Metro Lounge is a bar & nightclub in the Northern Liberties.
Good drinks which are reasonably priced & I’ve never had a complaint about the tunes. Mainly because I only go there on the nights when I see they’re showcasing breakbeats (so truly I have no clue what its like there when there isn’t breaks or electronic), but all the same, any club that brings in breakbeats DJs on even a semi-​regular basis is A-​OK by me!
There are two floors, the upper floor is without a doubt better suited for banging beats & dancing away.
The vibe is usually quite friendly & casual, no pretensions here. Well I slightly take that back. One night my boyfriend & I showed up directly after dining somewhere upscale, we were rather dressed up. We stayed till the end, & upon leaving we overheard a small group of people snickering at us for being styled the way we were. *meow* haha!
There is also a room of pool tables on the ground floor for anyone interested.
