I lived across from here. Great little place. A watering hole where you can get away from your house and have some beers, and not pay too much.

This place is strange. I moved across the street from this place a few months ago with some roommates and we’ve been wanting to check it out and find a «home» bar. I’m not sure what the hours are, some days its open, some days its not. Seems like no matter what, it is always closed by about 10pm. We walked in and the bartender was hanging out talking to two other patrons. The décor was exactly what I expected — I felt like I was hanging in someone’s basement. A handful of card tables with table cloths. The bar itself was very large, but not much else to it. Could use a good cleaning and fresh paint, but I suppose that’s the«charm». They have 3 beers«on tap» — miller lite, coors lite, and kenzinger, each inside of a mini fridge kegerator. I’m a big fan of craft beer so this was disappointing. I went with the kenzinger which was more on the warm side. They seemed to have one bottle of each type of liquor. My friend ordered a vodka tonic and he went to the back of the bar to a freezer to get the ice for it. There was a fridge with bottles, but I couldn’t tell what they had in there. Seemed like cheap stuff, high life, bud, etc. The good news, is that the drinks are just as cheap at $ 3 a pop. It was quiet, there was a TV in there, but otherwise not much to look at. If you’re looking for cheap beer and not much else, this is the place for you. I’ll likely give it another shot and see what bottles they had, but I feel like I have a better selection in my own fridge, and since the bar felt more like a basement, I might as well stay home.

Discovered this place riding my bike home a different way than usual. I couldn’t remember the name and had to run past it again to find it. Cool little spot with beer in ice cold glasses.
