Best pizza for your money I love the sausage pizza they use real chunk meat not like the other pizza place around here and the wings is awesome … This is my go to place to Order and reasonable for the price … And deliver awesome …

Got a confirmation text that my food was on the way 25 minutes later after the time they stated the food was gonna be here it’s not here called the place the girl says oh your food just left… oh we were busy sorry umm sorry but if it just left out the door why did I get a text saying it went out the door a half hour ago I bet my food will be nice and cold and soggy when it gets here also

Decent food, poor service. They apparently started charging at this location for any and all side sauces. I ordered the appetizer sampler and broiled chicken breast meal through GrubHub, paid with a credit card, and asked for honey mustard dipping sauce, and they called me and said I’d have to give a dollar and some change to the delivery driver because it was too late to charge the sauce to my card. Really? I’ve never ordered from somewhere that charges you after the fact for honey mustard, much less a dollar+… Their attitude on the phone really rubbed me the wrong way. Too bad, because the food is pretty good.

THE BEST WINGS EVER!!! I live out of state and travel to South Philly to get these wings and nothing compares to the food and service down here at Mr. Wings on Oregon Avenue!!! If your ever in town stop by and get some wings down there, you won’t be disappointed!

It’s hard to pick which is my favorite item here. Grilled chicken gyros, cheesesteaks, mr wings cutlets (homemade obviously), pizza is great too (my favorite is their white pizza with broccoli), and what they are known for their wings. They have tons of sauce options which is the best because in tired of places only offering mild medium and hot. My personal favorite is their spicy bbq. My daughter is a huge fan of their mini tacos (not many other places have these and we love them). Their flounder is always fresh and that’s homemade too. You really don’t see many «pizza places» offering soooo many homemade items (cutlets, burgers, fish, chicken) and it’s always spotless in there. Parking is a definite bonus! I assume it’s the owner or manager, but he’s always so friendly to his regular customers (eat here at least once a week so i would know. Can’t say enough about mr wings! Good job guys keep up the good work!

Me and a couple buddies decided we were going to get some food and watch the game. We chose Mr. Wings (the first of many bad decisions) Got some wings and pizza. We got the suicide wings. Tried to pick up the sloppy pizza but the cheese fell all over the place. Now it was time to enjoy some good ol’ wings (Or so we thought) To say these wings fucked up my entire life would be an understatement. They were so absurdly hot that i literally couldent breath after eating one. I was a very devoted catholic before today but after eating these wings i realise there is absolutely no way that there is a god, and if there is he is a total ass hat for actually letting these people serve these wings. They should be put in prison for what they did to us. They should be raped in prison. THEY SHOULD DIE IN PRISON. I would say a little more but im to busy crying and throwing up blood from that repulsive excuse for food. Fuck you mr. wings, fuck you right in the ear

Good pizza, good wings. I got the 20 nuclear boneless and my girl got the mild wings (with bones). We also got a good deal on 20 wings (my girl’s order) and a large pizza. All of this for 38 dollars. Not bad. Pizza was actually good. Not a lot of joints like these serve up good pizza. As for the wings, they are really flavorful. It was a tad salty to me, but usually all Buffalo wings are like that.
One big plus about this spot are the deals they offer for lunch and for specials. Also, lots of flavors to choose from for the wings. I haven’t had these guys for a while and they’re still worth the trip for the wings. These guys are known for their wings and times may have changed a bit, but these guys still have it in the bag.

These guys are right near where I work and although I have never been to the actual location I have ordered delivery from them too many times for me to count. I have ordered several things off of their menu; my favorites have been the Cheeseburger Wrap and the Chicken Finger Salad. Both are very good.
Only complaints? Occasionally the lettuce on the cheeseburger wrap seems a little old. Not too bad, definitely doesn’t make it inedible, but there is a definite difference in quality that I have noticed. Also, one day when I called to order a special that ended at 3:00 p.m. (and I’ll admit, it was like 2:58 — I was cutting it close), they told me that I couldn’t have the special. I questioned it and was told «Oh, it’s too late.» So I told them that their menu said that I could order it until 3. She told me that was correct. My response was that it was 3. She begrudgingly put the order through for me. I wasn’t trying to be difficult, but work was hectic that day and I technically was calling in under the deadline. Other than that isolated incident, everyone has always been very courteous and accommodating when I called.
Overall, this is a really nice little pizza place. They have fast delivery and they’ve almost always been pleasant to me on the phone.

Great food and best wings in town. Very nice group of people. I go here on occasion just because the wings are the best in Philly, hand down and their prices are pretty decent also compared to others. If you want good wings than this is the place to go.

My fiancé and I order from these guys pretty frequently, and we’ve always gotten delicious wings and pizza!
I’m originally from NJ and my fiancé is from NY, and sometimes we have been disappointed with the pizza in the area. Not so from Mr. Wings! When we got it for the first time, we were extremely impressed. The crust was crispy, the sauce was tasty, and there was plenty of cheese and toppings. For pizza of this style, it’s one of the best I’ve had in this city (different from «gourmet» pizza, I’d say it’s great for basic pizzeria style pizza).
The wings have always been great too. I’ve seen a few reviews commenting on how small the wings are, but I don’t really see the problem. We generally get the boneless wings though, which are considerably larger. My favorite sauces are the cajun (which is a dry-​rub with accompanying dipping sauce) and the honey BBQ. We had guests in from out of town, and they LOVED the honey BBQ sauce. It’s a unique sauce, quite unlike other generic honey BBQ sauces I’ve had at other wing places.
In terms of sides, they have a lot of options, but I’ve only tried the cheese bacon fries and the caesar fries. The cheese bacon fries are exactly what they sound like: cheese wiz, bacon bits and fries. Pretty solid! The caesar fries were really interesting, covered with caesar salad dressing and parmesan cheese.
If I had one complaint, it would be that I’d prefer more carrots over celery as the veggie accompaniment to wings. I hate celery, but love blue cheese (theirs is delightfully chunky), and the carrots are a nice touch. Last time we ordered, they forgot the carrots, but that’s a minor complaint. I’ll just specify extra carrots next time.
Overall, they are a solid wing and pizza option.

After looking at the reviews at Mr. Wings, we decided to order from there to have delivered. When I called, the woman who picked up the phone wasn’t sure if they delivered to where we live. so she proceeded to yell to someone in the background (although she basically yelled while she was still on the phone with me… LOUD). The man she yelled to confirmed that they deliver here. She said it would take about 20 minutes. AN HOUR LATER… they delivery guy calls to let me know that he was outside. I asked if I could pay with my card. He said I needed to call the restaurant to pay. I said ok… but then he told me that they were already closed and that I should’ve called when I ordered in the first place.
We went back and forth about it and he then said we are closed already and if I can’t pay him in cash, then he can’t deliver my food. UGH.
So we never got our food and their customer service was terrible.

Been ordering from here for years and tonight when we got delivery reminded me why. Great everything whether it be sandwiches, burgers, or their fried chicken. Get the cajun sauce to dip your food in. No idea how they make it, but it’s awesome; especially on fries.

This is my usual spot for Friday and/​or Saturday to order out. I usually order a chicken parm sandwich and always enjoy it. They use big pieces of chicken tenders, fresh provolone, and a heap of sauce. The wings are probably the best in town and usually meaty. If you don’t mind a bit of heat then get the nuclear sauce.

My boyfriend and I decided to get wings after a long day or work. We ordered 15 garlic Parmesan and 10 Cajun wings. Not until we drove home and got ready to eat did we realize that the wings were extremely DRY and really SMALLL. In addition the garlic Parmesan sauce was lack luster and what constitutes as «cajun» are some wings with a light sprinkling of Cajun seasoning and sauce on the side. We called to voice our disappointment after which, the manager was quite nice and offered to give us new wings. We went and picked up the wings only to find that they were still really small. After we ate them, we were still hungry. I must say that they were nice about giving us new wings but the wings were still sub par. I recommend going somewhere else for wings.

I was a Mr Wings regular until I stopped working in the area 3 years ago, but now I am back and decided to see if they were still as good. The prices may have gone up a little since then, but the quality food and service is still on point.
I ordered on a friday night, a 2 piece char-​broiled chicken breast meal with honey mustard sauce, fresh cut potatoes (potato wedges) and mac & cheese. What happened to the creamed spinach side I was so fond of before? gone… oh well. My supervisor ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of pizza fries. I usually order for delivery but we were slow so I picked it up and it was ready in 25 minutes. The girl behind the counter was friendly and quick to wait on me when I walked in. Just like I remembered.
My chicken was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Whatever they use for marinade, it’s the bomb. My sides were excellent as well, hot, tasty, and not too salty. The meals also come with a small side salad which was a fresh mix of lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and cabbage. Not just lettuce like some places. Top it off with their house dressing (balsamic vinegar & olive oil) and I’m happy. My supervisor devoured his wrap and fries, said they were awesome.
I am giving this place 5 stars even though they no longer have my favorite side, creamed spinach. Even though my meal was 9.25 which I find a bit high compared to what it was 3 years ago, about 2 dollars cheaper, it’s still worth it. They do offer lunch specials during the week where you can get a wrap, sandwich, or wings, plus fries and soda for a discounted price. Will try one of those next time. I can’t speak for the pizza or wings, as I have not had either in years, but I will get around to them too.
In a sea of over-​hyped South Philly food establishments, Mr Wings stands out as one of the best!

Horrible pizza. Worse than the worst frozen pizza. I was pretty hungry and lazy yesterday and had no food in my house. I opened my door and was greeted by one of mr. Wings Pizza and grills menus. I decided to give them a shot since the menu claims fast delivery… It wasn’t. Took 45 minutes. So I paid $ 15 bucks plus tip to the driver for a xl pepp pie. Couldn’t believe how pathetic it was. I wouldn’t be so hasty to write a review Bashing them, but when you have the word ‘pizza’ in your name, and charge $ 15 you should put a little more effort into it. Cliché, but the crust was like cardboard. The cheese was something I’ve never seen, maybe even a cheap cheddar? I have no idea. But it was bad. Think kraft singles. The pepperoni was fine… Sauce? Unremarkable. I hear the wings are good, so go that route if you must. As for the pizza; you are better off with a slice of white bread, tomatoe sauce and some mozzarella cheese. Bake in microwave for 2 mins, like I did as a kid. Time to make like dominos, admit your pizza sucks and start from scratch.

Quite simply, the best wing takeout in Philly. They have five different varieties of wings (mild, medium, hot, nuclear, and honey BBQ) and two kinds of fries, regular and skin-​on. The chicken wings themselves are crunchy, and they are good quality, none of the freaky deformities and bloody veins you get from some places. The sauce has a slight buttery flavor, like homemade, and the heat ratings are accurate — mild is safe for the wimpiest of eaters, and hot is indeed blazing. Luckily they serve the elusive medium, too. Each order comes with a packet of carrot and celery sticks and a tub of chunky, delicious blue cheese dressing. They also make pizza and sandwiches, but I can’t personally vouch for those. Their pizza smells amazing, but I am more of a wing girl.
Their delivery is really fast, too. I ordered tonight (a Saturday) at 7:30pm and had my order in hand by 8pm. Bliss.
