Great corner bar! The staff is very friendly. They even sell Pringles cans in a bunch of different flavors! Jukebox and pool tables. Been there a few times and haven’t been disappointed.

This bar is just slightly tucked away from the rest of the Northern Liberties bars and it’s great! Always have a good selection of beers on tap, atmosphere is super chill, never too crowded, and there’s pool inside along with corn-hole in the backyard. Speaking of the backyard, they also project sport games on a huge wall which is nice.

Wonderful neighborhood bar. Drinks are affordable and the people are very friendly. They make you feel as if you grew up in the neighborhood with them. Old movies are played throughout the day. Music requests are welcomed at the bar. Plus, good outdoor space with corn hole and your dogs are allowed back there.

I liked this little dive! The outdoor area is very spacious and they have games set up. There are plenty of large tables as well as benches along the wall. They only had one bartender working on a very busy night. She ran her butt off and we didn’t have to wait long. They have some decent beers on draft. I’ll be back!

Perfect dive bar tucked away from the craziness of Northern Liberties. There’s a pool table, a big yard with corn hole and lawn chairs/tables, a projection screen outside to watch Philly sports, reasonably priced drinks. I had no idea this bar existed and it’s a real gem!

I love Druids. Honestly the prices are just doable but the atmosphere totally kills it. Somehow they bring in the right people every night and the chemistry between the patrons and the bartenders completely rules. it reminds me of throwing parties in college because everyone gets just reckless enough without letting things get totally out of hand and hey… who can hate a place that projects sports onto their neighbors wall and has a special cornhole area? Druids to me is the real Paddys Pub of Philadelphia and ill continue to be a frequent stopper. Dont expect a quiet time here!

This is a cool dive bar away from the craziness that is Northern Liberties. The bartender was incredibly friendly and was very fun to chat with. The beer selection was decent from cheap beers to craft ones. The backyard was a lot bigger than I thought with a fun game of baggo to kill the time. If you want to have a drink, but not at an over crowded spot… then come here for your beer needs!

I really like the atmosphere of that bar. We went with a group of friends and I just had a great time with the pool table and the outside game(cant recall the name!) The drinks are cheap but what def sold me is the atmosphere. Will def go back!

This place is a gem! I love the atmosphere, it just feels like I’m back in high school playing cornhole in a friends backyard. This place is cheap, quiet, and very laid back. Comfy lawn chairs everywhere and darts, and pool tables, and cornhole! Did i mention cornhole? Beer prices are pretty reasonable and the location is great. It’s a perfect night cap bar after going to the hustle and bustle of the piazza and you just wanna chill and goof off and be silly. It’s got the same atmosphere as Frankford Hall but less well known, and overall, way more fun I will definitely come back here for more summer late nights. If they had a firepit, I think I’d move in

This was a nice little find off the usual northern liberties chaos. Very relaxed dive-y environment with good beers and a great game and outside area. We got to enjoy a nice night outside and feel like we were just in a friends backyard. We had tons of fun playing darts and pool. It hasn’t been crowded when I go but usually nice groups of people just shooting the shit. I’d go back here next time I find myself in this area.

Wow… I did a Unilocal search for pool tables and came across this bar. Steve(mixologist) is extremely knowledgable of tequila and quirky. Espolon! I love this place; pool table, jukebox, Cidre beer on tap… Because my friend isnt a smoker I refrained from using the backyard but that’s a plus… Check this place out.

This place is a hidden gem in No Libs. Great bartenders and extremely reasonable prices on shots and beers. Also, there is usually a dog or 2 in this bar which makes me extremely happy. This is just a great place for a chill beer with some friends, no frills.

Five stars for the cornhole in the back(get your mind out of the gutter — ), it being a solid place to play darts, and the selection of video games that you’d expect from a bar to deliver entertainment. But I do have to take a star off for Druid’s Keep not living up to the immediate expectation that you think of when picturing its name. When you think of a name like Druid’s Keep you INSTANTLY picture the Belgian influence and envision a beer paradise the caliber of Monk’s, Eulogy, The Abbey, and other such bars that go with that theme in their name. While the Keep does provide a slightly better beer selection than most others, it is a solid neighborhood bar that does come up just a tad short for failing to meet the immediate expectation that you think of when seeing the name and sign. Its the equivalent of coming across a bar with«Mc» or «Irish» in the name that doesn’t serve Guinness or Jameson. But name issue aside, the Keep is the perfect NoLibs neighborhood bar for drinks and a good time. and you do have to give bonus points for the fact that it being off on of the more many traveled NoLibs streets makes it the perfect spot to get out of dodge for awhile. The drink selection is well rounded and reasonably priced, and the service is reasonable. And all of the above make it a worthy spot to add to any NoLibs bar crawl list, especially if you accept my challenge to a game of Cornhole!

I’ve been here several times and it’s fine — definitely a locals bar. I really do love their backyard — that’s the real appeal to me! Bartenders have always been friendly and the draught list covers all bases(Miller Lite and Dogfish Head).

Great little neighborhood joint. I come here rarely enough, but I’ve never been dissapointed. Good social bartenders, full bar selection, dark and generally quiet place. Mostly good for stopping in for drinks before heading out somewhere else for food, or just having a night cap, in my experience.

A great little neighborhood bar. I find myself here to either play darts, or sit in the backyard to take in the game, or sometimes a movie which they project on the side wall of the adjacent building. Due to the fact that it is slightly off the main drag in Northern Liberties it tends to be more of a neighborhood crowd, which is a great change for a Friday or Saturday night when you don’t want to deal with drunken dubochery that can be 2nd street at times, especially in the summer.

quiet, full bar, no food. let me rephrase that: the place was absolutely dead on a sunday afternoon even though there were a few games on to watch. we asked the bartender if there was indeed a menu, and we were informed there’s no kitchen. not a big deal, we stayed for a drink anyway. then i realized there are multiple pringles cans behind the bar. are these for customers? it would have been nice to have been offered… considering we asked about food… people like snacks, lady.

Ok, so they’ve got a pretty decent beer selection and a nice back yard. I came here one night after slamming down a pint of Oak Aged Arrogant Bastard at The Standard Tap. It was pretty dead but we lingered for a beer anyway. Out in the backyard, people were playing a game called CornHole. I’ve seen this game before but I’ve never heard it called that. Anyway, it seemed like a good time. I attempted to shoot a game of pool but as soon as I put my dollar down on the table, someone tried to steal it. Upon confronting the person he apologized and then proceeded to loaf around until it was last call time. I unfortunately did not get to shoot a game of pool. At least I got my dollar back. So, a middle of the road review. The place seems simple and straightforward enough. I’m sure we’ll cross paths again.

Druid’s keep is the most unassuming bar in Northern Liberties. I don’t come here too often, but it’s a nice place with decent beers on tap. You can bring your dog and hang out in the backyard, or play a game of corn-hole if you want. Or grab some of the trivial pursuit cards sitting around the bar. It’s never too crowded. Simply, Druid’s Keep is chill, and while amazing, a breath of fresh air for Northern Liberties. Best of all, the Phillies are projected on a huge wall outside. Druid’s Keep wins over the piazza in several respects for watching Phillies games, mainly in the respect that there less of a crowd, and the people who are there actually watch baseball. Happy hour is weekdays, 5 – 7 with dollar off all drafts.

The Druid’s Keep at first appears to be a little hole-in-the-wall, but it has more depth than you might expect. The Druid’s Keep is a good, comfortable, somewhat dirty Philly neighborhood bar, where Our Friends may hang out. Normally I do not get excited about a dive with only five taps, but when the five are Hopdevil, Yards IPA, Kenzinger, Magic Hat Spring Vinyl Lager, and Anchor Steam, it might get my respect. When I entered, the entire bar(five guys, actually — tough, Philly guys) was enrapt with the History Channel — Human Weapon — and really getting into the martial arts display.(This place definitely channeled the warrior characteristics of the druids more than the bardic ones, although they do have Trivial Pursuit cards on the bar for a wee bit of balance.)
The back features a 4×8 pool table, but the dart board got far more action. A door opens onto a relatively private(albeit a touch post-apocalyptic) backyard patio. I entered intending to just check the place out, but ended up buying a couple of guys some drinks, getting bought a few more by them and others, and staying the entire evening. Fun stuff! Beer: Small, but quality selection. Food Menu: Cans of Pringles behind the bar Ambiance: Upscale Philly dive bar.(Yeah, I don’t know what that means either, but it fits.) Amenities: TV’s, Internet juke box, a few video games(Golden Tee), pool, darts.
