Food was excellent and not overpriced

Food: Had the eggplant appetizer which went from bland to amazing with the addition of a small amount of salt. Had the special Athenian Halibut which I cannot say enough good things about; it was exquisite. I would have been happy with more of it! The portion size was fine for most people but I’m one of those «more is better» people when it comes to food.
The hostess was a delight and the wait staff was I guess what you’d expect from fine dining but I like to laugh and joke with them and there was none of that. Of course, I didn’t go for the social experience, I went for the food, which, as I said, was outstanding.

Fantastic meal at Alexi’s! Everything was perfect! Great food, great staff and a gracious host, Michael!

We started with the happy hour «The Crusher» petite sirah from Clarksburg, CA and brought another glass from bar to table to enjoy with meals: Alaskan grilled halibut with roasted tomatoes and feta cheese, and Lamb chops with carrots and potatoes. We had to include desserts: Tiramisu and gluten-​free Chocolate mousse which was unbelievably chocolate-​like. All delicious!

A beautiful waiting area outside with a running waterfall was like being at a country club.
Attractive upscale restaurant. Spacious feel with big windows looking at the outside greenery. Tables were arranged conveniently for our big group. Great service by waiter who was professional, pleasant and on top of things. Food was wonderful. Loved my entrée, Veracrusano. perfectly sauteed cod in unique spicy marinara and served with pasta.
Tiramasu was best ever. A future visit will be to try their lunch menu.

I stayed at the Wyndham, a 2-​minute walk from this restaurant. Arrived just after 7, and it appeared to be winding down from the dinner rush. Rather than wait for the staff to clear a table, I took a seat at the bar. The bar has approximately 10 seats.
When the bartender finally acknowledged me, I ordered the house Chianti, which was fine, but I wasn’t offered a menu. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes waiting to be asked how the wine was, if I wanted an appetizer or to be offered a menu.
You only get one chance at a first impression, and this place failed.

This is a must do restaurant in Central Phoenix. I have been several times and had the Chicken Picatta, Chicken Marsala Southwest and Fettucine Alfredo and they are all delicious. Service and staff are very attentive without being intruding. They also have a wonderful Happy Hour with great appetizers and drink specials.

Best duck I’ve had (gran mariner sause) Cesar salad was also very tasty. Great service, came quick!

Alexi’s is one those places that always keeps you coming back for the great service that they provide! The food is incredible, there’s always favor .The atmosphere is so cozy, it’s great for a date night and it’s that great for a casual night. No matter what you are in thee mood, they deliver every time. Michael the owner always makes you feel welcomed! Thomas is the best at the craft of service. Thank you for giving us a great place to keep coming back too.

Please keep in mind I was raised in Las Vegas were we are spoiled on both service and food. This is one of the first establishments I decided to try in my new town (relocation for work) the bar tender J. was fantastic he handled many orders from the table servers while staying very attentive to my needs making sure I got one more drink in before happy hours ended (which I didn’t even know was in effect) a traditional Italian cuisine I spotted something I wanted Immediately and after ordering (which was prompt due to Jims observant eye) the soup portion was put within 2 min which is fast by any ones standards. The soup was well made and perfectly proportioned for a before dinner soup… I ordered the smoked salmon alfredo which came out so fast it made me sceptical of the quality. But alas the salmon was very good and infused through the the whole meal though I will say it was a little sparse… the food was wonderful and as a rally give a 5 star this hits a solid 4 with price being fare the service being amazing and the food excellent. Do not hesitate to give this establishment a try at your first chance.

This restaurant and service needs to be applauded. We arrived from Houston on 3/​16, tired from airport and driving and 2 hour time change. I looked up Italian restaurants locally. Alexi’s Grill was not number one, but became so, after reviewing on Unilocal and looking at the menu, which included 3 – 7 happy hour. Arrived to park in huge lot, outdoor covered seating, lounge seating and dinner seating. Met at door by Michael Zistatsis, co-​owner. We chose the window seat for two (romantic), as full dinner could be served there. Happy hour pricing is tremendous-​fried calamari for me ($ 5); my wife had huge blackened caesar salad, again $ 5; Cadillac Margarita for $ 5 and wine for $ 5. Then dinner-​all served by Tom, from behind the bar. He earned a 30% tip. Michael came back many times and did visit every table in the lounge at lease twice.
This is a mature crowd; not noisy. 2 TVs are in lounge, but not obvious. We felt like we were wined and dined. so enjoyed ourselves. By the way, portions were so large, be had enough for the next night’s dinner.
We will be back. What a great find !!! Highly recommend. Outdoor covered seating also.

Happy Hour at Alexis for St. Patrick’s Day today was just as fantastic as dinner. Great classic cocktails. Great apps!!! Superb service!!! Fantastic prices and ambiance!!!

I thought this place was great! My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine’s Day & had a great meal. We had a nice house wine, I ordered the chicken bolognese, and he had the roast duck. All the food was amazing, even the bread and salad was phenomenal.
The only thing was that as tasty as my boyfriend’s duck was, it had a nasty hair in it. The restaurant replaced his meal, but I feel that more could have been done besides simply saying «it happens».

I had a pleasant dining experience at Alexis Grill with food having exquisite flavors. I had a business meeting and I wanted something close that I could bring my clients to.
This restaurant has the name Grill in it, so I was expecting a bar and grill environment. Perhaps not the best food, but I was very happy to find they served dishes of a higher standard.
The environment has a feel of fine dinning and the staff is dresses in manner you do not always find in the area Phoenix. There are dishes you might find in a Greek restaurant as well. I recommend Alexis Grill to anyone who would like something better than the same food you find at every chain in town.

Lovely surprise. We came here with the express decision to have the «best Caesar salad «. We were impressed with the eggplant appetizer, it was delicious. The Caesar salad has a great deal of oregano which is very interesting. The halibut was divine topped with tomato and a very mild feta cheese. We would definitely recommend Alexi’s

Love this place. I used to go here all the time when I worked at Dignity Health, and it’s great to be back in the neighborhood (my office at least) to enjoy their food. Atmosphere is business dress — most men have collared shirts, suits or slacks and nice shoes. Tables have white tablecloths. Having said that it is not pricey — the lunch menu is very affordable and a great place for a business lunch. Highly recommended if you are in the St Joseph’s hospital area along central and looking for a nice lunch spot for a business meeting.

A little bit pricey, but expected for this nice restaurant. I have only eaten to-​go or stopped by for a drink as I attend a class in the same building, but the food was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly. This is definitely a date-​night spot for me.

Enjoyed lunch here with my son and a long time friend who had business in the area after our gathering. I searched out a place nearby and the Alexis Grill was a logical choice based on its location and other Unilocal reviews.
The three of us each ordered different seafood specials of the day which is not typical for me. Mine was grilled halibut with goat cheese topping that was quite good. My son had shrimp and shellfish over pasta which he really liked while my old pal tried the salmon special. Everything was made to order and served quickly.
We arrived early for lunch (11:45am) and by the time we finished the dining room was pretty full with business men and women which I believe is an at testament to its popularity.

I am impressed. I wish we had visited this place sooner as we work less than a mile away. Service was great and I was pleasantly surprised with the food. We all ordered a different variety of dishes and the all looked good. Will definitely be back for lunch.

Came in here on a business lunch and was amazed at the professional atmosphere .
Next it was the prices, all under $ 15 for lunch. This included top options.
Location is great and parking is plentiful.
Will be back and would recommend it
