Dillard’s

There customer service is horrible. I called and asked to talk to someone in the jewelry department and no one would answer the phone. The lady working in the bra department was very rude and disrespectful, taking the items out of my hand.

They should get a bunch of freaking 0’s!.. They treat there employees like shit… worst place someone could work at. I wasn’t an employee but I know someone that did!.. I don’t think I could ever goo back to this place & shop!!.I wouldn’t recommend this stupid place at all!..

Not the best location for quality and inventory. They are flooded with Michael Kors and Coach and needs an update like 5 years ago… I rather drive to the Arrowhead location. The cosmetic counters def need an update especially with lighting. Asked for help at the Lancome counter and the gals there are extremely helpful. Walked over to the Estee Lauder counter and the girl there seemed bothered and didn’t even go out of her way to match a foundation correctly. I go here for necessity and for the great cardholder sales but otherwise I just head over to the Arrowhead location.

I bought two small Michael Kors wallets they were not used or anything and just because I wanted to return them they did’t want to return my money because the white wallet looked dirty from one side and not the other so they just gave me store credit instead of putting the money back in my Dillard’s credit card, bad experience at Macy’s they let you return anything when ever you want so if you want name brand stuff as in Purses, wallets go to Macy’s because Dillard’s is bad last time I buy anything from there.

4 stars is fair enough. I don’t think it merits a 5 star rating since this particular location is somewhat in disrepair and has definitely seen better days. I remember shopping here with my mom in the early 80’s. The quality was way better and only the «upscale» people shopped here which made us feel a bit awkward because we were NOT upscale by any means. I get a sense of melancholy when I frequent this location because I can still see the original structure and detail which denotes a once lavish department store… which is lavish no more. I shop here quite often though but prefer the Dillard’s in Scottsdale since it’s so much cleaner, modern and the selections are beyond what the Desert Sky location can ever offer.

Man, I’m telling you, this Dillard’s is a gold mine in the west valley! It would be a day trip for me to drive to a decent mall to go shopping. However this Dillard’s has come through for me so many times. When I need a quick outfit and don’t have all day to shop I hit up this place. I’m always amazed at how good the sale items are and there aren’t that many people shopping here so the selection is great. There is this one rack of jewelry by the escalator that is marked at 30% — shit needs to go or be priced to sell at 70% off.
After Christmas I scored some nice décor at 80% off, I look forward to going back next year. I grab my Clinque products here and the makeup counter ladies are a pain in the ass but still, I appreciate the convenience.

Dillard’s at the Desert Sky Mall may not be the best store in the fleet, but it serves a purpose for me. This red headed step-​child store lacks inventory compared to other stores. This store is pretty close to my house and can always find my Clinique products without a long trek to the bigger Dillard’s. This store is also the store where I make my returns.
I understand the changing climate of this mall will ultimately force Dillard’s out, but hope that the huge Litchfield Park mall is finally built and will most likely house a state of the art Dillard’s. Until then, how about sprucing up this Dillard’s which is in desperate need of it! The clientele at this mall may not support this store financially but a remodel will attract folks who would normally drive up to Arrowhead Mall.

Not my favorite Dillard’s– but I had to exchange my some shirts I bought for my husband and the lady working in the men’s department was very helpful finding the right sizes. On the other hand, the girls in the fragrance and make-​up departments were completely useless! They were more interested in gossiping than making a sale. :-(Bad bad experience.
