Pros: Fast(next day pickup) Cons: No attention to detail, resulting in extra trips back to the shop. Not cheap($ 32 to replace 2 heels and a bad polish) Brought 2 pairs of mens shoes here to get re-heeled and polished, since this shop is close to my workplace. Pair #1: Polish was mediocre at best, especially since these shoes were in excellent condition to begin with. There appeared to be some dried glue on the shoe, which I suspect came from the repair. The interior of shoe had a LOT of shoe-shop dust and particulate matter. One of the new heels had exposed nail holes at the bottom, and one had a nail nearly exposed. I questioned the lady about this at the time I picked up the shoe, but she assured me it was OK. After thinking about it over the weekend, I brought the shoes back, and it was fixed on the spot. Unfortunately, the shoe is no longer flat at the bottom, and rocks back-and-forth a bit when I’m standing flat-footed. It doesn’t bother me enough to bring them back a 2nd time, but it’s certainly disappointing. I’m hoping this will go away over time. Pair #2: Polish job was even worse than the 1st pair. Again, there appeared to be some dried glue on the shoe, and the interior of shoe was filthy. On this pair, they attached heels that were different heights. The difference was slight(~3mm), but very obvious when you looked at the heel since there was an extra«layer» in the heel of one shoe but not the other. I returned this pair and they fixed it in a day. Unfortunately, they didn’t bother polishing the shoes again, as they were returned scuffed up. I really wanted to like this place, but the sloppy work really put me off. I won’t be back.

Great place in the center of the city to quickly stop in for a shine. Almost always able to stop in anytime and not have to wait for a seat. Mr. Jerry takes care of you and love making shoes look like new. Remember to take cash.

I took a couple of pair of my GFs shoes here to get(refurbished?) repaired. I really had no idea what to expect, I sort of thought shoe repair went the way of blacksmiths and clock makers. WRONG, what they did to her shoes was a miracle. When I first saw the shoes sitting out in our room I thought they were going in the trash, after resoling and an insane shine and buffing they look brand new. All in all there was a shine and buffing, resoling, and they put a new tip on a pair of heals. It came out to $ 50 which I didn’t expect but considering they saved two pairs maybe she won’t be so quick to get some new ones(side sip…) The actual repair man yelled out from the back if I liked them but I told him as with all things it doesn’t matter if I like them, if shorty ain’t happy, nobody happy!

A decent place to drop off shoes for a shine or minor repairs like new heels or soles. I have had several pairs of leather loafers, ½ boots(ankle boots) and dress pumps shined here. Decent prices and they have never lost anything. That’s a big plus.
