What a awesome state of the art building. Various specilaties in the building and all the modern conveniences with medical equipment & technology. The palce is extremely busy and there we people from all cultures roaming the halls trying to navigate themselves to the check in desks.
The lobby is grand and spacious with lots of windows and extremely high celings. Check in was a breeze. Computerized qucikness. I can’t want until you don’t have to arrive early to check in and fill out prior health history and it can be done all on an app or a comptuer based handheld system they give you when you check in.
Wait time was less than 30 minutes before being wisked to see the technician. State of the art tomography for mammogram for a 3D image and results given to me before leaving. What service.
Although traffic in this area is horrendus and even more so during inclement weather, however you just have to leave extra early to make an appt. based on where you live.
My only issue is really a personal one and has nothing to do with my visit. I really have a raised brow for buildings named after people. It’s so self serving and screams an overly austentacious exaggeration of wealth that speaks to «Look at me, I have money to get my name on a building»… Where’s the humility and modesty in that. Yawn Yawn.

Whenever, I am coming here I am typically anxious. Traffic is usually bad, parking is a mess and everyone is typically lost due to CHOP, and UPENN being literally across the street. Top that off with heath issues or a loved one having a health problem and it can make for quite the experience.
However, the doctors at the Perelman Center are top notch and the building is definitely very beautiful. Very cool and modern. I do know that I am in good hands as far as modern medicine goes when I come here. I usually leave in a much better mood then when I first walk in. My mind is typically at ease because I know they are doing the best they can to help me.
Come early if you have an appointment and be prepared to wait. Usually, coming here for an appointment turns into a whole day affair due to waiting. However, there are quite a few eateries if you step right outside. My favorites are Gia Pronto right on the first floor and Pot Belly which is about a walking block away.

Beautiful location. I’ve worked at several top notch hospitals and cancer centers and this one blows them out of the water in terms of efficiency and beauty. If you need diagnostic X-​rays done at Penn — they’ll send you here. I had bilateral knee x-​rays done (chronic runner’s knee) and the whole process took 30 minutes including registration and wait.

AMAZING!!! Dr. Vaughn saved my life. I love u Perelman!!!
