Bob’s Tropicals

What the hell is this place? They can’t possibly hold down that lease selling only pots (boring/​average ones~oh but you can pick your color from a swatch). THEY DON’T HAVE ANY PLANTS FOR SALE! I foolishly went in there looking for a bonsai tree. NO, «they don’t do very well here». Bu then I looked around and they only have a handful of plants in the building and they’re NOT FOR SALE. My recommendation, don’t bother.

Outstanding customer service! The owner (Bob) helped me choose a pot for one of my ferns and I couldn’t be happier. I’m new to maintaining plants in my home, so Bob’s knowledge and cheerful disposition was appreciated.
I consider this store to be a Central Phoenix staple. They offer a beautiful selection of greenery and accessories in a casual setting, which is neither pretentious nor trendy. Good service from good people, it’s not surprising they’ve been in business for decades!

I needed to have some large tropical plants given some TLC. They needed new soil and whatever necessary to keep them healthy in the future. It wasn’t to expensive at all. This company has been in the same place for years so that in itself makes for a good recommendation of their services. They do sell some plants and will come out to your house and set up an indoor plant system and maintain it among other things. I have been in their from time to time over the years but only to buy some indoor plants. Check them out, it’s an interesting little store. The employees are always nice and have never been pushy. I appreciate that.
They are moderate to pricey but they can provide you with nice things in the area of tropical plants that you might not find so easily elsewhere.
