This place is awful, forgot to put some of our food in the bag with the rest of it and then tried to convince us that it was all there, and then said sorry we’re done delivering before we could even ask to get the order that we paid for, very rude over the phone, won’t order from them again

I just cancelled my order because it has been two hours and I still didn’t get my food, even after I called and was told it would be here in 15 more minutes. Never again.

Wow! Avoid this place at all cost !
Ordered delivery, took over an hour and ten minutes to arrive, after I was told it would only be a half hour or so. When my food arrived, I instantly checked it to make sure it was still hot or even somewhat warm. What I found was that my fried pickles were something that I wouldn’t even feed to a stray animal, it was in a brown soggy substance or something along those lines. My «mini tacos» that I specifically asked the counter girl if they were the fried appetizer kind told me yes they were, well they weren’t !!! Oh and my cheesesteak was cold but I managed to deal with that after the horribleness of the other foods.
I sent my order back, called and asked for a refund for both the fried pickles and mini tacos. My card was already charged $ 17, and I asked for that to be refunded and only be charged for the cheesesteak. The manager was very understanding and told me the $ 17 would be issued back to my card, I waited 24 hours and to no suprise, nothing! I called back & was told that a delivery driver would bring me cash to my home. I never heard anything back.
So not only did I get charged $ 17 for the initial charge, I was charged $ 10 again for the cheesesteak that I kept! $ 27 for a cheesesteak!
I cannot wait to go in person tomorrow!
Poor excuse for an establishment, not even worthy of one star!

I got an Italian hoagie delivered via GrubHub, and they forgot the lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and sweet peppers (which I paid an extra 50¢ for). So just meat and cheese. There was also some mystery meat on the sandwich that was half pink and half brown. Took a bite just to see and also found some weird tiny pepperoni (?!). Still not entirely convinced I won’t get food poisoning. Really weird because I’ve had their pizza and it was great. Guess that’s why it’s not called Hoagie Fanatic.

A nice big slice of pizza with plenty of pepperoni. Lots of seating and everyone there was friendly to me so I have no complaints. Reminds me of some of the pizza places I ate at while in college.

I’m only giving this one star because I can’t give it any stars… Ordered my food at 12:23 am and didn’t get it till 2:37. More than a 2 hour delivery time and when the driver pulled up, he told me to talk to his boss. I don’t think the boss knew he gave me the phone cause all I heard was, «don’t give him that food if he’s gonna keep bitching about the time.»
Some of the most disrespectful people.
Will never order from here again, plus the food was HORRIBLE. Horrible fries, soggy and cold. Pizza was not good either.

I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because my previous order was better. I got a small plain pizza and the fired jalapeño slices because I thought «finally something different on a typical pizza place». They were great and I don’t remember the pizza but that isn’t a bad thing.
This time I opted for the fried pickles and a small plain pizza. And wow… The pizza looked like a toy pizza. Just greasy as hell and funny looking cheese. But I have to admit that once u soaked up the grease w paper towels, it was very tasty.
The fried pickles are another story! What happened to them? First impression was «soggy and gross» but eh can’t be that bad can they? Totally! The breading was so paper thin and didn’t chew well. Fell off half of the pickles and was the most off putting thing ever!
I tried to suxk it up and eat them but by the time I got to the last couple, they were covered in a brown «juice». Thinking if what that could be made my stomach turn and I just tossed them. Never trying this place again. Not when there’s so many other pizza spots who are more consistent and actually great food.
PS I’m not one to complain… But when something is so bad you can’t even eat it…

How can a pizza shop be run like this & still stay in business???
I ordered a spinach salad with chicken from this place and almost the entire bed of spinach was bad. There were crumbs of feta cheese if any, the mushrooms were scarce, & the chicken was dry. The onions were literally onions meant for cheesesteaks w/​fried onions. I’m usually not one to complain ever as this is the first bad Unilocal review I’ve written.
But let me advise you, Pizza Fanatic I’m sure is amazing when you’re really f**cked up. But never get a salad from here.

Update: I ordered boneless wings, fries, and a soda and it was terrible. Our long delivery, soggy wings, and wet soft fries. The only thing that was good about what I ordered was the can of soda.

I placed an order over the phone and it was over an hour and a half for the delivery service. I called a few times to check on the status and the person was extremely rude. When the food arrived it was all cold. Perhaps the food would have been better at a different temperature, but it was disgusting and I did not eat it. Horrible customer service, horrible food. I’m only giving this one star because I couldn’t give zero.

First off I have never felt the need to write a review for any restaurant, ever. But this place is truly ridiculous. The first time I ordered from them I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. When it arrived, the chicken was cut up into weird chunks and a total mess & on top of that the fries weren’t even cooked all the way through. How they hell do you fuck up fries? Anyway, for some reason my boyfriend and I decided to give them another chance and we tried to place an order on the phone for delivery. They have a HUGE section on their menu offering a «create your own salad» option. So I went ahead and created my own salad. The dude had no idea what I was talking about and said he would just give me a garden salad? Uh no? This place sucks. Their employees apparently don’t know their own menu or how to prepare a simple meal. Don’t give them your money, not worth it.

I will never spend my money at this place. I walked in to order a salad and stood at the register for 10 mins before anyone noticed me. When someone finally walked up, it was only to answer the phone. When I asked the cashier if someone could take my order she said «sorry we have to take phone orders first.» I walked out. If Unilocal allowed negative stars, I’d give this place a –6. Terrible customer service.

OMGosh! I ordered the Mediterranean pasta, with penne, and it was the worse slop I’ve ever seen in my life. It arrived in a bag dripping in oil. That was because the pasta dish was swimming in oil. It was as if they took the leftovers from the day before, whatever was in the bottom of the pot, and dumped it into a take-​out container. I’m talking at least a ½ liter of oil, soggy, limp pasta, congealed feta cheese, and over-​cooked spinach. AND IT WAS COLD! When I called to voice a strongly worded complaint, they made no effort for restitution. They didn’t offer to fix me another, or give me a credit. If they can be that careless about presentation, and about what they serve to their patrons, then I don’t trust ANYTHING that comes out of their kitchen. Lazy work ethic; nasty, foul food.

EXTREMELY RUDE!
I have eaten here plenty of times because it is apart of the building my boyfriend lives in. The most I have ordered is a turkey sandwich or a Caesar salad which is never bad when you are starving. Usually I am serviced by individuals who are around my age but tonight I walked in and there were two older (late 40s-​early 50s) guys at the front fumbling with receipts. I asked if they were open, and the Italian-​looking guy who I assume is the owner and/​or manager abruptly replied «Yes, but we are not taking orders.» The guy next to him then repeated the same thing in a more gentle manner. I proceeded to ask when they would be taking orders again and was answered with silence. I was really losing my cool, I could certainly «set it off», but I knew the better and more effective avenue would be to write a review on their appalling customer service. Customer service so repulsive I will never eat there again. So after being met with silence, I asked AGAIN, «When will you be taking orders ?». The extremely obnoxious Italian-​looking guy BOORishly stated, «Look, honey, I need 20 minutes». The guy next to him then repeated the man’s statement in a more pleasant tone and without the term of endearment; I appreciated that, he certainly was the CO2 to the blazing fire I held within, but the damage done was irreparable. I just said, «F… It» and walked out.
There should be a sign out front that displays: «BEWARE OF DOG. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.» I was certainly not prepared for that attack.

Ordered through their app, they forgot my side of fries and a small pizza that I used my points to purchase then called me the next day to ask where am I so they could collect $ 6.99 from me for a pizza I never received. Bad customer service

Incompetent staff. Unable to manage online ordering. We will not be ordering from here again.

I’m never buying from them again. I ordered a cheese burger with the «hand-​cut» fries and cold slaw. The server said he FORGOT to tell me when I called back that they ran out of cold slaw so he gave me extra fries, which were the worst tasting fries I’ve ever purchased like they were repeatedly reheated. The burger was severely overcooked with lettice and tomato that were practically rotten. My brother ordered a reg. stromboli that was greasy, underdone, and chewy that was the price of a large in any other place. It’s about 5 blocks away, they took 45 min, and the food was almost cold! I’m so disappointed.

I live in the apartment complex above which makes this place very convenient. Prices are much more reasonable than the over priced convenience store (sells Chinese food, hoagies, etc.) near it. I got a single slice of pepperoni pizza (which was HUGE) and a soda for $ 3.50. A decent deal considering the portion size. I ordered pick up once and I can say that their pizza is the only thing worth the money. Pasta and soup is a no go.

Very poor customer service, when food was delivered almost 2 hours late it was cold and soggy when I asked for a full refund I was told I would receive it the next morning it became a week long ordeal fighting with the owner though email, not even a courtesy call. I’ll never spend my money at this poorly run establishment again.

Ok So I’ve finally decided to do a review of pizza fanatic. I’ve ordered from here 8 times and tried out various items on the menu.
–Let’s start with the pizza.
They offer traditional american style pizza with a variety of toppings and some specialty pizzas. Some of the specialty pizzas are pretty creative, however I have not tried any of the specialty pizzas. I look forward to doing so in the future because the pepperoni pies that I’ve ordered have been consistently delicious. I’ve ordered four of them and each time they were cheap in price but 5 stars on flavor. They really cook them to a nice crisp golden brown. I could go on and on, but I’ve included a picture which is worth more than my description. This place truly delivers a cheap (price) 5 star pizza, and I would bet their specialty pizzas are equally delicious.
–Minitacos– Standard fare. Pretty much what you would buy frozen at the supermarket, but I ordered them one night because I wanted mini tacos. There isn’t much to say about them.
–Megafries– I thought they were a bit sup-​par. There wasn’t enough cheese and the cheese, nor was there enough bacon.
–Brotherly love footlong– This is a cheese steak with, salami, tomato, onion rings and special sauce. It was lacking on cheese, and while the special sauce was present, it was lacking in the special sauce. Overall it was a pretty dry cheese steak that I didn’t particularly care for.
— This is similar to a Rutgers fat sandwich, but not quite as good. I enjoyed it and I would probably order it again, but it was lacking in pizza sauce and again like the brotherly love footlong it was a bit dry. It comes with with chicken fingers, onion rings, fries, mozzarella sticks and pizza sauce. If you are eating a sandwich like this with so many dry components it really should be doused in pizza sauce. I added a bit of jarred pizza sauce to it at home and it was delicious, for the drunk sandwich that it is.
Wings, Chicken Parm, Cheese steak quesadilla were also all very good, but each Item I know of places that do it better. Plaza Pizza, City View Pizza, Liberty Grill, respectively.
I also ordered the pepperoni stromboli. It is a very good stromboli, however I thought that it was a bit small for the price. I took a picture of it, but I’m having trouble finding it right now so I’ll probably upload it later. As far as flavor and quality of ingredients, it’s a very good stromboli 5 stars, it was just a bit too small for my ridiculous appetite.
So overall, the best thing they offer is their pizza products. It make sense when you think about the name of the place. I think the the pizza itself deserves 5 stars, but I’m giving 4 stars overall because the other Items that I’ve ordered have been in the 3 – 4 star range. For a simple non specialty pepperoni pie, I have yet to review a place that does it better.
