sugar fix around 9:30 pm. it’s open late (till 3 am), which is a huge plus when most desserts shops/​bakeries close by 6 or 7 pm.
Took to go the following: Deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup cookie, deluxe chocolate smores cookie, snickerdoodle and white chocolate macadamia.
The cookies were packed in a small box, so they don’t break or smush with each other. They were fresh from the oven (if not, then good for them for keeping the cookies warm).
All were delish — soft center, slightly crisp edge, just how great cookies should be. When pulled apart, marshmallow ooze from the middle of the smore’s cookies (like marshmallow crème). The PB cups pieces are perfect soft morsels (warm peanut butter melts in your mouth!) on the crisp cookie. If i had my arms around my back, I guess I’d have to say these two were my fave of the 4.

Can’t go wrong with cookies. And ice cream. This place was open late night, post bar hopping, and so I stopped by. It’s a tiny store, just enough room for a small line and a handful of bar chair seats. Luckily, cookies are easy to eat on the go so it doesn’t really matter. I had the deluxe peanut butter cup cookie… it was amazing, soft, and warm. Had it with some milk to wash it down, it’s so rich. I love the chunks of pb cups… can’t say I’ve had another cookie like it (not your average pb cookie), and I definitely want more! Kind of pricey for a cookie though, but cost and demand rules the economy.

Update: the vibes from these workers are really bad. It’s clear they don’t like their job and they seem to take out the frustration on the customers. I live a block from this Insomnia but I might start walking a few extra blocks to the other Insomnia so I can have a better experience.
On the bright side the cookies are still good, and there is a new lemon white chocolate chip cookie.

My sister and I went for the first time about a week ago. We were not quite ready to order when we first walked in so the girl behind the counter decided to awkwardly stare at us while we were trying to decide what to get.
I ordered the specialty Cooke in the S’mores flavor. Best cookie that I have ever eaten in that flavor on the east coast and I have been here for over four years.
Definitely a place to go back to and I will make sure to grab a milk to go next time.
The place is kind of small so I think I recommend delivery if possible.

It’s had to say anything about Insomnia that hasn’t already been said — their business model of serving up warm, gooey cookies at all hours of the night (within close proximity to bars and college campuses) is genius.
I stopped in here recently after dinner with friends, and was a bit disappointed to find service a little lacking. The cashier was totally disinterested and took awhile to fill my simple order of two warm cookies. Still, I know I’ll be back… the promise of warm cookies is just too much to pass up!

I love their s’mores and Peanut butter cup cookies. My only complaint is that they don’t use separate sheets for baking cookies that contain nuts.

Mmm my first insomnia experience… sinfully good! I couldn’t decide between ice cream or cookies so naturally I chose both and got a cookie a la mode. I chose the peanut butter cup chocolate chunk cookie, served hot out of the cookie warmer, with moose tracks ice cream on top!
It was $ 4.50, but they gave me a gigantic cookie and two large scoops of ice cream, so I think the price was pretty comparable to other ice cream options around. Anyways, I finally gave into this place and am extremely content! (But I had to walk like 5 miles after because I was so full!)
