The Hub Centers for Meeting and Collaboration

I am an Event Coordinator from California and had to look into venues for a one-​day conference. Instead of searching for boring hotel venues, I was happy to find The Hub.
I am very happy to have chosen the Hub (CityView) because I am coordinating an IT business conference and this place definitely shows what we needed it to– modern technology! The Hub markets itself as a modern meeting space and it is exactly what it says it is. Not only would I book another meeting/​training here, but I recommend it to other businesses too. I believe our sponsor who came to our training will also be using The Hub for future meetings, too.
Food wise, we had the in-​room café service and continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, bagels and danishes which good. For lunch, we had a sandwich bar. I’m not a huge fan of sandwiches alone, but the Hub made them pretty good. The all day café was a must have with coffee, tea, and sodas.

My company uses this facility for corporate meetings. With many variety rooms, their catering service is very well know as well.
With projectors and professional staff’s, your meeting can go smooth as they are right on the spot for any kind of technical difficulties or support.
Will recommend this place for presentations or meetings in definite. They have rooms with great view in corners and can fit up 150 people in the large rooms.

I am staying at a local hotel for a wedding and needed a projector for a presentation at the rehearsal dinner. While the hotel was completely unhelpful, there was a link on their site to The Hub. I called The Hub and spoke with Melissa, who was extremely helpful.
Right away, I figured out that they couldn’t rent me a projector for an off-​site location, however, she suggested that she would take my name and number and call back with some answers. Less than 5 mins later, she called me back with 3 different phones numbers and companies and even walked me through the process of what I need an an approx cost. She mentioned they are a great connector (a hub, perhaps? hmm) and I would definitely use them for any business conference I may have in Philly in the future. What a nice company and thank you, Melissa.

Another successful (yet a bit pricey) meeting at the Hub — this time in a smaller room.
Sandwiches and salad for lunch (thanks steven starr) were great and a nice selection of beverages throughout the day.
Comfortable, professional, business-​y digs.
Clean restrooms.
If you have to suffer through another boring meeting or training class — try to do it here.

I hesitated to put in 5 stars because I didn’t want people to think I’m a plant. But they deserve a «whoo! As good as it gets!»
I’ve been to many events at The Hub and have been involved with booking them there as well. The staff is amazing. Norma Jean is great in working out details and the crew on-​site like Vesna and Mindy were invaluable. The most striking aspect of an event at The Hub is the level of service you get. Everyone’s smiling and takes responsibility for fixing any problem that arises. Everyone’s on point and is able to take action to fix a problem.
The entire experience at The Hub is fantastic. Original art (including Warhol and Dali pieces), sleek and sophisticated décor and meticulously maintained facilities. All of this coupled with Starr Restaurant catering is worlds beyond the rubber chicken you get in a dingy event space at a hotel. The best part is the costs are comparable the hotel and The Hub…

I have been working on finding interesting meeting space in Philadelphia for my company and I stumbled across The Hub during my search. The guy I have been talking with, Bill Tyrrell, is one of the funniest guys I have ever spoken to as well as being totally chill and accommodating. We have a meeting coming up that will run for two half days and will be for anywhere from 5 – 10 people. He was able to cut us a deal and only charge us half prices for the days AND get us a food/​beverage minimum of about $ 42 per person… CONSIDERABLY less than the $ 1000 minimum of most hotels. He invited me and my work girls to a client event last night so we could check out the meeting places and it is GORGEOUS! Beautiful views of Center City from most rooms, rooms of every size and set-​up, all of them chic and modern PLUS the event (as well as the meetings held there) was catered by Starr restaurants, so last night each meeting room was set up as a different Starr location. I was STUFFED (not to mention a bit tipsy) by the time I left. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to hold a meeting in Philly.
