My husband and I lived here for 2 years from 10÷14÷13 to 10/​31/​2015.
Let’s start with the positive. At the time we were looking most places were asking for first month, last month and security deposit. This place only wanted first month and security deposit. We were also having a hard time finding a place that allowed pets (we have 2 cats). They not only allow cats but they also don’t charge a pet deposit or pet rent which almost all places that do allow pets do require this. Major plus. The 28 bus route is literally right outside. It’s within walking distance to CVS, Dunkin Donuts, a bar, a hair salon, Holiday Market, Kellers Market, a bakery, a pizza place, a nail salon, 2 banks, another pharmacy and 2 auto body shops. The apt has a huge bay window and they keep up on the outside up keep.
Now the cons. Can’t get direct tv or dish. Your only allowed Comcast or Verizon. Bugs bugs and more bugs. Mainly spiders. Completely infested with spiders. You can’t open the windows in nice weather because of the ridiculous amount of noise outside and there are huge holes and gaps in the windows that need to be sealed.
The move out was very easy. We cleaned the place in accordance with the move out check list we received and had no issues receiving our security deposit back.
My recommendations for the management would be to seal the windows properly and get a professional exterminator to take care of the bug issue before they rent it out again.
