I have not gone to this shop directly I took my car to Kong’s auto on January 26 2014 to get my car inspected I drive a 1993 Volvo 850 Kong’s auto does not have a dyno to do the emissions test on my car my odometer is broke on my car the gear that turns the numbers does not turn the mileage I let Frank at Kong’s auto know this and he said he would pass the car as long as it was safe to drive the odometer was ok for it to be broke even though I didn’t deal with you directly I knew you were the one who inspected the car and made it pass emissions thank you.

I was in a pinch and needed my car to be seen the same day. They were nice enough to take it same day. Went in for an alignment, was told I also needed tires which had to be paid for in cash. Sounded strange to me. Had to give cash to a worker that picked me up at my apartment, went to the shop to pay in full to stop any additional charges. Was told when I picked up my car that it also needed a tie rod which would be $ 50 extra. I said I had already paid and the owner asked if I would split the cost which I did.
Overall, I’m glad they took my car same day, but be wary of additional charges and unusual need for cash transactions.
