This was my favorite pizza shop. Best pizza with a slightly sweeter sauce that reminded me of the pizza I grew up with in western NY. No, the ambience wasn’t great(it’s a delivery/pick up pizza shop) but the family who owned it is fabulous. I just moved back to the neighborhood and I’m really sad to see it all boarded up. Not sure where to go now for a pie from a good family run pizza shop.

There is NOWAYINHELL that this is a real business. This is thee definition of a «front business.» I want them to leave my neighborhood so at least someone of legit business can move in there. If you walk in to order food they look a little surprised that you want to order. The place is extremely dirty. One time I came in and there was a full trash bag sitting on one of the table tops. At strange hours of the morning and night there is always a uhaul or the recognizable purple mini van loading and unloading boxes out of there. Get your fake business out of my neighborhood!

For the price I guess its okay, but the veggie pizza we had was terrible. Its a sad day when three people, partaking of alochol, can’t finish a pizza. The pepperoni was a bit better. Delivery took about 35 minutes from about 3 blocks away(yes, we were lazy). If you’re in a pinch and low on cash… if not… go to Lorenzo’s the added cost is worth it.

My boyfriend is mad at me because I refuse to take even a bite from the pie I just bought for us. We just moved to the neighborhood & I had never seen/been here before. I was hesitant to order from them after reading their various reviews online. My boyfriend demanded we try the local pizza shop. So we ordered over the phone & walked over for pickup. The front door was broken– just sorta swung back & forth in the cold November air. A tween boy sat in the middle of the small space playing video games on a humongous tv from 1987 also in the middle of the room. I had to reach over him to even pay. Behind the messy counter was a very dirty kitchen. There’s sauces, plastic forks, napkins &other misc items sticking to the ground under the ovens. There were economy sized cans of tomato products laying in random places and papers everywhere. Where in the world would one have room to even make the pizza? Seriously, I’m weary of even drinking the can of iced tea I bought there. As for the boyfriend, he thinks it tastes good. He says ‘it’s not like its exceptional, but it’s decent. It’s like a frozen pizza’. Well he better start learning to like olives as much as he likes pepperoni, b/c he’ll have to eat my half of the pie too. I give 1 star for its suckiness but friendly customer service & another star for the boyfriend eating his frozen pizza like a nice italian boy should not.

Ordered a pizza from them yesterday. The pizza was the most unexciting pizza I’ve ever eaten. The dough had absolutely no taste and the sauce was marginal. Definitely will not be getting pizza from them again.

This is by far the most bizarre pizza place I’ve ever been to. The place did not look open from afar and I would have stopped in my tracks had it not been for the fact that the sign was still lighted. The interior looked dark but there were people and some activity inside. The glass on the door was partially smashed which I suppose happens but is not a very welcoming sign. Inside a family was huddled around the TV, kids working on homework and we had the general feeling that we had walked into someone’s family room. The place sold pizza by the slice so we ordered up two slices of cheese and waited to see what was produced. The pizza came out fairly quickly. The dough was not thick and fairly dry. The cheese and sauce were about equally proportioned by the sauce lacked any sort of distinguishable flavor. Definitely not the worst pizza I’ve ever had and for $ 1.75 a slice I don’t think it was unfairly priced. However, it was neither a deal nor impressive enough to recommend this place to anyone else.

Ok, so the pizza is not my favorite but the cheese steaks do hit the spot. And the grilled pita sandwiches are yummy too. This is a family run business and I live on the street. I have to stick up for this family. They are super friendly and have been good neighbors. In fact the men who were alluded to as being«shady» actually provide me as their neighbor with a sense of security. As a woman living alone it nice to know someone is keeping an eye on things, especially late at night!

I’m really not convinced this is an actual, legit pizza shop. Yes, one can buy a pizza here, if one’s definition of pizza has some major wiggle room in it. You know those«mob movies» set in Little Italy where the gangsters perpetually hang out at tables in front of some nondescript establishment that isn’t *really* open to the general public, the kind where a casual passerby who doesn’t know any better and happens to go in, expecting some normal purchasing experience, quickly picks up on the vibe that the place isn’t truly what it purports to be and that their business isn’t really wanted? I.e., a «front» business? Well, welcome to Queen Village Pizza, where they’ve been in business for years, where a group of middle-aged Middle Eastern men are almost always sitting out front shooting suspicious, somewhat antagonistic glares at anyone who happens to stroll by too closely, where one almost never, ever sees anyone ever actually BUYING anything there ever, and if one does actually go in and order something, one gets the distinct impression that the«staff» have to quickly remind themselves of how to construct a hoagie… like it’s been a good long while since they were last asked to do it. Oh and did I mention that all of their food sucks? Oh. Well: All of their food sucks.

I’ll give it a two because the woman behind the counter was so nice. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for awhile, and for some reason it has the worst pizza selection. It’s that bland, flavorless pizza… next time I’ll walk over to Loreznos or Slice.

This place is around the corner from my house, so naturally I’d try it. We were always getting coupons dropped at our door with some good deals, but it’s not even worth the money I’m saving. The pizza is terrible, I think Pizza Hut has better pizza and that’s saying alot considering I don’t like pizza from chains, at all. Thick, white crust. Low quality cheese, bland sauce. And not only is it bad, but it takes so long for anything you order! It’s also sort of a shady business. There’s always men sitting around outside, sometimes around 3 – 4 am. I know it’s their business what they’re doing, but it’s still a little shady.

I live in the neighborhood — which is not low income considering it’s in Queen Village for crying out loud — and get dinner from here on occasion. It’s dirt cheap and the prices cannot be beat. The pizza is pretty good — I like it better than Napoli, which is nearby. The pasta dishes definitely leave something to be desired. I ordered baked ziti and it was dry stuck together noodles with canned tomato sauce spooned on top(not mixed in) and a sprinkling of mozzarella cheese. Where was the ricotta, folks? Also, definitely not the type of pizza joint where you sit down and enjoy your slice. They do deliver and if you live within walking distance the owner’s ten year old son will drop it off.

I definitely woudn’t consider this a ‘bad’ area. It’s right on fabric row and in Queen Village. Two of us grabbed lunch there — sandwiches, onion rings, fries and two drinks and it was less than $ 14. It was a great deal and the food was tasty. My friend got a cheesesteak… and while it definitely wasn’t Pat’s or Geno’s, it hit the spot. I got a grilled sandwich and enjoyed it a lot. A pizza was just coming out of the oven and looked really good — will definitely try it when I next visit/order from QV Pizza. The woman behind the counter was really sweet too. It’s a mom and pop joint, so I say frequent them, so they don’t disappear and all we’re left with is Applebees and Chili’s! Ugh!

This little corner eatery is on the brink of a low-income housing neighborhood. It isn’t the nicest spot, and you shouldn’t eat in, but I do recommend the fries if you are walking by. They are awesome huge steak fries.. . worth the $ 1.
