They’re round dinner rolls are all I’ve had from here but omg they’re amazing. Make your holiday orders in time or they’ll be unable to fulfill your order.

Well, the important thing is that their breads, stuffed breads, and pizza are incredible. Everything is reasonably priced, made fresh, and GOOD. Downfall is that the old lady that works there is so mean and nasty to people. If you can overlook that, then by all means go get some of their rolls and breads. Good food. Bad attitude. I’ll deal with it!

I love everything that comes out of this little hole-in-the-wall bakery, which is why I deal with the brow beating I get from the owner. If you don’t call ahead for your order or arrive at a time she deems appropriate, you get verbally assaulted. If at all possible, try to deal with the daughter who also works here. She is very sweet, and I’m pretty sure she knows her mom is a loon. Tomato pie is one of the better ones around. Their rolls are great too… but PLEASE call in your order before going!

This is a small Italian bakery in a small strip of stores between a dry cleaner and a Dunkin Donuts. It is small places like this that make me glad that I live in Philadelphia. I have taken relatives here from California and they tell me how cool it is to have a store so close to your house and with such great prices. Hey, I thought they had every thing out there, I guess not. Anyway, the store is not much more then a counter. Their specialty is their bread, which is very good and one of the better breads up here in the Northeast. They also make lots of different Italian desserts Including cannolis. Most of the time you can get pizza and Stromboli’s if it is not sold out. You really have to get to this store early to get a good selection as it seems like they make enough for the day. It is worth a stop if you are near this section of Frankford Ave.
