I had been going to Tara at Sulimay’s in Fairmount and I am thrilled that they opened up in Manayunk. Tara, the owner is fabulous. She’s also very easy to talk to and makes you feel right at home. Her styling is superlative. Plus, you get to see all the shops and restaurants in Manayunk. Great for guys and gals of all ages. She also offers a senior citizens discount. What could be better?

I was walking on Main Street and happened to see Sulimay’s Studio on Main. I decided to take a chance and get a haircut, and it paid off! It was such a great atmosphere and Ashley did an amazing job giving me the change in hairstyle that I desired. She even took the time to style my hair at the end. They made me feel as if I had been coming to the studio for years. I highly recommend this studio for anyone who is looking for a change. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been going to Sulimay’s in Fairmount for years. Their newest salon in Manayunk is in a great location on Main Street. Both places offer great cuts and color! All of the stylists and barbers are extremely talented. I would highly recommend this place for anyone!

Good men’s cut on Main Street. Although, my stylist kept noting to me what lengths she was using to cut so ‘I could let my next stylist know.’ It felt like my business wasn’t welcomed.

This place is great! I got tired of going to the usual big-​chain hair cut places that get you in and out as quickly as they can. The people at Sulimay’s are great. They take their time to offer you suggestions, and treat everyone like they are an old friend.
No rush jobs here, just special attention to detail, and they won’t let you leave until you are 100% satisfied. Great atmosphere inside, relaxed, no loud music or intense lights.
In my opinion the BEST place in Manayunk for a haircut. Highly recommended!

Amazing people with talent! Highly recommend for any age, hair type or gender! I have been going to them since 2007! Never had a bad anything, they are always happy to see you (they always remember you), catch up and most important a great hair cut and style! My son has had three haircuts already and he is 21 months old. Amazing patience and no matter how unsteady it has always looked great! There is not a bad stylist but from experience I love Tara and Madeline! Deb will be missed at the new location which is a sweet, roomy and well decorated salon. Great down to earth talented people, always a pleasure to visit!
