I’m working next door and our dietary choices are very limited. Thankfully temple’s cafeteria is so close! I had a really good breakfast the other day of pancakes and turkey sausage. The pancakes were as good as most diners. Sweet deal for a hospital cafeteria. Their salad bar is pretty decent. I’ve also had the cream of chicken soup which was good. This is a solid lunch spot when I’m in the area.

Let’s start with the negatives: It was an absolute pain trying to log on to the wifi here using any Apple products.(my phone still doesn’t have wifi after 4 days of being here) That said, b/c i work in the healthcare sector, I have been to my share of hospitals and ate more than my share of hospital food. The cafeteria here is obviously newly renovated and I like the variety of food offered here, especially the free standing salad bar with different soups offered daily. Since i’ve been here, I’ve tried their salads, coffee, and pizza. The one thing I would recommend is the Pizza here, they cook ‘em in a brick stone oven and it tastes way better than the regular electric oven ones. The seating area is very large and has a lot of places to charge your phone should your battery run low. All in all, a very nice hospital cafeteria!

Honestly the price is right and the food is pretty good. Around the area there is not an extensive array of different restaurant to try out so this place is the place to go for a quick stop for food. As a regular here, I tend to get«make your own» salad, built to order sandwich, and sometimes spoil myself with french fries or onion rings. With the right touch of ingredients, you can make your salad taste as good as any other place. The ingredients are fresh and you pay for the salad by weight. My salads never come out to be more than 4 dollars. I will continue to come here for lunch whenever I need something quick.

Hospital food, right? No one likes it but I’m telling you… I opt for this any time I needa buy lunch in the area. The food is really cheap and its pretty tasty w/a changing and fairly extensive menu. Pizzas for $ 1.75(its a Sbarro-sized slice), chicken tenders, fish and chips, salad bar, sushi… they got it all. They take cash, credit, or money on your owl card or whatever. Only thing is you need to be an employee or student of Temple U. Check. it. out.
