Bloom 24 Apartments

What did I get myself into! Only been living here one month and it has been horrible from the start. Got my keys and was shocked when I opened my apartment extremely dirty took me two days to clean when I should of been moving. Rotten egg odor was coming out of the upstairs ac unit let Nicole know extremely dismissive told me all the units smelled like rotten egg I guess because they are all connected. After further inspection I realized the filter hadn’t even been changed. Pet hair everywhere not sure who cleaned this unit. Towel racks loose, holes in the ceiling, loose tiles. Let Nicole know again dismissive said the exterminator must of dirtied it. Paint all over the floor had to literally get on my hands and knees to clean with a small sponge I guess the painters must of done it. Woke up this morning for work couldn’t get out of the parking lot the back gate was broken I guess she will have an excuse for that also I will be sure to let my boss know why I was late when she tells me. Now I come home from work tired all the spaces are taken including my assigned spot and the towing company can’t even do anything about it I guess I’m parking on the street paying all this money for this joke. do not rent here. Called Nicole to see if she could do anything about this vehicle she came and put a sticker on it really I guess that’s her answer for this also a sticker. I would put zero stars if I could. I hate how you guys treat me like if I don’t know how to react to certain situations or I didn’t handle them the right way. I’ve lived in over 5 different apartment complexes and this has been the worst seriously I mean you guys have an excuse for everything resolve the situation and stop trying to tell me how to react. I don’t have to send an email or tell anyone how to their job resolve your issues the first time like every other complex apartment I’ve lived in example, Grigio great, Ashton Pointe great, residences at 4225 good. Aspire to be great instead of giving an excuse for everything and thanks for apologizing!

When I first moved in The apartment was unclean very dirty paint all over the floor.
filter for the AC was very dirty A hole in the ceiling of the bedroom that outlet was not even screwed in. Plus my first couple weeks here some one here took my assigned parking. When I complain about how dirty and disgusting is it Nicole said inspection might’ve made it dirty which wasnt the answer I was looking for. I told her about the smell she told me old unit connected to each other and she would of smell it at the office also. I thought I could trust Nicole but not when I checked the filter myself it was disgusting dirty stinky smelly. I went and told her that the filter was not clean and that the cover was not screwed into the ceiling that’s unsave Might of fallen onto my head her answer is well that’s the first time I hear that maybe at the inspection was playing with that or they just forgot to screw it back in and when I always trying to tell her what’s going on in that unit she always doesnt have a time of day for me she closes the office to run her own personal errands. No need to read office hours since she is the only one there it’s open only when she feels like it. She never listens always talks over me. One of the nights when I came home from work I was very tired trying to park in my assigned parking like everybody else well that didn’t happen because someone had took it.
I took the right step and called the number for the trying to park in my assigned parking like everybody else well that didn’t happen I took the right step I called the towing truck and they informed me they cannot do anything until the complex management calls them in. I call the security company and they didn’t answer until I call them many times and they tell me there is nothing they can do. Lastly I called the apartment complex and they called me after couple hours later with attitude didn’t let me even explain myself how mad and sad I was and stressed she told me that I don’t have the right to call it was not an emergency and she told me that I wasn’t paying for my assigned parking so that wasn’t a big deal. That made me write this comment
I’m not sure why they call it a assigned parking when they don’t even do Anything about it I have to park in the dark outside the complex apartment because to begin with they don’t have even enough parking for everybody and she informed me if I park anywhere else I might get towed but the guy who took my parking isn’t going to get towed I don’t get it either that was her vehicle friend vehicle or someone pay her to just park there. All I want to say is if I explain and complain about my issue I wanted to hear her either solve the issue or apologize not to interrupt me by explaining the law yelling and hanging up. I saw that as unprofessional disrespectful very sad to see this from the manager not sure who taught her to treat tenants like this.
I did come the same day down and saw her in office and I informed her and show her the pic that I took. Her answer was I give you a list check to check if there is anything wrong just checked it and if I was telling a lie you can see the camera in office at 11:30am on the 12/​26/​2015 when I come down and show her the pic so please let her know get a better lie
Even is show I took those pic in my phone date time just like 3min after we left the office on 12/​26/​2015 at 11:26am and I get down the office at 11:30am the same day and show her what I found.
I come down couple days later and ask her about if she inform the maintenance man to come fixed the issue that should be don before even we get the apt she tell me she don’t recall that.
I give her the list of what is going on and i tell her do u renumber when I come down the same day and you tall me to just check list when what ever not don when I even show you photo she say that the first time I talk to her about the issues. I that she going to apologized. I guess not but the maintenance guy there he listens to hour issues and he solved the issues very quickly and he also apologized I did not even hear one Excuse from him. and ask if we need anything else also I will love to work with him if I have any issues with my apt then Nicole.
He is very friendly he always see us in morning he say good morning even if we have bad day he make hour day great so I want say thank you!

I”ve been here over a year now, and managment and maintenance staff continue to be helpful. It’s a great community to live.

I am writing to bring to your attention varying issues I have experienced during my residence here at Bloom 24. I am currently confused and upset as to why I was never notified that there was a change to the gate code. Is it my responsibility to guess and figure out that the # symbol was removed from the code? I am now late for work after returning for a morning cup of coffee. This situation is however the least inconvenient of many issues I have experience while living here. Lately, there has rarely been propane in the grills. In fact, the last time I attempted to grill steaks– there was no tank even under the grill. This means that somebody took the propane out and never bothered to let anyone know or consider replacing it. I asked to have my tub re-​caulked several months ago and had to complain to get this done. I’ve witnessed domestic violence two doors down, as well as blaring loud music. My boyfriend had to call 911 one weekend this winter because of the domestic dispute and his concern when it became loud enough for me us to hear with our doors closed. I bring these issues to you attention as I am a young professional. I work very hard to afford a nice lifestyle and I’m very upset at the lack of care, thought, and courtesy that Bloom 24 represents. I am tired of going to my mother’s house to do laundry because people don’t care to shake off dog and animal hair before washing their possessions. The elliptical in the gym doesn’t work, not to mention all of the tiny dead spiders on the floor and the lack of toilet paper or paper towels in the bathroom. The bikes that were marketed as for residents were stolen and never replaced. The dumpster is surrounded by garbage and random furniture and other items that no one bothers to actually place inside the dumpster. There are apartments that have sat demolished, dirty, and unpleasant looking from the exterior for more than 7 months. It is so unfortunate that Bloom 24 is not well maintained of cared for by the company that owns it– this property might entice me to stay and even upgrade to a loft if just a few daily routines and efforts were carried out– it could be a nice place to live. All of these concerns may be addressed or left unconsidered– however I urge you to address them if you truly want to represent «living well».
I was told an email went out yesterday regarding the gate– I did not receive any notification.
