The Urban Village at Barrington Regent is a wonderful program that fosters community involvement and encourages all residents to organize events and projects. Urban Village(UV) sponsors a monthly Resident Council Meeting. This is an opportunity for Residents to meet and discuss upcoming ideas and events. In 2015, Urban Village at Barrington Regent has hosted monthly Game and Movie Nights, Multi-Cultural Potluck Dinners, Wine Tastings, Yappy Hour(a dog-owner meet & greet) as well as Earth Day Celebrations and Holiday Get-togethers. UV supports programs for the young and the elder Residents and bridges the gap between neighbors of all cultures. Please inquire about the Urban Village at Barrington Regent. They also offer rent reduction for event facilitators; it’s a great way to get involve and know your neighbors.

They get One Star because you cannot give Zero Stars. The property is poorly maintained, due to inadequate Management. They charge you. «Gate Opener» deposit of $ 75.00, but do not return deposit upon move out and return of Gate Opener. Be cautious with the«Manager» named Tiffany, she has few scruples.

Pure luxury. The hot tub is to DIE for. This place is so spacious you can share your room with two, even three people! HELLOBUNKBEDS! As you enter this palace through two, white, double doors, you are greeted(blinded) with the fluorescent lighting of the kitchen. It’s almost like being greeted at the pearly gates of heaven. Then you tip toe onto the soft, plush, off-white(wait…was this originally NOT off– white?) carpet, and, depending on how you choose to decorate, take a seat on a deteriorating old wooden dresser. I would describe it as «antique-y» or «broken beyond repair». The sound systems you find in this luxury highrise usually consist of an i-phone propped up into a red cup to make the soundwaves really amplify. Last time I listened to this, I could barley tell the difference between the BR acoustics and Madison Square Garden! Anyway, please let me stop rambling. I could just go on for days. Just know that the BR will always be my home away from home, no matter where life takes me. Peace, Love, and Andrew Doyle. xx
