Marquis Diagnostic Imaging

Very professional and kind staff. My dad is in a wheelchair and was extremely nervous when transferring out of his wheelchair into the one they had and onto the the MRI table. The staff was so kind and encouraging to him and even helped with my family transfer my dad out of his chair. Great staff! Also the waiting room was very nice and had cold water. It was a little chilly but other than that it was fine.

If I could give this place a negative I would, I was there Monday night 7−20−15 for an MRI, my appt was scheduled for 8:00 and they didn’t get me back till almost 9:00. I put my knee brace phone w/​wallet case, car keys and glasses in the locker and took the key with me to the room. When I came out 30 minutes later or so I opened the locker using my key and what do you know my phone was gone, everything else was in the locker. The staff continued to say no one else went back there (so that means one of the 3 staff took it) but my stuff was still gone. I don’t know why; but whoever took my phone didn’t take my car keys and drive away which is why it makes me feel like it was an inside job so the person who took my phone obviously couldn’t take my truck because they were working, it would have not been hard to drive away considering all they had to do was use my keys to unlock the vehicle and drive into the sunset. My phone wallet had my debit card and license in it so now I have had to get a new bank card, license and pay $ 100.00 deductible for a new phone which I don’t think is fair considering I put my stuff in a locked locker and had the key with me. One of the staff pulled on the locker a few times and was able to open it which tells me this place isn’t safe to have my personal items in. I will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone. It would have been nice for them to offer and get me a new phone since it was in there office that I had it stolen from. They always tell you to look your items in these lockers but don’t tell you it isn’t safe, I was just telling my story to a staff at work and found out she was there last night and couldn’t remember which locker was hers so she put her key in the wrong one and it opened the door, she realized it wasn’t her stuff so she locked it and opened the next one. Why give you a key to a locker that opens other doors? Why does this place only have a camera outside and not inside where people have personal items in lockers? I am outraged that I went somewhere thinking my things were safe and to find out they were not. People please listen and do not trust them in putting your personal things in lockers that do not work or protect your items from a possible thief this company employs.

I had previously posted a review after my original visit to Marquis. The review was less than complimentary as there were issues regarding my insurance co-​payment and being requested to pay upfront. As I was unaware, I ended up leaving without my tests being completed.
With that said, I felt compelled to repost as after discussing my issue with Elaina (no sure of the spelling), a manager at Marquis, I decided to return to complete the testing. I must say the treatment I received was amazing from the point of checking in thru the end of my testing. I was impressed with Christine at the front desk, the prep tech and the Tech who performed the actual testing.
I still feel there needs to be some attention directed by Marquis relating to co-​payments but I must say, good job Elaina and the team at Marquis for turning a bad situation completely around!!!

Thanks to Amanda’s help, I made the decision to get our child’s brain MRI done here. I am incredibly grateful to her for walking me through it, explaining the advantages of their state-​of-​the-​art machine and the amazing hours. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helped me make an informed decision. When I found out they have such great hours (evenings/​weekends), short scan times — 17 minutes vs. 45 – 60 min (what?!), success with non-​sedation MRI’s for kids and you could bring your own music on CD, we were sold.
We went on a weeknight late in the evening and Ben was the person who performed the scan. He was so good with our son that he did better than most adults who get an MRI. Ben made it fun, found our son’s favorite song on his computer when the CD player wouldn’t work and made the process a breeze. We will definitely use this location again if we need scans or x-​rays in the future.

I am so disappointed in the service this time. I’ve been here many times and the techs are always good and friendly. Not these last two times. The tech was not friendly with my 9 year old and we waited for over an hour for a simple xray. Very upset. It is usually a great fast place to go..

I am shocked at all the bad reviews I have had to get a lot if imaging done lately and I have selected Marquis every time. The hours are convenient, very little wait time for appointments and the staff is very nice. I continue to go to Marquis because they are close to my house and I like the convenience. In and out.

Update: I did finally get my refund a year later after the doctor intervened and I reported them to the insurance company for fraud.

The worst experience I have ever had in an imaging facility. Complete disrespect for the clients time. A 15 minute MRI and 2 copies of the CD took 1 hr and 45 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. Appointment time means nothing. Compared to Smile Imaging this imaging center needs professional help. Use Smile Imaging if you can.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been waiting for three hours for an appointment that was 2.5 hours ago. The person is running behind, no kidding. They must think people don’t have any lives. I guess schedules don’t mean anything.

This place is awesome. Not that we ever get excited about having to use a medical facility but IF and when you need to have a scan, MRI or anything else they offer here you will not be disappointed.
It’s super clean, everyone is very nice and helpful and seems to over extend themselves to ensure your visit is as pleasant as can be.
I worked with a gal named Sandy who went above and beyond to check on my insurance approval status, get me in, in a timely fashion, and even called me back when she had a cancellation and got me in immediately. I mean within minutes.
I hate spending time at medical facilities BUT can’t stress enough how pleasant everyone made the visit.
Two thumbs up for Marquis Imaging and a huge pat on the back for Sandy, the smiling face that will greet you when you walk in!

Sort of a cluster at check-​in. They are so scared they might lose a dollar that they RE-​VERIFY your insurance by phone once you sign in. That’s the main reason they want you to come in 30 minutes BEFORE your actual appointment. The front office is a flurry of people on hold with insurance companies trying to make sure that they get every cent that they can out of you. The MRI experience itself was not too bad. The «tech» asked me a bunch of medical questions that had nothing to do with my MRI. I guess it makes them feel like their 6 week vocational training certificate makes them knowledgeable? An MRI screen requires TWO questions; 1. Do you have any metal in or on your body? and 2. Do you have any tattoos? (The tattoo question only really applies if it was done prior to the 90’s when some inks actually had metallic particles in them, especially the greens and blues.)

DON’T GO HERE! I went here all pre-​certified and the 20 something gal at the check in told me I had to pay since my deductible hasn’t been met. I requested that they bill my insurance, and then I’ll pay when I get my explanation of benefits. She said no and told me it would be about $ 350. Turns out the cost after insurance deductions was about $ 150 not the $ 350 she was going to charge!!! I declined and left. I then received a call from the local office apologizing and asked to give them a second chance, and agreed since it was all pre-​certified. I had my services performed, the beginning of Oct, received my EOB within a few weeks, but never received a bill, until now, which was a collection notice!!! So I never get a bill and they throw me into collections. This is one administratively challenged company. It’s not worth all the hassle.

I went to Marquis back in March 2011 for an ultrasound. The tech and the procedure were fine and I don’t have any complaints with that. However, the office had incorrectly billed my insurance, so I had to pay approximately $ 85 to Marquis for an out-​of-​network appointment, even though this place was in-​network. They use a third party (out of state) billing office and those employees were very rude and not cooperative. At least the $ 85 that I paid went towards satisfying my insurance deductible for the year. Cheryl, who is in the local office on 3^rd St. and is person I was told to work with to coordinate with their billing department, was very unhelpful and never seemed to care that this was done incorrectly. Finally after months of back and forth, they reluctantly resubmitted (incorrectly for different reasons) another claim. My insurance company did the right thing and adjusted the claim to show as in-​network. Once that happened, the $ 85 that went towards the deductible was subtracted, so I would still owe $ 85 for any future doctor visits in order to meet my deductible. Basically, I paid Marquis $ 85 and had to pay an additional $ 85 worth of deductible to my insurance company (after the reversal) to satisfy the individual deductible for the year. After this occurred, I decided to contact a manager at my insurance company, so he could help resolve this issue and get a refund from Marquis. It has been 15 months (yes almost a year and a half), and I have still not received a refund from Marquis. I called to talk to the general manager about a month ago to inform them that I was going to give them another chance for my business, despite this ongoing issue. I had left a detailed message for the GM through a different employee and briefly explained the history and my concern about going back there because of the issues. The GM never called me back, so that was final straw. It’s very unfortunate that they would let this continue for so long and lose business over a trivial amount of money. For me, it’s the principle that outweighs the dollar amount. I would never go there again or recommend this place to of my friends.

I have been to the facility in Gilbert three times They are absolutely the best imaging center I have ever used. Their staff is professional and courteous. The facility is spotless. I would highly recommend them to anyone. After having so many bad experiences elsewhere, they are a breath of fresh air.

When I was diagnosed with several lung tumors in February of 2010, I had no idea what I was in for. Xrays, Ultrasounds, MRIs, CT Scans, Pet Scans… tubes and machines that were scarry, loud, and intimidating.
I have been inside at least six different Imaging centers up to twice a month since then and have experienced the gamut of service levels.
The staff and convenience of Marquis is almost unparalleled. They take walk ins, coordinate everything with my Dr.‘s and surgeons so I don’t have to worry about details and can concentrate on myself, offer some of the newest and most powerful scans, hand me a CD of the results to take home with me, and have an extraordinarily friendly /​compassionate staff.
It’s the staff that makes this my first choice — every time. I have found over the last year that it is not uncommon to find health care providers that seem wearied over dealing with a constant flow of health challenged people and the system itself. But the people here make you feel like you are the only person they are dealing with. They look you in the eye. They hold your hand. They talk to you in a language that the medically untrained understand. They don’t treat you like you are a peice of meat.
Most imaging is not painful. But it is not pleasant. So when you have someone like Tara, who’s warm and caring demeanour makes it seem not quite so awful, it really stands out.
