So happy (my wallet disagrees) this Starbucks exists so close to my work!
Yes, the line can be long during the busy morning hours and it maaay take awhile to get your order. BUT just download the Starbucks app, pre-​order your complicated venti soy double shot extra foam extra hot sugar free cinnamon dolce caffe misto and it’ll be ready for pick up in about 5 minutes (skipping the line!). The best part, aside from avoiding the dirty looks people behind you give when you start rattling off your drink order, is prancing from the door straight to the counter past the uninformed in line (VIP style) to pick up your perfectly made drink.

The mid afternoon shift is painfully slow at times. I hate to give them 3 stars because sometimes they’re great and on top of things but only if certain baristas are working. The guy making the drinks always seems distracted and takes forever. For a coffee shop right near a hospital, where people are frequently stopping in before work, they really should step up their game. They just need to work on their efficiency.

Am so excited about the new Starbucks at 3400 Civic Center Blvd. It is truly like a coffee shoppe that is independently owned, not part of a major corporation. The staff are incredibly service oriented. It must be the test they pass to get hired!!! One of the women asked me to call her ahead of time so she could save a pumpkin scone for me!!! And I plan to do that! Friday after I see the doctor, my treat is to go to Starbucks, have the pumpkin she saved for me along with a café olé! Could not be happier!!!

I was so excited when I saw the «coming soon» signs this summer for this Starbucks next to Gia and Jimmy Johns! I always wished for a closer coffee shop on my way into work, and now there is! This Starbucks is clean and bright, with plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor seating as well. It’s great for anyone working in the hospital or research centers around the area because of its central location and quick service! As for the quality, it’s what you would expect of any starbucks — reliable! Definitely going to be a new staple of mine :)
