The beer selection is OK. Wine tends to be more in the value ballpark which is fine but Bradley’s up the road has a better selection IMHO. Big humidor in the back. Employees have always been somewhat brusque and not interested in talking beer /wine even when there are no other customers in the store. NOTE: more than a few months ago, photocopied«closed temporarily» signs were taped to the door and the lights were off. I’ve not been able to figure out why but looks like it might be closed. Interesting that the whole strip mall was recently rehabbed and there was a huge new sign for the store that I don’t think was ever installed.

this place must have switched ownership or something to that affect. Over the last few months the shelves have been bare. The beer fridge half empty. Not worth it anymore. Go up the street to Bradley’s. Sad but true.

I’ve been shopping here for years. They have a huge selection of micro-brews(which if you look at some of my other reviews, you know I cherish them). They pride themselves on their extensive wine selection as well(which takes up about ½ of the store). Their Maryland wine selection is less robust that Bradley’s(across the street). Occasionally they will have a winery or distributor pouring free samples. Also, they will from time to time be playing awesome classic rock, when they have the sound system on. Tip: No lottery here, you’ll have to walk around the corner to the 7 – 11.
