I come here to play darts every Wednesday, it’s also around the corner from where I live and I have good friends that bartend here. The beer selection is quite good for a divey bar and it is not a big deal kind of place which I like, and everyone is always really friendly. Sometimes they have free hoagies out, or snacks at the bar. They have an ATM machine if you run out of cash, you have to smoke outside(I’m a non-smoker) and on wednesdays they do $ 5 shots of Jameson and $ 2.50 Miller High Lifes if you’re trying to save money. I will keep coming here as long as it’s in business.

I stopped into this South Philly pub with a friend last week to watch a world cup game. I wasn’t expecting much more than a dirty dive, but was impressed to find a clean, spacious pub with a friendly bar staff. While watching the game, we were surprised by free grilled food, and surprisingly affordable drink specials. The place’s claim to fame? Darts, darts, darts. Spread across the bar were at least 4 dart boards, equipped with professional grade score keeping devices. Apparently this place has at least one very popular dart league as I witnessed during my stay. If you’re in the neighborhood, this place is worth a stop. It’s definitely a bit intimidating from the outside, but it’s a very friendly neighborhood bar with HD TVs, and more than its share of dart boards.

I went here because I have a friend that is a bartender. The place seems to have the blue collar type of regulars there, so you may feel left out if you know no one there. They have no drafts at all and all bottles. There were a few craft beers, but not a big selection. It was a 2.50 happy hour special on domestics from 4 – 7, so that was cool.

It’s an alright place depending upon who’s bartending. Probably one of the darkest bars(as in dimly lit) I’ve been in, on top of that. They also have karaōke some nights if that’s your thing.
