I’ve been working with Sydney Rosen Company for over 15 years and they are the only jeweler’s that I will work with because of their amazing service and their honesty. Any time I’ve bought something from SRC they have shown me under a microscope what is going on so I can see what they are talking about. They walk you through the process and make you feel incredibly comfortable with your purchase. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Ask for Steven Rosen! My fiancée and I came here for a new engagement ring setting, which we had already researched online. They had the setting available immediately to try on. Steven was friendly and knowledgable. We got the setting and the ring set within a week and the ring was appraised at no extra cost by Steven, who is a certified gemologist. We were able to look under the microscope to see the GIA serial number on the diamond before and after the setting. I would recommend going to Sydney and Rosen Co for your jewelry need in Philly. They are professional, not pushy, honest, and the service was great.

Bought my engagement ring for my girlfriend here — no problems whatsoever, so I decided to buy my wedding band from here — BIG MISTAKE!!!
I picked out my band the first week of August and said my wedding was Sept. 20^th. I was told it would be in in about 2 weeks. Over 2 – 3 weeks goes by and they tell me the wrong ring was sent to them and that another one, the RIGHT one, would arrive in about a week or 2. Last week they tell my girlfriend it would be in last week. I get a phone call Sept. 8^th and I’m told its back ordered 2 weeks — after my wedding date. I’m then told I could use a loaner for my wedding day and then come in and get my ring after. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!! Oh, it gets better. I’m THEN told that the manufacturer doesn’t even make the ring anymore. Yeah — This is told to me less then 2 weeks from my wedding.
These people had over 7 weeks to get my ring when they said it would only take 2. You will NEVER see a dollar of my business again.
And the kicker is, is that my girlfriend got her band from some wholesale diamond warehouse 2 blocks away — in less than a week. You guys don’t deserve jewelers row — you deserve a kiosk in the back corner of a K-​Mart — that’s closed.
Update: They offered to take off $ 150 from the cost of the ring, which we did because of time constraints. We should have gotten it for free.

Although my husband and I are already married, we have our wedding planned for the summer, and so we were in need of wedding bands.
My husband had gotten my engagement ring in Europe, but I really wanted a wedding band that would match the knife edge. Mr. David Rosen was really friendly and knowledgeable and we ordered my 18k yellow gold and my husband’s 14k white gold band.
Mr. Rosen was able to provide us with a quote the very same day. In face, I received an email on our way home. Although he said it would take a few weeks for them to make the rings, they were done in less than 2 weeks. We went over there, and found that my husband’s ring was perfect, but mine did not match my engagement ring. We then decided that I would leave my ring at the store, so they could match it perfectly.
Another 2 weeks later, the ring was ready to be picked up. It’s done beautifully and we’re both very happy with the results. We had a great experience shopping for our wedding bands here and I will definitely consider them again, when I’m ready for my next piece of jewelry.

Very knowledgeable and unbiased folks here. They will Educate you very well based on what you are looking to get and help you make decision. My gf/​fiancé/​wife (depending when you read this) is happy with the rings i have gotten her!

I came here to have a diamond set in my then girlfriend’s engagement band and insurance appraisal. The appraisal was quick and easy. The work to set the diamond in the band was completed in less than 24 hours, way above expectation.
Steven took every approach to make this unknown process clean and simple. I was proactively reassured with every step the ring was in good hands. Steven insisted on validating diamond serial #‘s through a microscope to give me that extra peace of mind.

My fiancé and I had a great experience here and I couldn’t more highly recommend the store. We worked with Jake Rosen and he was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and funny. We felt no pressure at any time to make a purchase.
Jake found us a beautiful diamond within my fiancé’s budget and we were both really pleased with the final product. When I changed my mind on the day we were finalizing the order, Jake immediately worked with us to find something else I liked. We emailed him about wanting to see different diamonds about an hour before we were due in and by the time we got there, Jake had other diamonds and settings ready for us to view. I found the perfect ring and b/​c the company’s website was down, Jake went above and beyond to call someone at the company (before we got there so we didn’t have to wait at all) to make sure they could do a custom order on the ring. He had options and information on insurance for us as well. Best of all, the ring came in within two weeks! Overall, the service was thoughtful, kind and informative. I highly recommend this store!

We had an excellent experience at Sydney Rosen the other day. Steven, one of the owners, was kind enough to take time out of his day to discuss a stone we had in our possession and offered us an identification on the house. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure to explain every detail of the ID process; he even let us observe what he pointed out under the microscope. It is because of Steven’s hospitality and service that we will be sure to return in the near future once we’re ready to proceed with our investment. We will definitely recommend this establishment to our family and friends.

I went here to look for an engagements ring in the Summer of 2011 and even though I did not end up going with Sydney Rosen for my engagement ring, I had no complaints. They were not pushy, they let me look at their diamonds under a microscope, the diamonds were priced fairly, and they had a lot of nice settings to pick from. Unfortunately, like I said, I did not pick to go with them for my engagement ring, but I definitely had a good experience with them and would go back for other jewelry in the future.

My boyfriend and I went here because his dad bought his mom’s engagement ring here. Of all the places we visited on Jeweler’s Row, we were most pleased with stopping in this store even though we did not buy anything.
Mr. Rosen was very accommodating in listening to our budget, my style, and bringing out a selection of rings I would be interested in given his years of experience (almost felt like I was working with a jewelry consultant).
He also talked about how their store offers rings that come with certifications and appraisals better than the EGL standard (EGL is lower than GIA). He also allowed me to look at rings through the magnifier and under different lights.
Great experience, knowledgeable jeweler, and I did not feel like I was being scammed compared to some other places on Jeweler’s Row.

Talk about customer service, skill, and jewelry. My fiancé worked with Patrick Fisher to pick out my engagement ring, and I got the pleasure to meet him when it needed to be resized. Patrick Fisher was extremely helpful, friendly and curteous. My fiancé tried some other stores on jewelers row, but was not taken seriously. He said that he was helped immediately at Sydney Rosen and was treated with dignity and respect. We are definately going back for our bands, and I am hoping to find some nice bracelets or earrings there for my bridesmaids. Also, my ring is stunning, they have a beautiful selection.
