Ive been coming to this Pathmark for years. Even when it was across the street. I still like the store but have some reccomendations. Firstly they dont have the foot traffic they once had. This is due to the new W-Mart and Target that has opened within a ¼ mile of this store. This store is in need of a make over and possibly re-branding of sort.

This store is the WORST in the Port Richmond area. First the parking lot is nothing but a big trash can, you never see a staff person trying to keep it clean consistently. The store always has a bad smell when you enter and it’s not very clean. The staff are not friendly and certainly not«customer service oriented». Lastly, their prices are HIGHER then Shop Rites! I would just skip this one and head further up Aramingo to Shop Rite. Better prices, better service and selection.

Pathmark has good prices on sale items but regular prices can be high. The store is a little dated but employees are generally nice and helpful. The store puts coupons in the circular for certain items but coupons are only good Friday through Sunday. It’s good for basics but not my favorite supermarket.

Yeah it’s cheap for junk and other stuff but when it comes to fresh produce and other meats and fishes not really a good place to go to. It’s only good because it’s convenient.

It’s OK. They do offer most brands along with a wide assortment of speciality items. Complete with bakery, pharmacy, fresh seafood deli section, gourmet cheese box, they even sell lottery tickets and septa passes. 24 – 7 –365(366)

I didn’t think there was a worse grocery store than Thriftway, which is really trying these days so I shouldn’t disparage it so much anymore, but man does Pathmark try hard to be the worst. The produce is usually gross, I could not find a single non-smushy tomato, the mushrooms were on their way out, etc. The store layout is annoying, and the cashiers are rude. I also don’t get the bag it yourself, but I’m going to send it all down in one row that’s farther away from you and then get annoyed that you’re bagging when I want you to pay attitude. Look, I bag my own groceries regardless, but give me damn second lady. Ugh. I did once get a really awesome fake tattoo from the bubble gum machines on the way out. Avoid if you can.

Every Pathmark parking lot is a death trap and this one is certainly no exception. Make sure to have 360 degree vision because, if you’re not looking everywhere at all times, you’re liable to hit a drugged-up zombie any second. Typical of this neighborhood, they have aisles of frozen slop and not much of anything else. Their store brands aren’t that much better(quality and price-wise) than the name brands. And good luck navigating each and every aisle in this joint! No one in this neighborhood knows how to walk or say«Excuse me» should they want to pass you or if they’re walking by you and you’re reaching for something. This is a nightmare in every sense of the word. Patronize at your own risk!

It’s a Pathmark, what else is there to write about! I love how I can always count on them to have my 100% Lactose free milk, fresh seafood, cooked chicken(in the back) and the express self-checkout lines. Great job, Pathmark. Thanks!
