Ordered a cake for a recent party and it was delicious and beautiful. Cakes were moist, excellent flavors, and beautifully decorated. Have already ordered another cake for this weekend. Lemon bars are also delicious. Service is friendly, personable. This will be my go to place for birthday and other party cakes. Well worth the drive from the Main Line.

Everything from here is wizardry. The raspberry crumb bar is more like a shortbread crust covered in luscious raspberry jam and oatmeal toffee.

Amazing bakery, and there are too few. The lemon squares, cookies and brownies are the best I’ve ever had. The cakes look beautiful and I can’t wait to have an occasion. I’m glad they are in the neighborhood, a short walk for a sweet treat.

Inside this adorable quirky shop in the heart of the commercial section of Germantown lies the key to happiness. The adventure begins with cheerful greeting by the attendant or one of the bakery’s owners(a lovely married couple with a background in culinary arts.) The display case is filled with cookies, cupcakes, bars, and a separate area for gluten-free goodies. Each item is picturesque with an even balance of flavor and texture. The lavender macaroons are crisp shells which disolve into perfect bites of chewiness and sweet creamy filling. The floral note is slight and helps temper what could be a dangerous level of sweetness. The cupcakes are moist when fresh with decadent buttercream pillars. The frosting alone is worth a visit to this shop; it has a faint vanilla flavor, enviable fluffiness, and you can taste the real butter that went into it. While it may not be great for my figure, I enjoy shoveling the red velvet into my mouth without abandon. The chocolate cupcake from my experience has a richness that pairs well with a tall glass of milk(or blended into a salted caramel milkshake for total gluttony.) The cherry bars expertly meld tart bing cherries with an oat crumble(and maybe nuts, if my memory doesn’t fail me.) The crumble has a slight crunch which I feel offsets the chewiness of the bar. The chocolate cake with raspberry jam and chocolate ganache I dream of having at my wedding. It is rich, slightly bitter, with a contrasting piquancy from the raspberry jam which they make in-house. The gluten-free items and tea/coffee are brought in from allergen — free facilities that are also local. I was told they keep an assortment to help satiate discriminating palates that may have food sensitivities, which I felt was very thoughtful. I tried a «Triple Chocolate Brownie» which tasted far from anything free. It was fudgey, intoxicatingly sweet, and rich to the point of requiring an espresso. Really, you can’t go wrong. The shop feels welcoming, the prices are fair, the owners are kindhearted, and the products are delicious. Support a local, small business and enjoy every minute of it!

This bakery is AMAZING! The cookies, bars, pies, and cakes are expertly made, stunningly beautiful, and absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the pumpkin cake with cinnamon cream cheese icing for the holiday season. The cake is perfectly moist and the ratio of icing to cake is spot on. On top of the product being delicious, the bakery is absolutely beautiful and a feast for the eyes. There are beautiful wooden floors, shelves, counters, and display stands and the owners have done an exquisite job of decorating the place with fun portraits and figurines of woodland creatures. This is the perfect place to take your little ones! If you like baked goods and Fantastic Mr. Fox/Peter Rabbit/The Wind in the Willows, then this is the bakery for you. I really could not be more excited about this new bakery! I will absolutely be ordering my next birthday cake here :)

It’s so exciting to have a beautiful little bake shop further down Germantown Avenue! We’re very lacking of these types of businesses down at the Germantown end. I recently picked up cookies and a read-to-take red velvet cake with cream cheese icing for a meeting/event. Everyone thought the cookies were excellent! There were some mixed thoughts on the cake. The icing was perfect — not too sweet and not too heavy. The cake, however, seemed a bit dry and crumbly or coarse. I’m not sure how far in advance the inventory of cakes are prepared or if maybe the recipe needs a bit of tweaking. I may try cupcakes in the future instead. Very happy to support a new local business and hope they become a successful new addition to the neighborhood.

Excellent treats, really good prices, and a beautiful little shop. Sean and Jenny, the proprietors, are great people and from the neighborhood. Germantown/Mt. Airy is lucky to have this place!

We just stopped in for the grand opening and what a cute little shop. Perfect interior! It feels warm and inviting and there is a lot of small well chosen details. We took advantage of the cake samples. Deep, rich, moist chocolate with a raspberry filling. The butter cream was spot on! The husband gave it a good review and he is stingy with compliments. We also got two brownies. The selection of baked goods was great!

My dream bakery, and yours, too. Cookies: peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip are all perfect. Brownies: exactly right in density, chocolate-ness, moistness. Cakes: yellow cake with lemon curd, chocolate cake, pumpkin cake are all perfect. Raspberry bars: Lovely shortbread base, jam, crumbly crumbles on top. You can taste the butter, the sugar, the flour, the chocolate, the vanilla, the salt. Mmmm. Especially the butter. Sounds like hyperbole, I know, but it’s all true. One more thing, after several(several) visits: the prices are too low. Yes, too low. I should not be able to walk out with a two-days’-worth bag of goodies for only five bucks. Frosted Fox, you must remain in business forever — don’t underprice yourself out of existence.
